Unforgetable experience
5/5

We were a group of 5 germans (age 30-82!!) on this tour, that was organized by the german agency Diamir, which has a cooperation with Speke Uganda. We started at Entebbe and saw Murchison falls, Kibale forest, Queen Elizabeth NP, Bwindi NP and Rwanda. Our guide Ivan Nsubuga was very competent, dedicated and caring. He spoke excellent german and was very sensible for individual necessities and wishes. He showed us not only wildlife, but also a lot of culture and he gave us a great insight to Uganda. Our driver Moses Niwamanya did a great Job, too, driving us safely on challenging roads. In perfect english he gave a lot of information, as well. Both of them were so friendly and made us feel so comfortable, that I recommend this journey to all my friends.

Speke Uganda and our driver Hamid especially were wonderful during our short time in Uganda. The places we saw were full of culture and although we knew we couldn't fully see all that Uganda has to over in only a couple days we felt it was an excellent view into the country. The main purpose of our trip was to spread this ashes of a deceased loved one and Hamid was extremely respectful and accommodating in our needs. I would highly recommend Speke Uganda as a tour company in the future.

Very Good and reliable.

I booked with them a 5-day trip in Uganda and Rwanda, with 1 gorilla trekking in each country. As I had an extra day, they added one chimp trekking marking it a 6-day tour. All went really well anda exactly as it was agreed when hiring them.
The contact was also easy, with my emails always being answered very fast.
I certainly do recommend their agency.

I made the 14 day Uganda/Rwanda tour this September/October with one german and 2 english fellow travellers which was organized by the german agency “Karibu Safaris” in cooperation with “Speke Uganda”. We started at Entebbe and saw Murchison falls, Kibale forest, Queen Elizabeth NP, Bwindi NP and Rwanda. Our guide Paul was absolutely competent, dedicated and caring. He spoke excellent german and showed us not only wildlife, but also a lot of culture and he gave us a great insight to Uganda. David, our driver, did a great job, too, driving us safely on challenging roads. Both were a perfect team and made the trip exceptionell. Every day of the journey provided us with a highlight we will never ever forget. I will definitely recommend this journey and “Karibu Safaris” together with “Speke Uganda” to all my friends.
But Speke Uganda is not only a great agency but they also supported me with my donation for Eden School at Lake Bunyonyi we visited and which was a very emotional experience for me. Back in Germany Helmke Sears of “Karibu Safaris” established the contact with Tony Mulinde of “Speke Uganda” in order to help with the donation. I am looking forward to hear and see photos from the handling over the items they bought for the school/kids.
Thank you all for the great time and experiences I had!

Wonderful safari, including trekking gorgeous gorillas and chimps, with most amazing guide Eric.
5/5

Have never used Speke before, but definitely would holiday with them again and would highly recommend them to anyone else. We have travelled extensively in Africa, India and South &. Central America to see wildlife. This trip was up there with the very best especially as we had world-class guide Eric to ensure our experience. As vegans, Eric ensured that all our food was appropriate - and very tasty. Would highly recommend the accommodation - Buhoma Lodge at Bwindi, Kyaninga Lodge for the chimp trekking and Bakers Lodge at Murchison Falls. It is worth mentioning that Bakers Lodge is on the far side of the Nile to the Murchison Falls NP, so you are dependent on ferry crossings to get into the park which means you cannot stay in the park early evening.
A HUGE thank you to Eric of Speke, in particular, for making our holiday so special.

An emotional journey to our birth place and Tony our driver/guide ensured that it went smoothly
5/5

Great trip with Tony looking after us expertly and with great care. He was like a part of our family. What an unforgettable experience Uganda was. The happy smiling people and the beautiful country. Great lodges with good food. Saw everything apart from the elusive leopard. Tony did not give up trying to find for us. Saw 10 lions!!! Sadly not with us anymore.

This tour was a breathtaking experience.
5/5

This tour more than lived up to my expectations. Our guide, Peter, was knowledgeable on all topics. He communicated the itinerary to us both the day before and the morning of with times for breakfast and departure, the activities, how we should dress, etc. He was able to deal with a variet of personalities, some difficult ones, with respect and an understanding of that person's culture and idiosyncrasies. The tour itself was nicely paced with some very active days and some where we were able to relax and just enjoy the beautiful scenery. Peter made sure we remained healthy and safe providing water and fresh fruit and inquiring as to how we were feeling. All of the othe guides and rangers we encountered were also kind, knowledgeable, and respectful. The accommodations we stayed in were breathtaking. The gorilla and chimpanzee trekking days were fun and exciting. There was a respect for those primates from those who live and work there. I liked that we were given the opportunity to experience the culture by visiting the villages. The variety of activities was excellent. I would certainly travel with Speke Uganda again.

Great experiences und impressions of Uganda with the highlight visiting the gorillas.
4/5

First of all we would like to thank our guide Moses for the friendly assistance during our week in Uganda.
It was a pleasure meeting you. Nevertheless don't forget to be always in time :-).

The accomodations are all absolutely perfect for that that trip. The wunderful nature especially in QE Bush Lodge and
Arcadia Lodge Bunyonyi will be always in our mind. Also the support of all staff in the hotels were very impressive.

The safari tour itself (Ishasha and QE Nationalpark) was nice but not comparable with Tansania where we spent a holiday four years due to the amount of different animals.
Nevertheless we will keep the green Uganda always in our mind due to many great experiences, also outside the "normal" tour.

The most amazing experience was Bwindi Nationalpark with the gorilla family and also chimapnzee trekking in Kibale Forest National Park.

Thanks for giving us the chance to collect so many great impressions.
