Ozon light tours is legit
Ozon Light Tours offers immersive travel experiences that showcase the natural beauty and cultural richness of destinations while promoting sustainability and eco-friendly practices. Furthermore, my guide, Peter, was very knowledgeable about the animals and how to get to them. Another bonus is that he is an excellent photographer.

Ozon is a well-organized tour operator with a highly competent team.
First off: If you're unsure whether Tanzania is the right country for you: The country, nature, and people are simply amazing!
We (two couples) took the classic Tanzania trip from the end of October to mid-November 2025: Mountains, Safari, Zanzibar.
We worked with Ozon Light on-site and were extremely satisfied!
We booked some things ourselves:
- Flights
- Hotel for the stay between activities (Tanzania Safari Lodge: not cheap, but highly recommended)
- Flight Serengeti Seromera -> Zanzibar
- Hotel in Zanzibar (Shooting Star in Kiwengwa -> excellent, see separate review)
We had Ozon Light organize everything else as a complete package:
- Mount Meru (4 days)
- Kilimanjaro (Machame Route) (6 days)
-> Porter, guide, cook: They provided incredible service, including excellent food.
... Nevertheless, we were somewhat annoyed that the 'tips' (gratuities for the crew) were essentially fixed ($30 for guides, $20 for junior guides, $15 for cook and service porter, $10 for porter, each per day).
They certainly deserved it!
BUT: on top of that, there are almost $500 for Mount Meru and almost $1000 for Kilimanjaro (for four people, Machame Route with tents, 12 porters). This wasn't communicated. It's standard practice, but an add-on that needs to be factored in. (The other providers didn't mention this either, so no star deduction)
- Safari (Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Central Serengeti (Tukaone Camp: A unique experience. Elephants roam around the camp at night)
Everything went perfectly. For the safari, it's best to ask for guide "Denis" .
He's incredibly knowledgeable and very friendly (he knows pretty much all the animals and plants).
Ozone very flexibly incorporated our wishes and our own bookings into a professional program. We were a little apprehensive about transferring so much money in advance to a local provider in Tanzania. But our concerns were unfounded.
The price/performance ratio was very good.
All the staff were top punctual and dedicated.
General: At the end of October, the animal density in the Central Serengeti is incredible. However, there's absolutely nothing going on at the Maru River. Be sure to do your research and get advice from Ozon.
The same applies to the mountains: In November, you can easily experience three days of heavy rain on Kilimanjaro (that's what happened to us). So late in the year Perhaps the Marangu Route (with huts) is preferable. According to the guide, August/September would be better for Machame with camping (Hindsight is 20/20).
Again, get advice from Ozon.
Mosquitoes were practically nonexistent. Note: For the guides, porters, etc., it's a relatively well-paid job. So don't be ashamed to accept service.

Great experience
Booked ozon light from a website and couldn’t be happier. Both guides (Dennis and Elijah, the training guide) were super knowledgeable and managed to show us all big five, beauty five, ugly five and several other animals.
I’d seriously consider booking the same company for another tour.

One stop shop for the BEST travel experience.
Trying to book a trip halfway around the world is a daunting process-but Ozon Light Tours took care of everything and made it so easy! I started by asking about one of to stock trip itineraries and from there they tailored it to perfectly fit my days, budget, and goals. Yohana helped us to book everything and was so responsive with all of our questions. Then when our flights getting in were delayed, he was able to move everything around so that we didn't have to miss a minute. Airport pickups and dropoffs were smooth and simple-and all of our accommodations were wonderful.
Our safari guide, Innocent, was with us for all 4 days of our trip and we were so lucky to have him! Extremely knowledgeable, kind and fun to be around. We learned so much about both the wildlife and culture of Tanzania through him. 10000% would request to have him as a guide again. When complications on the trip came up (outside of the tours control) Innocent was able to help us with all adjustments. We felt very safe and taken care of the entire time.
Book with this tour company! You won't regret it.

