My Dream Safari with Gosheni and Laban
I just got back from an incredible 7-day safari in Tanzania with Gosheni Safari Company, and I can’t stop raving about it! As a first-time safari-goer, I was a bit nervous, but Gosheni made everything so easy. Our team planned a perfect trip, hitting Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater. The lodges were stunning, and the food was always delicious—especially the bush breakfasts!
Our guide, Laban Gervas, was an absolute gem. His knowledge of the wildlife blew me away—he could spot a cheetah hiding in the grass from miles away! Laban made every game drive exciting, pointing out everything from playful baby elephants to a lion pride lounging under an acacia tree. He even shared stories about Tanzanian culture that made the trip feel so personal. One of my favorite moments was when he surprised us with a sunset view in the Serengeti—it felt like a scene from a movie. Laban’s warmth and humor made me feel right at home.
Gosheni and Laban turned my safari dream into reality. I’m already telling my family to book with them! Highly, highly recommend!

Our 7-day safari in Tanzania was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to our phenomenal guide Laban Gervas! His eagle-eyed vision was uncanny—he spotted a leopard camouflaged in the trees before anyone else even noticed a rustle. His dedication to ensuring we saw every animal on our list, from elusive cheetahs to majestic elephants, was relentless yet respectful of the wildlife. Our guide Laban turned our 7-day Tanzanian safari into the trip of a lifetime! His eagle-eyed spotting skills were incredible, he’d point out giraffe, elephant or hidden serval cats long before we could see them, making every game drive thrilling. He went above and beyond to track down the animals we were most excited to see, always with a contagious enthusiasm. His knack for finding the perfect shooting angles was a game-changer for our group’s amateur photographers. My guide Laban is the best.
I can’t praise our guide, Laban Gervas, enough for making our 7-day Tanzania safari an absolute triumph! His sharp, eagle-like eyes caught every flicker of movement—whether it was a lioness stalking in the grass or a distant elephant grazing, he never missed a beat. His commitment to helping us see our must-see animals was unmatched; he tirelessly scouted the best spots without ever rushing the experience. His driving was flawless, maneuvering through the Serengeti’s challenging trails with confidence, always angling the vehicle for the perfect shot. As a photographer, I was blown away by his instinct for lighting and composition—he knew exactly where to position us for those golden-hour captures. His animal instincts were almost supernatural, anticipating migrations with precision. Add to that his vast knowledge of the region’s ecosystems and geography, which enriched every conversation, and his infectious humor kept our group laughing and engaged. Wonderful experience with best tour guide -Albert
It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for me, which we were able to see multiple animal in wild life e.g., we saw a mother leopard together with her kid; Albert as a guide was amazing that he was very knowledgeable about the local animal and was able to answer all the random questions we had! Additionally, he was caring and attention to detail, e.g., he cleaned the car seat everyday and made it so comfortable & refreshed for us! I’m addition, we booked our trip late, the tour agency still managed to book relatively clean and good hotels / lodges for us!

Brilliant and fruitful tour with Albert!
It is a great experience to travel with Gosheni. Our driver Albert is enthusiastic and responsible. He is so good at spotting animals and found a standing leopard in just a glimpse. He took us to see nearly all of the animals we want to see, like Big Five, cheetah family and topi. I also learn a lot about animals and birds from him. Accommodation and food are also great thanks to their operation.

Albert is the best guide!
The tour was fantastic in the sense that 1) Albert as the tour guide is very knowledgeable about local culture and animal life, he was able to share lots of interesting facts about animal. 2) Albert has an eagle eye for spotting wide life and picking a good place to spot; When we got to Mara river to see the animal crossing, he was able to find the front-row seat among tens of jeeps; 3) Albert had a big smile and appears to be very warm

Shabani is the BEST guide EVER
I had an incredible private, custom safari experience for my 40th birthday, booked through Gosheni. I went with my cousin, and we were really happy with the hotels and camps we stayed at — each one was beautiful and the service was excellent throughout.
The absolute highlight of the trip was our driver and guide, Shabani (who also goes by Simba). He completely made the experience. Not only was he fun, personable, and kind, but he was also incredibly accommodating. His positive energy was contagious, and it was clear that he was respected by other guides too. He went out of his way to make sure I saw every animal I had on my birthday wish list, and his diligence paid off — we saw so much wildlife.
Every day we found ourselves saying how grateful we were to have chosen Gosheni, and more specifically, to have been matched with Shabani. From the moment we met him, he elevated the whole experience and made it feel extra special.
The food at most camps was really good. The Four Seasons was stunning, as expected, and they added some thoughtful touches for my birthday that I really appreciated. At Ngorongoro Lodge, the spa staff went above and beyond — my cousin was even able to get a massage after hours because they genuinely wanted to make us happy.
Also, the lunches we were served during the game drives were consistently delicious. We noticed other groups had very simple boxed lunches with sandwiches and fruit, but ours were full meals. That might have been part of booking the luxury package, but either way, we appreciated the quality and attention to detail.
Overall, this was one of the most memorable trips I’ve ever taken. I can’t recommend it enough, and if you can, ask for Shabani. He made it magical.

Amazing
After researching multiple tour companies, we booked our Kenya Tanzania trip with Gosheni. Our trip itinerary was created by Marlene who did a great job of booking great lodges and hotels. What made our experience incredible was our Tanzanian guide Ombeni. He is extremely friendly, polite and was good with our kids. He drove safely and showed us the big 5 and many more. I highly recommend Gosheni and ask for Ombeni for a incredible experience
