5/5

we booked speke holidays uganda from uk on reviews of trip advisor.we have found jennifer very helpful&proffessional in replying to my initial enquiry.i did find some tour operators who were cheper costwise but decided to go with speke holidays as i found them very quick on responding to my querry.i am glad we went with them as we had lots of issues travelwise from uk&returning from uganda with brussels airlines but they tried to help us as much as they could.at one point on 240316,the trip was off as our flight was cancelled but were taken on by ba on 250316 and had to contact jennifer to reactivate our tours which was pre arranged&deposit paid for.i have really enjoyed tour of murchison falls/safari&later jinja&surrounding area with speke holidays.their guide/driver hamid was amazing/fullof knowledge of areas we visited.transport vehicles were excellent&comfortable.we used them for kampala sightseeing too.i would used them again in future.i would recommend them to anyone travelling to uganda.

I highly recommend Speke Uganda Holidays to show you this beautiful country
5/5

From our initial contact, Speke proved responsive and flexible despite our numbers, and even arrival date, changing up to the last moment. And from the moment we met Robert, our driver/guide at Entebbe, I knew we were in good hands. Ever cheerful, personable, untiring and well-informed, he put in long hours and great effort to take care of us on a whistle-stop week that covered Murchison, Kibale, Fort Portal and Queen Elizabeth National Park, and he was truly soon part of the family. Many of the roads are poor, and the distances great, but the sights and experiences more than make up for this - from sunrise over the Nile, waiting for the ferry to cross and keeping a wary eye on the brazen baboons looking for a breakfast in the vehicles, to getting within a few metres of wild Chimps as they calmly sit, regarding you, to laughing at young elephants splashing delightedly as they bathe in the Kazinga Channel. I have lived and travelled widely in Africa and this is the friendliest, most beautiful, amazing country... you should not miss it. My family had the holiday of a lifetime in Uganda, and I can thoroughly recommend Speke Uganda and Robert to take care of you there.

Great tour of Uganda and Rwanda
5/5

I recently went on a 14 day fixed schedule tour of Uganda and Rwanda with Speke. At first I was a little nervous about choosing them as they are in Kampala and don't take credit cards (I'm from the USA). But I went ahead and reserved with them and I'm very glad I did. The itinerary was excellent - worthwhile destinations and just the right pace, not rushed and not too relaxed. It was an excellent value tour as well, being significantly less expensive than similar tours run by US and British agencies (the same itinerary staying at the same lodgings). Our guide Paul was superb - well informed, very organized, always attentive to the clients' needs and spoke flawless english. The hotels were more than adequate with clean, private bathrooms and decent food. Several were in outstanding, scenic locations. The wi-fi internet was often marginal, but I think this comes with the region. Overall, I would highly recommend Speke Uganda Holidays to western travellers.

a very interesting, well organized tour with a diligent and customer-focussed guide/driver
5/5

service was good: both the company and the guide/ driver. Good car. Some lodges very good, one or two under average.
Kibale/ QENP and Bwindi are a good selection of National Parks. The distances between them are comfortable.
Speke Uganda is a very good travel company! Every time we were content.

Highly Recommend Speke Uganda
5/5

The tour we chose with Speke Uganda was way and above our expectations. Our main objective was to see the gorillas in Uganda and Rwanda and thankfully we decided to combine with a fantastic roadtrip across Uganda. Our Guide, Paul, and our driver, Charles, contributed to making this trip unforgettable. We felt safe, cared for and very welcome. Paul's knowledge of both Uganda and Rwanda is outstanding. He had genuine answers for every little thing we wanted to know. Even the customer relations by Daphne and Tony in the office were outstanding. Everything went smoothly, no hiccups, disasters or problems...apart from not seeing a single lion the whole trip! Cant blame Speke for that though, comes down to mother nature. We had a great tour and got on well with the other 3 members of our tour. All the lodges we stayed in were fantastic as well. Cannot fault this trip. It may have been a little more comfy if our vehicle had been some kind of land cruiser rather than a van with a pop up roof but it did the job and I cant really complain. If you are thinking of booking Speke.....just do it, you will not be disappointed.

Excellent communication and updates, reliable services provided, they exceeded our expectations and the tour guide was excellent and well conversant with the game park and the different animals that we saw. The boat ride, a memory that will forever stick in the kids minds.

The tour was an unforgettable experience.
5/5

Instead of a rafting tour it would be nice to learn Kampala with its markets, central busstation and business at all.
In Kidepo NP I missed the guided walking tour.
After gorilla tracking in Uganda - the "highest" highlight - back to Entebbe and endl of the trip. The time in Rwanda was not very interesting and expensive (vaccination, visa, hotel, changing money, waiting a whole day in Kigali fot the departure and waitng again in Entebbe etc.)
Thank you for the very good driver (Eddy) and the nice guide (Grace).

I wish you merry x-mas and alle best in 2016.

We had a great and fantastic tour in Uganda and Ruanda
5/5

We would like to thank Paul and Hamid for the great trip. We have learnt a lot about the culture, people, religion and animals in Uganda and Rwanda. And we had so much luck with both Gorilla groups in Uganda and Rwanda. They were so active and curious about us. We really enjoyed this experience and we will never forget it.
We felt protected and happy all the time. Our lodges were good and we felt warmly welcomed. We liked it to eat in typical Ugandan and Rwandan restaurants and the visits of the local markets. For us it was an unforgettable trip with great group. Thank you very much.
