Very helpful and supporting, made sure we felt comfortable at all times
The safari was an amazing experience! We saw so many animals up close, and the whole trip felt both exciting and comfortable. The operator made sure everything went smoothly. Truly a trip to remember—I would highly recommend it!

Considerate, professional, knowledgeable, very able and kind.
It was a pleasure and fun to spend time with our guide Jackson. As stated above he was very considerate, professional, knowledgeable and looked after us extremely well. We saw lots of wildlife close-up without mad races here and there and sensitively. We couldn't have asked for or expected more, fantastic.

Fantastic safari experience
My dad and I went on a three day safari with African Chitah in May and I can only recommend them. We visited Tarangire, then Serengeti and then Ngorongoro National Parks. Ngorongoro park especially was absolutely stunning. It was a fantastic experience! We saw lions and cubs, cheetahs and cubs, buffaloes, wildebeest starting their migrations, hippos, giraffes close up, a leopard, crocodiles, lilac-breasted rollers, warthogs, jackals, hyenas, countless impalas, majestic elephants, even the evasive rhinos and so many more. Midian was very accommodating and flexible to all our requests while planning the safari, allowing us to tailor it to our liking and replied very promptly. Our guide Jackson was an absolute professional. He drove safely and spotted animals from miles away and was very knowledgeable and respectful of the animals. The safari car was very comfortable with plenty of drinks and even a fridge. We had a tire puncture in the park (can happen time to time due to the terrain), but Jackson and the other guides, who he is very friendly with, managed to fix it very speedily. Most days we also had a proper cooked lunch which was delicious (most other tourists we saw only had packed lunches). We're very grateful for such a fantastic experience!

Luca was a very knowledgeable guide that was dedicated to find all the things we wanted to see
Our safari trip consisted of 3 days, where we visited Serengeti and Ngorogoro Crater. We had a small delay in the beginning of the trip due to the airline, but Midiam and his team did everything possible to get us to our final destination without any more delays. Our guide, Luca, was affected by this but he did his best in order to show us as much as possible of the Serengeti. With a mix of his experience, knowledge and luck, we were able to have the most unforgettable safari in only 3 days.

Incredible!
Thank you so much for organising the last two days for us, it really was a trip of a life time. Daniel was great - very accommodating to our groups needs. A trip to remember! For the 2 day safari the food and accommodation was great as well.

Great experience from start to finish
What a great trip! We were a family of 4 doing a private safari over 3 days to the Serengeti and to/around the Ngorongoro crater.
All discussions were arranged a few months beforehand very easily via WhatsApp - I specified my requirements and with a bit of back and forth we came up with a few ideas before deciding on a final itinerary that matched our budget. It was very easy to arrange and Midian was very responsive. I spoke to 4 different companies and African Chitah came up with the best price for the same itinerary. We paid a deposit via a secure link that was sent over, the rest can be paid in cash or via the same link prior to starting the safari.
Our driver, Papa, was great! He was very warm, welcoming and knowledgable. We felt very safe in his hands and trusted him as our driver. It’s also nice to know he was previously a car mechanic for a long time incase we encountered any problems - there were a few jeeps on our trip we saw that had minor problems that needed to be fixed along the way.
The jeep was comfortable, spacious and had everything you could need including a small refrigerator, usb and plug power points, WiFi. It was cleaned every day, both inside and out, by Papa after we had been dropped off to our accommodation as it gets quite dusty. This meant we always had a clear view out of the windows each day.
There were plenty of toilet and picnic stops along the way. All the food provided was delicious, we had one vegan in our group and she was sufficiently catered for.
We all thoroughly enjoyed our time on safari and would 100000% book with African Chitah again.

Great safari, would highly recommend
I travelled with African Chitah for a 4 day safari in July 2025 (Tarangire, Serengenti, Ngorongoro) - I was pleased that they came up with an option for me to do a 4-day safari as other companies I spoke with said it was too short so suggested I did minimum 5 days. As much as it would be great to do an extra day in the Serengeti, 4 days is still very much doable and I'm glad I opted for that! Just bear in mind that there are long drives but I think that would be the case even if you booked more days as you'd just go further into the Serengeti. It did mean we just missed the Great Migration in Central Serengeti though so bear that in mind if you do this in July.
Otherwise, I absolutely loved every single location on the safari, I got to see all the big 5 (including 40 lions on one day in the Serengeti!) and lots of other animals. The tour guides we had were also fabulous, always very helpful but greatly informative and friendly - they definitely helped make the trip!
I did a group safari and I was lucky enough to have a great group so it was really fun. The only downside is that we all tended to stay at different accommodation so this meant time for pick up and drop off each morning and evening. That being said, the positive is that you get to stay in the kind of accommodation you opted for and means the safari companies get to put different people together for the group safaris.
The accommodation was all great with all staff being very friendly and food being great if not really good! The lunches during the day on safari were also really good.
Finally, I liaised with Midian during the whole booking experience and throughout the safari when discussing transfers etc. Midian was always helpful and responsive. I really liked that the transfers were all included so I felt well looked after and safe travelling alone.
I really recommend African Chitah and would definitely travel with them again!

A highly professional agency that made our trip seamless and memorable.
We had an absolutely wonderful experience with this travel agency. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. Midian, our trip coordinator, arranged the entire journey with great care — everything was safe, reliable, and managed with genuine responsibility.
Our guide Papa was another highlight of the trip. He accompanied us throughout, impressing us with his deep knowledge, friendly and enthusiastic nature, and incredibly sharp eyesight that helped us spot countless animals we might have otherwise missed. Papa is also remarkably strong and efficient, always handling tasks quickly and safely, which made us feel very secure along the way.
This was our first time visiting Africa, but it certainly won’t be our last. From the end of June to early July, the weather was pleasantly cool. We’ve heard that the great migration usually peaks around mid-July — a perfect reason to return. Throughout our travels, we could clearly see the benefits of a well-established tourism system, refined through many years of experience. It made everything run seamlessly and ensured highly professional, mature services.
We were also delighted by the quality of facilities and hospitality. The restrooms at attractions were generally very clean, the local food was delicious and full of character, and hotel staff everywhere were warm and welcoming. The hotels themselves were spacious, spotless, and offered excellent comfort.
All in all, it was a fantastic journey with many memorable moments. We are truly grateful for such a wonderful experience — thank you!
