Unforgettable experience
This was our first ever Safari and African Chitah, and specifically our guide Papa, made it an experience none of us will ever forget. Getting to see the Big 6 (Big 5 + Cheetah) up close in their natural environment was like nothing else. Papa's knowledge and expertise in helping guide us through all the parks we visited and ensuring we saw as much as we did was invaluable. The Safari Jeep we had was comfy and completely reliable and kept us safe throughout our more than 10 days. The lodges and camps chosen for us by African Chitah were a wonderful mix of luxury (Kitela Lodge) and really getting us close to the animals (Heritage Mara Camp). We had an Elephant wander through out camp in the Serengeti, we saw a family of 6 Cheetah begin a hunt, we got to see large family groups of Elephants, lion families and 2 black Rhino just a few metres away plus so much more.
I cannot recommend African Chitah enough - a small local team, with deep knowledge of the area and parks, an itinerary that gave us so many varied experiences beyond just the safari, and a responsiveness and personal touch that was beyond expectation. Worth every bumpy road for memories that will never leave us!

They were very kind and willing to meet all our needs
We couldn't hope for a better tour operator. They were so helpful and willing to meet all our needs since the first contact. They supported us creating a perfect tour for us and giving us a perfect picture of the tour. They thought about everything so we can enjoy our trip. Our guide was so prepared and fun, so the trip was even better.
In our last day we had a lot of free time and asked to them if there was a guide available to take us on a city tour to spend our spare time. There was no problem and our tour was immediately organized.

Very professional well organised and super friendly
Our family of three children (16, 14, and 11) thoroughly enjoyed two days on the safari through Western and Central Serengeti. Our guide, Richard, had an incredible amount of knowledge about the area and the animals. We were lucky enough to see the cheetah and the leopard, the elephants showering themselves with water and sand, and the lioness with her cubs. (And ofcourse all the other beautifal animals). Besides being very professional, Richard was also incredibly friendly. It was truly wonderful to spend these two days with him. In addition, he was very flexible. On his advice, we deliberately left at 6:00 on the first morning, although he wanted to guide us until 18:00. We chose to have a lunch break at our campsite, at which point Richard suggested continuing the safari in the afternoon. The next day, at our request, we left at 8:30 and were able to enjoy all the beauty the Serengeti has to offer until 16:00.

My experience was very well worth what I paid for. I think I received, in terms of service, accommodation and Safari coverage so much more for what I paid for. African Chitah was very accommodating to all our needs. Our tour guides were hardworking, knowledgeable and they tried to show us as much as they could. They’re the best! I recommend them highly!

Above and beyond every step of the way!!!
I had an incredible experience with African Chitah and can’t recommend them enough. Midian did an outstanding job planning and managing every detail of the trip, and his support throughout made the entire journey smooth and stress-free. He was also a pleasure to work with from start to finish.
What truly stood out was his responsiveness and dedication when unexpected situations came up. When one of our travelers accidentally left an iPad behind at a hotel in the Western Serengeti—the furthest point of our trip—Midian immediately took charge, coordinating with the hotel and arranging for it to be flown back to Arusha in time for us to retrieve it before our departure that same evening. That level of care and follow-through is rare and deeply appreciated.
He also quickly resolved an issue we had with one of the accommodations, handling it efficiently and without any disruption to our trip.
Our guides, Jackson and Papa, were fantastic—knowledgeable, engaging, and incredibly skilled. Jackson’s ability to spot animals was especially impressive and made every game drive exciting.
Overall, this was a seamless, memorable experience thanks to Midian and his team. I would absolutely travel with African Chitah again and would have no hesitation recommending him to family and friends.

Everything is taken care of from start to finish.
This was our family’s first time going on a safari tour. Our guide, Kelvin, was perfect! There was always plenty of food and drink in the car. For lunch, we always stopped at a beautiful spot and had warm, delicious food with us. The safari tour was amazing! Kelvin always listened to our requests and made everything possible for us. He went out of his way to find as many of the animals we wanted to see as possible. He told us all sorts of things about the animals in English. Plus, we always felt safe with him in the car. No road was too risky for him. We would definitely do the tour again exactly the same way.

It was very great experience
We came to Tanzania from South Korea for a special honeymoon. Before arriving, we reached out to many different agencies, and none were as kind and quick to respond as Cheetah Company.
​Once we arrived in Tanzania, we were paired with our safari guide, Richard. He was incredibly friendly and such a skilled driver that we managed to spot all of the 'Big Five' in Ngorongoro and Serengeti in just one day!
​Everything went perfectly—all the accommodations were exactly as promised during booking without any unexpected changes. If any of our friends want to travel to Tanzania, we will absolutely recommend Cheetah Company.

Fantastic safari and service!
Fantastic safari for four days 18-21 Januari (2026) arranged by Midian and with Luka as excellent guide and driver. Midian went above and beyond in his communication leading up to the trip (we booked ourselves with them a few months prior) but also meeting us for a briefing before as well as checking with us afterwards that we were satisfied. Luka took us in a Toyota Land Cruiser with pop-up roof around Serengeti, Nduto and the Ngorongoro crater. We saw all of the big five, and some 40 other animals and birds and Luka told us all about them and was extremely patient with the 1000+ questions we asked him. 🤣 He was fantastic at spotting animals and sharing information and entertaining stories. We stayed in really good tent camps and a hotel with swimming pool the last night. The food and hospitality of hotel staff left nothing more to wish for. Everything was as described by Midian or better, highly recommended! Six of five stars!
