Tempo Africa – Terms & Conditions
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before confirming your travel arrangements with Tempo Africa. By booking with us, you agree to be bound by these terms:
1. Pricing and Availability
All prices quoted are subject to availability at the time of booking and may change without prior notice.
Quoted rates are based on current exchange rates, tariffs, taxes, and availability. Any fluctuation may affect the final cost.
Prices are per person, unless stated otherwise, and are based on double occupancy unless specified.
2. Blackout Dates and Surcharges
Rates are not valid during peak periods, public holidays, or blackout dates. These may include but are not limited to:
Christmas and New Year holidays (typically Dec 20 – Jan 5)
Easter Holidays
Long weekends and public holidays in East Africa and South Africa
Major local festivals or events
Surcharges may apply during these periods, and availability is limited.
3. Booking and Payment
A deposit or full payment may be required at the time of booking to secure reservations.
Final payment deadlines will be communicated upon confirmation and must be met to avoid cancellation.
Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or approved digital platforms.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation policies vary depending on the service provider (airline, hotel, tour operator). Specific cancellation terms will be provided upon booking.
Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to the provider's terms and may be subject to administrative fees.
Tempo Africa reserves the right to retain part of the deposit or full payment if bookings are canceled after confirmation.
5. Travel Insurance
Tempo Africa strongly recommends all clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical expenses, personal accident, baggage loss, and personal liability.
We can assist in arranging suitable travel insurance on request.
6. Travel Documents & Visas
Clients are responsible for ensuring that all passports, visas, health certificates, and any other required travel documents are valid and in order.
Tempo Africa provides visa support services but cannot be held responsible for visa refusals or delays.
7. Changes and Amendments
Any changes to confirmed bookings are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Name changes or amendments may not be permitted by certain airlines or suppliers, or may incur a fee.
8. Responsibilities and Liability
Tempo Africa acts only as an agent for hotels, airlines, transport providers, and tour operators. We are not liable for any loss, injury, damage, delay, or inconvenience caused by third parties.
While we do our best to ensure a smooth experience, travel is inherently subject to risks outside of our control, including weather, strikes, or government actions.
9. Health & Safety
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they meet the health requirements of the destination(s) they are visiting, including vaccinations or COVID-19 protocols.
Clients must inform us of any medical conditions or special requirements prior to travel.
10. Acceptance of Terms
By confirming a booking with Tempo Africa, the client confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
