David, my driverguide is an excellent friendly and professional tour operator
My safaritrip through Uganda was an amazing and beautiful expirience. It was perfectly organized, the lodges are in all places very good with friendly staff David , my guide was shown and told me things to know about people and nature. I was deep impressed about living standards in communities and villages . So I hope , that tourismus will bring jobs and money to the poor people and many guests will come to see that beautiful nature in Ugenda I had many emotional moments, and may be I will come back!

WOW!!
Our 10 day Best of Uganda lodge safari (10-19 Oct 2025) was booked through Speke's agent partner World Expeditions in Australia.
Despite having experienced memorable safaris through Southern Africa our Uganda trip has been the best so far.
Expertly led by Vincent, we were blown away by the sheer number of animals we saw and each day's experience surpassed the previous.
The lodges/staff/meals were excellent and the program had a good mix of game drives, boat cruises and on foot adventures (Speke even surprised us with a bonus boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi, thank you!).
Highest praise for Vincent, world's best game spotter (even when also having to concentrate on driving over rugged roads) and a most experienced leader. Vincent went the extra mile: getting up early to register us for the gorilla trek (so lucky we only had to trek 30 minutes to get to our gorilla group!!); organising late check out so we could shower after our gorilla trek; getting us first on the boats so we could have prime viewing seats; taking us to restaurants where we could experience local cuisine...just to name a few of the extras he did for us.
Thank you Vincent and Speke for a most memorable Uganda journey.

There is no better tour guide than Kasamba!!
We had a life changing experience while in Uganda and huge part of that was because of our guide Kasamba!!! He always had the biggest smile on his face and you could really tell he loves what he does! We learned so much from him and he brought us to the best places to learn more about the area. Can't thank him enough for the best part of our trip!!

Amazing Safari and Gorilla trekking
We had an wonderful Safari and Gorilla Trekking in January.
We saw so many beautiful Animals and the Gorilla trekkings was amazing!
The Lodges were we stay was absolutely amazing.
Our Driver Charles M. Was excellent!

they really care about their guests
We have been guided by Robert Matovu.
He is an excellent tour guide and we had a very good time with him. What I appreciate very much is, that he was always with us when we were sitting for lunch or dinner together. He was part of the group and we liked his humor and his cute german dialect. He was eager to provide as much as possible from the Ugandan wild life and also was the one to care for any logistic challenges.
I really would like to go on tour with him again.
All in all my trip through Uganda was the most exciting experience ever ... and - believe it - I have seen a lot in the recent 50 years!!

Overall it was a wonderful trip to some beautiful places and national parks in Uganda.
This trip was well organised und we have all the time an outstanding support from our guides - Raymond + Richard.

Fantastic service
We booked a 10 day safari for 5 people, which exceeded all our expectations from start to finish. Our driver/guide David was excellent and helped to make the experience special- everything was calmly and efficiently organised, with clear and helpful communication- all our questions were always answered and our needs were always met in a courteous and sensitive manner. The itinerary was full on but never rushed and the truck was always spotless, with a fridge full of water for us. We saw more than we’ve ever seen on other safaris to Kenya and S Africa, the range and amount of wildlife was amazing and the landscapes were fantastic. David helped spot animals that we couldn’t see and we managed to have unique experiences every day- seeing leopards and taking time to watch a hunting lioness were particularly special. All the lodges were excellent with the set menu approach for lunch/dinner with options working very well and the breakfasts which were cooked to order were superb. Although the roads are often bumpy, David’s careful driving meant that even long journeys weren’t too exhausting and we always arrived at our destination in good time.
Our gorilla trekking day in Bwindi was amazing and a wonderful highlight of the holiday, the organisation was fantastic and although the trek itself was challenging, our guide Joy and the rangers were wonderful.
Thank you for a fabulous experience, we will look to book with Speke again.
