Great Safari Experience
My wife and I booked two separate 3 day/2 night Safari’s through Beacon Safaris.
The first Safari was a drive in from Nairobi to Amboseli with our guide, Carlos. Carlos was an excellent driver who seamlessly navigated the park and communicated with other guides to maximize the number and variety of animals we observed within the park. He was also very knowledgeable about the animals and their habits.
Although the roads in Amboseli are quite rough and dusty, we found the experience to be well worth it.
We flew in to our second safari from Nairobi to the Maasi Mara, and were met by our guide, Alex. Alex was also an excellent guide, university, educated in animal tourism, and was very adapted finding the animals which was a bit more challenging than on our previous Safari. We ended up seeing four of the big five as well as the beginning of the great migration of animals coming from Serengeti to the Massi Mara.
We highly recommend Beacon Safaris in their guides as they were competent, knowledgeable, prompt, and very friendly.

An unforgettable adventure - our tailored safari & birdwatching tour was simply fantastic
This was my second trip with Beacon Safaris, this time with my sister and a friend. Communication was easy and Robert had tailored the 8-day-program according to our wishes: from Nairobi to Naivasha, Nakuru, Kakagamega Forest and Masai Mara, including birdwatching. Our guide Alex was amazing! You cannot wish for a better companion on a safari. He is super friendly and knowledgable and was always happy to answer our questions. Alex knows his birds and mammals very well and would always stop and point out animals to us. We easily spotted the Big Five in a week and also well over a hundred bird species. Kakamega Forest is a wonderful place for birding and a local birding guide took us on several walks to see incredible birds such as the Blue Turaco and many more. All our accommodations were really nice, with Mtito Camp and Rondo Retreat sticking out as truly unique. Beautiful locations and very friendly, committed staff. Obviously a tailored safari has its price but the amazing week we spent watching Kenya's marvellous wild- and birdlife with Alex was worth every cent and much more. We will cherish it for the rest of our lives. I can only recommend Beacon Safaris to everyone looking for a perfectly organised safari with a brilliant guide.

A Seamless, Spectacular Safari That Surpassed Every Expectation
We are a group of seven ladies who recently completed a tour with Beacon Safari, travelling through the Great Mara, the Mara River, the Mara Triangle overlooking the Serengeti, and onward to Lake Naivasha for a boat and walking safari. From start to finish, this trip surpassed every expectation in every possible way.
Our guide, Alex, was exceptional throughout. He was consistently informative, polite, and attentive, ensuring every detail of our experience was thoughtfully managed. His deep knowledge of the region meant he always knew the best times and the best places to take us, giving us the flexibility to see all the wildlife we hoped for — lions, elephants, rhino, giraffe, zebra, hippo, buffalo, cheetah, and a beautiful variety of antelope, all up close. These unforgettable moments were possible because Alex understands the land and its rhythms with remarkable skill.
The truck was extremely comfortable, making long days in the bush enjoyable and relaxed. The accommodation arranged by Beacon Safari was equally impressive: Sopa Lodge Masai Mara and Sopa Lodge Lake Nakuru were excellent, offering comfort, great service, and stunning views that added so much to the overall experience.
Beacon Safari’s communication was outstanding from beginning to end. Every question was answered promptly, every request handled with care, and every detail organised flawlessly. The company’s attention to detail was evident in every part of the journey — from logistics, to timing, to ensuring we were always comfortable, safe, and well looked after.
Alex himself kept the truck spotlessly clean, took immense pride in his work, and brought warmth and humour to each day. His professionalism, kindness, and patience made us feel completely supported throughout the trip. It is rare to encounter someone who blends expertise and genuine care so seamlessly.
Beacon Safari delivered a safari that was not only memorable, but truly exceptional. The combination of superb guiding, comfortable transport, excellent lodges, flexible planning, and meticulous attention to detail created an experience we will treasure for a lifetime.