Smooth, Seamless, and Perfectly Planned Experience
From the start, they impressed us with their quick replies. The tour was planned exactly how we wanted. They were flexible and changed program per our request, something other companies refused to do.
The price and value were excellent. Our guide, Dennis, was the best! He understood our vibe perfectly — we laughed a lot and had so much fun. And we always had plenty of time to watch the animals. We never felt tired, just excited all the time. We saw many animals, including all of them from Big 5 and some from small and beautiful 5. Thanks to Dennis, we also learned about many birds in Tanzania!
He drove safely, always made sure we had our favorite drinks, and there was always lots of food. We saw many beautiful sunsets too. Everything was on time.
The tour was amazing and went by too fast!

Amazing Tanzanian Adventure organized by Ozon Light Tour
Wonderfull trip across Zanzibar and Tanzania organized by Ozone Light Tour.
Our tour was designed by Letson, a great person, very attentive to all our wishes.
We started in Zanzibar for a couple of days and continued our adventure inland with a Safari tour. It started in Tarangire National Parc, a nice little parc to start with, although very busy during this tourism peak season.
The adventure continued through lake Natron and the majestic Ol Doinyo Lengaï, the sacred Masaï mountain. It was one the highlights of our trip, with the walk to the Ngaressero water fall and Lake Natron shore accompanied by our local guide Medimuni, who I highly recommend for his kindness and knowledge of the area.
We then travelled across the amazing Serengeti from North , where we could observe the great migration through the Mara river, till its Southern part. The Safari through Serengeti was a wonderful experience for animals spotting, thanks to Jackson our driver and guide during the tour, who was always keen to follow the best leads to find the animals though out this vast parc.
We then drove to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and ended up the tour in Arusha, where we went to visit the Ozon Light Tour office, where we met a wonderful team of Tanzanian people, dedicated to the organisation of great quality tours for tourists.
All along the trip, the choice of hotels was amazing, with always great accommodation standards, great views, good food and friendly staffs. The guide Jackson and his confortable Toyota Land Cruiser, an all-terrain vehicle specially designed for Safaris, was a great company during those days spent together. We highly recommend this local tour company for organizing your tour in this beautiful country!

Amazing safari
We had an amazing experience with Ozon Light! From the planification with Letson to the safari itself, everything went perfectly. The communication was clear, the organization was great, and they really made sure we had the best experience possible.
Our guide Denis was fantastic, super friendly, funny, and very knowledgeable. He made every part of the trip fun and memorable.
We saw so many animals and had such a wonderful time. Honestly, everything exceeded our expectations.

They made our honeymoon unforgettable!
From the very beginning Ozon Light exuded professionalism and value. We chose Ozon because of their reviews and their presentation on their quotes to us for our Safari. They communicated well and had all of our transfers scheduled perfectly and everyone was on time. The stays they booked for us were five star! The rooms, the food, the service all excellent. They even arranged with all the stays to have our rooms decorated for our honeymoon. Very thoughtful touch. The safari vehicle was well maintained and clean every day. The highlight of the trip was our guide, Albert. He was friendly, attentive, prompt, accommodating, and very knowledgeable. We were able to hit the big 5 animals, along with so many others. We got some amazing one on one time with several animals with not another vehicle in sight. He made our trip truly memorable and i would recommend a safari with him in a heartbeat!

COULDNT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY MORE! We had a dream trip from start to finish. My sister and I started in Zanzibar and then went onto do a 4 day safari in Tanzania. Our tour guide Peter was amazing. Ready, steady, go!
6 days Safari among Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and lake Manyara with Ozon Light was smooth and easy to.plan with Deus.
Thanks to Diclack, our espert guide and driver, we have seen all Big 5. He is a very skilled driver and allowed us to be in the right place at the right moment!
Top experiences: pack of lions eating a buffalo and leopard crossing the road in Serengeti and lioness walking close to the picnic area in Ngorongoro crater.
Everything was well organized and best place we have overnight was the Kon Tiki lodge.
We had a very nice Safari and we do recommend without hesitation, Ozon Light and Diclack🤩
