A Safari We’ll Never Forget 🦁🌍
Some trips give you photographs. Some give you stories. And then there are trips that give you moments you know you’ll carry with you forever.
Our Kenya journey with Axis Safari was exactly that.
From the vast landscapes of Masai Mara to the beauty of Nakuru and Naivasha, we witnessed wildlife in its most extraordinary form — raw, untamed and completely on its own terms. Every game drive brought a new surprise, and every sighting reminded us how incredible it is to experience nature this close.
But what truly made the trip special were the people behind it.
A very special shoutout to Yasin, our big brother, who was with us throughout the journey. More than just an experienced guide, he became our companion through the trip. He made sure we were comfortable, looked after every little requirement and, most importantly, made us feel at home. His knowledge, patience and passion for the wild made every game drive that much more memorable. Beyond a traditional guide he helped us with the day to day affairs & ensured we have the best if times.
And then there was Patrick — our guide for a one-day private safari in Masai Mara. Choosing to do that private tour was probably one of the best decisions we made. Patrick took us deep into the core of Masai Mara, knew exactly where to look and somehow managed to help us witness the Big Five in a single day. An unforgettable experience, made even better by his expertise and enthusiasm.
A big thank you to Winnie as well, who patiently answered all our questions before and during the trip. No matter how many queries we had, she was always there with a response and made the entire planning process incredibly smooth. She was ever available & helped us curating this itinerary so well.

John Mwangi was a very kind and knowledgable and is also a fantastic driver!
Went on this tour with my family, the service was very smooth and our tour guide John Mwangi was very reliable, always on time, was very fun to be around, and took us on a great adventure. He was great on the game drive and was quick to take us to the coolest with even some rare animal sightings such as the leopard hiding in the tree:)

Great last minute tour!
We had an amazing experience with Axis Africa from start to finish. This was actually a last-minute trip that we booked only one week in advance, but Lucy handled everything incredibly quickly and smoothly. She was responsive, organized, and managed to put the whole trip together without any stress.
Our guide, Jumbe, was fantastic. He was professional, knowledgeable, fun to be around, and an excellent driver and game driver. He knew the parks extremely well and always seemed to know where to go and when to be patient. Having someone who genuinely enjoys what he does made the safari even more enjoyable.
Everything was well organized, from the transfers and accommodations to the game drives, and we always felt well taken care of. The whole trip felt effortless, allowing us to simply enjoy the wildlife and scenery.
A big thank you to Lucy, Jumbe, and the entire Axis Africa team for making this such a memorable trip. I would definitely recommend them to anyone planning a safari in Africa, and I would happily travel with them again! 🐘🦁🦒

Fantastic Trip!
1. Our tour guide-<Peter kapino >is so thoughtful, hilarious and skillful. Tour us to see all the Big five and every day we have nice mood.
2.The trip is not too much hurry, all itineraries we have been arranged are perfect, not too much hurry.
3.Stuffs are so so kind and helpful also arranged my pick up in the first day!
4. The tour friends also nice! I met a lot of friends from different countries.

Peter is fun & extremely knowledgeable about Maasai Mara and every nook & corner of it
I had an awesome 5-day tour with Axis Africa for Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Lake Naivasha. Peter Kapino, who was our tour guide, was very warm, hospitable, and extremely knowledgeable about every nook and corner of Maasai Mara. He ensured that we could spot all the important animals easily at the national reserve. He also is well-known & respectable in the community of tour guides, because of which, when our vehicle broke down for a while when we wereon our way to Maasai Mara on Day 1, multiple tour guides came to help us.
While inside Maasai Mara, we could spot three out of five big five animals on Day 1 itself, even though we only had half a day of game drive. The second day of game drive was so refreshing, in which we could spot all the Big Five very easily because of Peter's expertise and great coordination with multiple tour guides. Peter is also very punctual, and he ensures that the group sticks to the time so that we get the most out of our tour. He is someone I would strongly recommend for your Maasai Mara adventure and trip. He is also very funny and jovial. He would keep the moment very lighthearted with his witty jokes. You will never have a dull moment with Peter. Peter, I'll miss you and look forward to doing my next game drive with you whenever I visit Maasai Mara next.
