Beyond 5 stars! Unforgettable 6-day Uganda safari with Simon and Lulu Safaris
We spent an amazing 6 days in Uganda with Lulu Safaris and cannot recommend them highly enough. From day one, the communication and planning were flawless, and they tailored everything perfectly to our wishes. We would book with them again in a heartbeat!
A very special thank you goes to our incredible guide, Simon, who made this trip perfect. His warm, easygoing nature and flawless organization made us feel welcome from the start. He answered every question, sharing deep insights into local culture and wildlife. We especially loved sitting down with him after our activities like chimpanzee and gorilla treks or Community Tours to review the highlights and hear his personal stories.
If we could give more than 5 stars, we would! Thank you Simon for an unforgettable journey.

Exciting
We had a fantastic time on our safari with Brian as our guide! Uganda has so much to offer, from the mountains to the grasslands, we loved every second. Our guide, Brian, was very flexible and accommodating of our wants and needs during our safari. We were very happy with the lodging and the service was more than exemplary! I would 100% recommend Lulu safaris and Uganda to my friends and family.

Adventure
We did a 10 day safari through Uganda with Brian as our guide. It was a great time full of wildlife, beautiful scenery, and interesting culture. Of course the gorilla trekking was the highlight but we were surprised with how much we loved other parts of the itinerary like Golden Monkey trekking.
The safari van was comfortable for the long drives and be prepared for the bumpy roads of Uganda which add to the excitement of the trip. All the accommodations were great, as a group of 4 from the U.S. we weren't prepared for the level of attentiveness and service at each lodge.
Brian made our trip extra special with his knowledge of Uganda, the wildlife, and how to time excursion appropriately. He took some amazing photos of us as well as the animals on our trip that will be treasured. We felt lucky to have a guide like him and would recommend him to any friends or family coming to Uganda.

A fabulous adventure
We had a wonderful experience during our short trip to Rwanda and Uganda.
Our trip leader Bruce was excellent, right from the start he was waiting for us at the airport and spent the rest of our trip making sure we had an enjoyable experience. His knowledge of both countries was great, he was a safe driver over the many hours of travel we had and just overall a lovely person.
The itinerary was good however further information on expenses would be useful eg. Tipping information/standard costs for gorilla tour guide, trackers and porters etc. I would recommend doing some research before arriving, we were not expecting and hadn’t planned to tip trackers in the middle of the Bwindi national park.
Accommodation was good, clean and meals to a high quality. We especially loved the stay at Bweza before our gorilla trek.
I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this company to friends and family.

Simon was an amazing tour guide. Always full of interesting facts about wild life and always answered any questions we asked. When with Simon, don't even think about killing a tsetsefly because it's all part of the wild. 🤗. Anyway, Lulu safaris organized everything to the dot, and all we had to do was enjoy nature and ourselves. We also had children with us and their needs were catered for to the dot.

Murshison falls visit was the best experience ever. The game drives l, boat cruize and reaching the top of the falls left a lasting memory.

We had an even better experience than we could have imagined.
We booked our gorilla trekking experience in Uganda with Lulu Safari, including one night at a lodge. We booked the trip without seeing much information or many photos beforehand, so we didn’t really know what to expect. In the end, the experience was even better than we could have imagined.
Our tour guide, Bruce, was absolutely amazing. He guided us incredibly well, made sure we had everything we needed, and made the entire trip as smooth and enjoyable as possible. We truly didn’t feel like we were missing anything.
The gorilla trekking itself was very well organised, and we were lucky enough to see seven gorillas up close. It was an incredible and unforgettable day that we will always remember.
Everything was organised down to the smallest detail by Lulu Safari. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
