Camptrek Safaris absolutely make your dreams come true, definitely giving you the African Feeling.
My partner and I have just returned to Australia (Sept 2025) still "star gazing" following our 15-Day Ultimate Epic Kenya and Tanzania Luxury Safari. Keeping in mind our ages 67 and 73 years old. Wanting to find a company that catered for all our requests and following our own research we chose CAMPTREK, for all the reasons mentioned below, they proved to be the ultimate, superior and most reliable company to deal with for all the following reason listed below and they certainly didn't disappoint. Kayla our agent, a very professional, heartwarming, caring, knowledgeable lady who no matter what questions I asked always got back to me, nothing was too much trouble for her. I highly recommend using Kayla, she was awesome and very understanding, a pleasure to work with, she supported us all the way from the very being of making the booking to the very end of our trip. We gave Kayla, Eric (Kenya guide) and Isya (Tanzania guide) a score of 200% out of 100%, it doesn't get any better than that for the service they all provided for us.

Our two guides, Eric whom we had in Kenya and Isay in Tanzania were outstanding in every way. They did and were happy to do everything I have mentioned above, it felt like we had known them for a very long time, they made our trip a success and we are very grateful and appreciated to have shared our time in Africa with them, they were simply the best guides that we could have asked for. Wonderful experience working with Camptrek. 14 day tour was scheduled and executed as planned.
Our contact at Camptrek - Margaret, was very responsive replying to our many questions prior to the trip. She provided suggestions and options that were very helpful. Due to border crossings between Kenya and Tanzania, we had three separate driver/guides. Each were very knowledgeable about the areas we chose, but also very helpful and engaging. It is almost surreal how they can spot animals and anticipate their next movement.
Our experience with Camptrak Safaris was excellent. Great service as well as good value for the overall cost. Would definitely recommend Camptrek to anyone looking for a Safari adventure in the Kenya/Tanzania region.

Safari with Camptrek - Amboseli and Tsavo
We were looking for an ethical and eco-friendly safari and found Camptrek. The team was professional, really patient with all our requests and took good care of us throughout. Rose was in regular contact to organise all the details from our preferences to budget and booked us in a fantastic eco-lodges (especially Oleipo in Amboseli!). Communication was regular and the team is very reactive. Even John, the owner, was available to help us resolve a payment issue we had and also organised a refund for the Italian speaking guide we had initially booked (at extra cost), which was unavailable in the end since we booked the safari last minute for high season.
If I can advise you on a guide, ask for Last! He was incredibly knowledgeable, respectful of wildlife (unlike other guides who drove too close or left engines), and a very safe driver. He has real talent for spotting animals in the bush and understanding their behaviour. He definitively made the trip for us, we learnt so much and saw so many animals (big and small) and go many amazing photos even at a distance!

Perfection in every aspect of a Safari.
Camp trek Safaris are very honest, knowledgeable, experienced and a delight to be with.
Our safety was number one on their list. The communication was excellent in both directions.
The drivers were totally taking care of us in comfort, WiFi, animals knowledge and timely in picking us up and getting us all to the National Parks as scheduled.

Good communication and nice driver/guide.
I've done 1 day trip with Camptrek to Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha. The communication with the office was with Rose and she was always answering my questions (I ask a lot) politely and on time. My guide was Paul and he is a very nice person to have around, polite, respectful and very good driver and guide. I am a women travelling by myself and I felt safe at all time. I highly recommend Camptrek. Thank you Rose and Paul !

There is still room for improvement
The driver and tour guide Brandon is amazing. Follow the national parks rules and respect the nature. He is a mature and thoughtful young blood.

For the agency, I would suggest Camptrek that DO NOT arrange any AA LODGE Group accommodation in to itinerary. The shower heater is sucks really.

The team at the Tour Company were very professional in all my dealings with them.
Tour information sharing was timely and all my questions were promptly addressed.

Great communication in coordinating our tour with Rose, even better guide Geoffrey
Rose (our travel coordinator) was very responsive and communicative from the beginning when we started planning our trip, which I really appreciate
Geoffrey (our safari guide) did a wonderful job ensuring that my friend and I are comfortable throughout our tour, and made sure to ask what start time we are comfortable with for the following day every evening. He is an excellent and highly skilled driver who is quick witted—he had kindly offered help to another safari guide (after getting our agreement of course), who had found himself stranded as his vehicle was stuck in mud. In the course of assistance, our vehicle had gotten stuck too but instead of giving up Geoffrey then walked to the nearest tree to get some dried twigs and leaves to help maneuver our vehicle out of the mud, which he successfully did in due course! This incident also spoke to Geoffrey’s character as he offered help with no hesitation.
Most importantly, Geoffrey’s eagle eyed vision has helped us encounter so many animals during our tour! This is such a crucial aspect of one’s safari tour, and the skills of a guide can vary greatly — in this case we really lucked out!
Accommodations arranged by Camptrek was fine — but our first stop at Eliata Bush Camp could have been arranged better by offering my friend and I separate rooms, or a family room, for example, given that the room was quite small and it wasn’t the most comfortable to have 2 people and 2 luggages in the room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Enkorok Mara Camp, which was a luxury camping experience. The other 2 accommodations we had were fine — comfortable enough stays in hotels. All accommodations served excellent meals and we met very kind and hospitable staff everywhere, which is something I really appreciate in Kenya!
Overall, I’m happy with the safari for the price paid!
