Highly recommended!
Highly recommended 1-day safari tour!!
I can really recommend KIHINDO TOURS! From the beginning they provided very good communication and organisation. Pilly always answered my questions over Whattsapp within 2h.
The driver picked us up as agreed in the morning and took us to the train. After the train journey another driver Adam picked us up and drove us to Mikumi National park.
The guide Sam took over and we saw a lot of animals; elephants, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, leopard, crocodile, impalas, and warthogs. The safari lasted from 10-16 with a lunch break in between.
After the safari they took us back to the hotel again - very good organised! Highly recommended!

Everything was perfectly organized
The guides were always very attentive, clear in their explanations, and patient in showing us the animals and letting us take photos of them. The entire tour was a wonderful surprise, and I am very happy with the experience! It is well worth it! The guides' eagerness to help us discover the park and its wildlife is priceless.

Fantastic and perfectly organized adventure
We booked a three day Safari in Ruaha and we were truly taken care of. We were well assisted while booking and then we spent three wonderful days with great guides eager to share their knowledge and show us a lot of wildlife, great food and a beatiful accommodation.
Fantastic tour from the start to the end. Nuhu our tour guide was excellent, very knowledgable .
The tour is very well organised. It include pick up even a bit outside of Dar. The communication was great, and driver was very prompt on both sides. I would definitely recommend this tour, as it is a good value for money.

A surprise when booking the safari
Hello. We are a group of travelers who contacted Kihindo in late January to plan a safari for August. Everything was going well—good communication, a competitive price, and a flexible itinerary tailored to what we wanted to do during our 10-day trip through the southern parks. However, after spending months weighing our options and finally finalizing everything—including paying the deposit in late June—we received a message stating that a mistake had been made and the trip price would increase by nearly 50% over our original quote. They didn't provide a specific explanation for the error but insisted that the trip couldn't go ahead at the original price. We had to scramble for an alternative with very little time left before our vacation; fortunately, we found one at the same price Kihindo had originally quoted. It’s a shame, as we had come to them based on a recommendation from an acquaintance, and the communication and service had been excellent up to that point. They refunded our deposit without issue, and all their messages were very polite. I understand that there was likely a calculation error on their end, but it was quite stressful for us to find ourselves in late June without the trip we had been planning since January. I hope this doesn't happen to them again and that they take this feedback into account to improve this aspect of their service in the future. Regards.

Very good company with good price I definitely recommend
We did a 2-day/1-night safari in Nyerere National Park and honestly… what can I say? It was an experience we will never forget!
We absolutely fell in love with our guide, William. He taught us so much and was such a kind, attentive and caring person. I really recommend asking for William as your guide if you can, you definitely won’t regret it!
As for the safari itself… WOW! It was an incredible experience. We were lucky enough to see elephants, giraffes, lions, hyenas, hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, countless different species of birds, monkeys everywhere we looked, and so much more…
Honestly, just go for it! One of the biggest advantages of Nyerere is that it is such a huge park (the largest in Tanzania), so you can sometimes find yourself completely alone in the middle of nature, surrounded only by animals and the incredible peace and quiet. That really makes the experience even more special!
We had an intense full-day safari from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. On the second day, we woke up at dawn to go on a boat safari. We were lucky enough to watch the sunrise in the middle of the river, the largest river in East Africa. We were completely alone out there, with an amazing guide who was driving the boat. We got to see hippos, crocodiles and some absolutely beautiful birds. It was a wonderful experience!
After that, we headed back to Dar es Salaam, which was about a 4-hour drive. It was another great opportunity to immerse ourselves in the country, with breathtaking landscapes along the way.
And finally, a huge highlight for us was the lodge where we stayed: Mloka Safari Lodge. The place is incredible, the food was absolutely delicious, and the breakfast… honestly, I will never forget their pancakes! 😂
The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming and always smiling. Staying there was a real pleasure.
So honestly, GO FOR IT — you absolutely won’t regret it, I promise! And if you have the opportunity to have William as your guide, even better. His kindness, patience and genuine care made the whole experience even more incredible. ❤️

Informative, good craic, made the tour enjoyable and one to remember
We got the 1 day package, it was great value for money, including transfers, all day safari tour in which we seen all the animals that are here in mukimi national park, lunch was included in the package, we had an amazing tour guide Salonique who was very informative and made the experience one to remember.

An Unforgettable Safari Thanks to Michael
Our safari was absolutely perfect, and Michael made the experience truly unforgettable. He is an excellent guide: very professional, knowledgeable, kind, patient, and also very funny. Throughout the safari, he explained so much about every animal we saw and even used his wildlife book to show us more information and help us understand the animals better.
You can really see that Michael loves his job and knows the wildlife extremely well. He always took the time to answer our questions and made us feel comfortable throughout the whole experience. We honestly wished the safari could have lasted longer, especially because we enjoyed spending time with him so much.Thank you, Michael, for making our safari such a special memory.