Very reliable and professional communication, skilled driver/guide and good vehicles. Value/money good as well. Our guide Karlos really took an effort showing us Massai Mara and Nakuru, and did not make big problem since we were late every day in the morning :)

Beacon Safaris provided us an Amazing trip...Start to finish
From the Arrival to departure Beacon provided all we needed for a most wonderful trip. Ms. Winnie in the office took care of everything from our pickup at our arrival flight, flight between the 2 Parks to booking us a hotel for our last night. She is a great communicator and there was nothing we didnt know about before hand. We were picked up from the airport and our Guide Harun drove us to Amboseli to our accommodations. He was great and took us through Amboseli Park. He was great! The truck was clean and comfortable, he knew where the various wildlife were and we saw 9 Cheetahs during that time aside from many other creatures! We then had a flight to Masai Mara where our Guide Carlos picked us up. He made us feel very comfortable as we toured the Park. It is an incredible place. The wildlife was beautiful from the Lions to a Leopard..the Leopard we saw the very last day sitting in a tree and Carlos found that spot! Carlos is awesome guide! We could not have been in better hands. This was our 50th Anniversary and all those at Beacon made us feel very welcome! Everything was well arranged. The trip was awesome and worth every dollar! we can't thank them enough for this unforgettable adventure!!!!!!

Unforgettable Safari Experience - 10/10 with Beacon Safaris
We had a 💯 experience with Beacon Safaris from start to finish.
The booking process was smooth and personal. Elaine took time to understand our needs and tailored our itinerary perfectly. Our tour guide, Carlos, was absolutely amazing. He made the trip exciting, adventurous, and unforgettable.
The wildlife encounters were mind-blowing. We had front-row views of a lioness and her cubs, lions mating, elephants up close, rhinos, leopards, cheetahs, and buffalo in their herds. We also got to see the Big 5 across Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, and Hell’s Gate National Park.
Beacon Safaris made our stay in Kenya truly beautiful. It was an awesome experience for my wife and me, and one we’ll always cherish. I highly recommend Beacon Safaris for anyone looking for an enriching and well-organized safari.

Highly recommended! Fantastic journey and memorable experience!
This was the first time me and my husband have been to Kenya. We had an amazing 8-days safari with Beacon Safari and our guide Carlos, this journey really worthy and everything was so great. We had travelled several different countries and places, but this trip could list in top 1.
Before the trip, I was little bit worried, due to my preparation time not so enough. I searched on internet and saw different comments. But when Robert gave me the email feedback and gave me the advices based on my thoughts to share the Safari proposal, I believe this is the company I should choose.
I especially want to thank you our guide, Carlos. He is friendly, open mind, considerable. He kept explaining us all the animals related knowledge, and trying to catch all animals that make sure we won't miss anything. Even during the last day, he made it happened that let us saw the Leopard. We didn't expect could see as many animals as we can, because this journey not only about the animals, also about the sights, the culture, the experience of life. Thanks his dedication, appreciated. We had a so exciting trip. For sure, our families and friends, if anyone further will go to Kenya Safari, I will recommend Beacon and Carlos.

You Can't go wrong with Beacon Safaris!!
We returned from our safari a couple of weeks ago and it is still all we can talk about!! 5 STARS ALL THE WAY!!! The booking and quotes went very smoothly. Winfred was very patient with my changes and questions. She was also very prompt about replying to any questions as we waited for our Safari day to arrive. We did have a flight cancelled and we ended up arriving in Nairobi at day late at 1am!! Robert was so helpful and understanding. He told us our guide would be there at 1am and get us caught up on the safari day that we missed.
Alex was there right on time waiting for us! We set out and our AMAZING adventure began! Each experience that we had got better and better! We saw lions the first day! The accommodations that Beacon set up for us were great! Wonderful food, wonderful service and great rooms!!
The best part of the trip? Our guide Alex!! I can not imagine there is a better guide out there! He made sure we saw so many animals and was so patient when I wanted to take my 5000th picture of a giraffe! He was so knowledgeable and gave us information about everything we saw! He also set up special celebrations each night for our 25th wedding anniversary! Best part about Alex? The huge smile on his face when something wonderful happened for us, which was every day!

Very experienced guide!
Carlos was an amazing, highly skilled guide. He predicted the next moves of wild animals and positioned his car so that we could watch them cross the roads, eat bushes and hunt right in front of us. The accommodations were terrific with breathtaking views and delicious cuisines. Highly recommend this agent.
