An unforgettable experience in Tanzania and Kenya
Our safari through Tanzania and Kenya was absolutely magical, and we owe so much of that to our incredible guides, Sahid and Calvin Laban, who took such wonderful care of us. Traveling as a large family can be a challenge, but they always met us with huge smiles and a level of warmth that made us feel right at home from day one. They were so loving and patient with everyone, showing a true passion for teaching us and a genuine desire to share the beauty of their land. It was clear that they weren't just doing a job; they truly cared about us having the experience of a lifetime. We also want to thank Gosheni for the seamless organization; thanks to them and the amazing human quality of Sahid and Calvin, we are taking home memories that we will cherish forever.

I would like to highly recommend Gosheni for their exceptional service and organization of our safari in Masai Mara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro. From the initial planning to the end of our trip, everything was perfectly organized and exceeded our expectations.
A special thank you to our guides, Sahid and Calvin, who did an outstanding job of showing us the wildlife and sharing their knowledge of the region. Sahid, who led us in Masai Mara for three days, was knowledgeable and ensured our safety throughout the trip. Calvin, who accompanied us for four days in Serengeti and Ngorongoro, was exceptional in finding incredible animals and making our experience unforgettable. His passion for nature and attention to detail were impressive, and his food was delicious!
I also want to acknowledge Maliwaza, the administrator of the agency, who was very responsive and helpful throughout our planning process. And I'd like to give a special shout-out to Charles, the director, who went above and beyond by arranging for malaria medication to be purchased for us - it was a huge relief and truly appreciated, given it wasn't obligatory.

Exceeded my expectations
We honestly could not have wished for a better safari guide than Calvin Kileo from Gosheni Safaris. From start to finish, he was truly exceptional and made this trip more magical than we ever imagined.
Thanks to Calvin’s incredible knowledge, instincts, and dedication, we saw everything and more — elephants calmly walking right past our jeep, lions with their cubs, hippos, a leopard, and even an unforgettable cheetah hunt. His understanding of the land and wildlife in Ndutu, the Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Crater was outstanding, and it felt like he always knew exactly where to be at the right moment.
Calvin thought of absolutely everything. From perfectly timed game drives to beautifully set-up lunches in the most scenic spots, every detail was handled with care. The food and hotels throughout the trip were amazing, and the whole experience felt seamless and incredibly well organised.
What truly sets Calvin apart, though, is the kind of person he is. Everywhere we went, people spoke so highly of him — and it’s easy to see why. He is warm, friendly, patient, and genuinely kind. He went above and beyond to make my birthday safari the most unforgettable experience, adding thoughtful touches that made it feel incredibly special.

Calvin Kileo - Fantastic tour guide
We had an incredible safari experience, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Calvin Kileo. From the very start he was friendly, professional, and genuinely kind, always making sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment.
Calvin truly went above and beyond to give us the best possible wildlife experience. He worked hard to track animals, positioned the vehicle perfectly for photos and viewing, and shared his knowledge in a way that made every sighting even more special. His patience and dedication really stood out and he never rushed and always made sure we had the best views possible.
It was clear that Calvin is passionate about what he does and genuinely cares about his guests having an unforgettable safari. Thanks to him, we saw more than we ever expected and created memories we’ll never forget.

