Super reliable, created a tailor made plan with an amazing guide. Reccomend!
Great safari, we were a couple we had four days Safari with Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorogoro Crater and on the fourth day we had a trip to Materuni waterfall and coffee plantation. I would suggest sticking to Serengeti and Ngorogoro if you are short on time but if you have a bit more time than this is a perfect plan. Our guide Richard was amazing. He was a super good driver. He knew all about the animal, spoke very good English also spoke other languages,was very friendly, flexible, knew a lot of facts and was very experienced ,knew all the spots where the animals are and knew all the guides so he was a real expert- really recommend! Amazing experience, beautiful accommodations- especially the Serengeti Heaven Lodge. Really recommend, you cannot go wrong with a AKONDO

Truly Amazing Experience
We had the most amazing experience with Akondo Adventures from start to finish. Everything was organised seamlessly, including our 3-day, 2-night safari, and the attention to detail throughout was exceptional.
The safari itself exceeded every expectation. From flying into the reserve on a small plane to staying in a beautiful, peaceful lodge, the whole experience felt exclusive and completely non-touristy. At times it genuinely felt like we were the only people there.
The wildlife was extraordinary. We saw so many animals, including lions, giraffes and elephants, often at very close range, and never felt rushed or surrounded by other vehicles. Every game drive felt thoughtful, calm and incredibly special.
Akondo Adventures truly understands how to create an authentic safari experience rather than a mass-market one. It was beautifully curated, personal and unforgettable from beginning to end. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and would absolutely use them again.

Amazing safari experience
Our safari with Akondo was exceptional from start to finish. Everything was perfectly organized, from the private driver pick-up in Zanzibar to the flights, safari experience, and return transfer.
The guiding was excellent and the lodge selection was simply outstanding (Nyota Luxury Camp and Manyara Best View Lodge were both incredible). The cost is on the higher side, but the overall experience was truly premium and absolutely worth it. We were extremely satisfied and would highly recommend Akondo.

Amazing experience
was an absolutely fantastic experience. Laurian accompanied us from start to finish, planning each day together with us and always suggesting the best possible itinerary. All the lodges were wonderful, and the parks were truly unique.
We spent five days that felt like one big family, which made the experience even more special. Laurian is an extremely intelligent, friendly, and empathetic person. He explained everything we saw with great passion, always teaching us something new along the way.

The best tour operator
Akondo tailored our safari exactly to our wishes. Everything before the trip was so smooth, and our guide Richard was absolutely incredible. He taught us so much about the animals and helped us find all the animals we wanted to see.
The price was lower than competitors for exactly the same safari. The accommodation at the lodge was excellent with good food and friendly staff.

EXCELLENT!
We chose Akondo Adventures for our honeymoon and it was a great choice. From the very beginning, Boris made sure we had an itinerary tailored to our needs. Then Richard became our guide and he was excellent! We're so happy because Richard made sure we saw the Big Five! Plus, my dream was to see lion cubs and a baby elephant, and we did it thanks to him! He explained everything to us; our English isn't very good, but he spoke Spanish and we were able to communicate very well. He even taught us some Swahili words! We 100% recommend Akondo. They also helped us book the hot air balloon safari, which is a truly unique experience!

But what really has made our safari exceptional was our guide and now also friend, Dave!
He is the best, kindest, coolest and funniest guide we could ever have hoped for.
Furthermore, his 17 years safari experienced ensured us a lot of rare and incredible moments during our game drive!!
Dave’s knowledge, energy and warm personality turned every game drive into an adventure we’ll never forget.