A dream safari that exceeded every expectation
This entire trip exceeded all of our expectations.
We did a 6-day safari during the February calving season, visiting Ndutu, Central Serengeti, and Ngorongoro as a group of four. Highly recommended Ndutu during calving season as this is only area can do off-road game drive, which allows you to see animals extremely close. Before booking, I contacted 30 safari operators that I shortlisted and compared everything — accommodations, vehicles (AC was important to us), pricing, and communication. Gosheni stood out immediately for their professionalism and responsiveness.
A big thanks to Herman for helping us choose the best travel window to reduce the chance of heavy rain while maximizing our chances of seeing newborn animals. His communication was prompt, and he handled every question and adjustment quickly and professionally while we refined the itinerary.
And a huge shout-out to our guide, Bariki — he truly made our dream safari come true. First, his knowledge and professionalism were outstanding. His understanding of the Serengeti ecosystem is incredibly deep. He can spot animals from miles away, knows their territories, and always knew how to track the specific animals we hoped to see. Every sighting came with fascinating explanations of animal behaviour, and he patiently answered every question we had — even random questions about plants we noticed along the road.
Second, his driving and problem-solving skills were exceptional. This turned out to be incredibly important on the muddy and flooded roads of Ndutu and the Serengeti. He always knew alternative routes, could quickly adjust plans when conditions changed, and consistently got us to the right place at the right time.
Finally, he has a fantastic eye for photography and safari experience. He knew the best angles, positioned the vehicle perfectly for lighting, and helped us capture amazing photos throughout the trip.
During our 5 days of game drives (plus 1 transit day), we saw everything we hoped for and more: the Big Five, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, hyenas, hippos, wildebeest, zebras, many birds and antelope — and baby animals almost everywhere thanks to calving season. The highlight of the trip was witnessing a successful cheetah hunt, which was unforgettable. Thanks to Bariki again for spotting and predicting the hunting!
I arrived hoping to see specific animals and behaviours, and left with so much knowledge, appreciation, and love for safari. We will definitely be back for another trip.

Incredible Safari!!!!
The safari was insane, we saw 14 cheetahs, 4 leopards and over 40 lions not to mention hundreds of other animals. Our guide Samir was very skilled at tracking animals and positioning us just right to take the best pictures. Samir was also very attentive to all our needs - he even went out of his way to organize a little celebration for us for our wedding anniversary during the trip. The car was very comfortable as well and Samir was a great driver! While plenty of other drivers got stuck in muddy conditions, Samir was only involved in rescuing a few! Overall, it was a great safari experience and we would highly recommend Gosheni and Samir.

An unforgettable safari trip!
My friends and I went on a 6-day safari, and the entire experience was absolutely amazing.
Our guide, Bariki, was exceptional- we couldn’t have asked for anyone better. He is incredibly knowledgeable about history, culture, plants, and, of course, animals. He patiently answered all our questions, no matter how silly they were.
As someone who loves animals, I learned so much from him, especially about animals behaviours and was amazed by all the fascinating facts I had never heard before. Without explanations, an animal might just seem like it’s standing there—but with Bariki’s insights, every sighting became meaningful and moving.
He is also fantastic at spotting animals from a distance and knows exactly how to approach them without disturbing or threatening them. Thanks to him, we saw a wide variety of wildlife, including the Big 5, the ‘Ugly 5,’ and even a rare lesser kudu! One of the highlights was witnessing a cheetah successfully hunt a gazelle, it was so thrilling!
Thanks again to Bariki for an unforgettable trip, and to also Herman for helping us plan everything so smoothly.

unexpected experience
My guide is Hassan, who is experienced and knows lots of knowledge. Traveling in Africa has given me the most unforgettable experience of my life. Every corner of this land is full of magic and warmth. The vast and wild scenery takes my breath away — golden sunsets, endless grasslands, and clear skies make me feel close to nature.
What touches me most is not only the amazing views but also the kindness of the local people. Their simple and happy lives, bright smiles, and sincere greetings make me feel warm and welcome. I have tasted special local food, listened to wonderful music, and enjoyed the peaceful rhythm of life here.

A remarkable safari experience
I recently spent six days on safari with Gosheni, traveling in a group of four through Ndutu, Central Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater. It’s hard to fully capture how special the experience was.
Bariki, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable. He shared insights about Tanzania’s history, Maasai traditions, local plants and of course the animals we encountered. He helped us find everything we hoped to see — the Big Five, the Ugly Five, lion cubs and baby elephants, a cheetah hunting a gazelle, and even the hyenas we were especially curious about. He was also always patient in answering all of our questions and made sure our curiosity was fully satisfied.
I especially appreciated how he interpreted animal movements and behaviors, helping us understand what certain actions meant. It truly felt like watching a wildlife documentary in real life. He clearly respects the animals and their natural environment, and with his knowledge and experience, we were able to approach wildlife thoughtfully and observe them up close without disturbing them, while still giving us excellent spots for photographs.
I would also like to mention that I requested meals to accommodate my dietary restrictions. The team ensured every lodge was informed and well prepared, which made the trip comfortable and worry-free for me.
This felt like much more than just a safari trip — it was a meaningful experience filled with lasting memories. Thank you for making it so special!
