Incredible once in a lifetime experience!!
My husband and I booked with Ker & Downey in hopes to have a once in a lifetime experience for our honeymoon. We were nervous to travel to Africa without using a company with extensive knowledge of the area, so we found Ker & Downey. I inquired with several other companies but Ker & Downey really took the time to get to know us and plan accordingly. They asked questions about us, Skyped with us, and asked our budget. We actually ended up coming in UNDER budget, which was greatly appreciated as I figured we would come in over budget. They gave us several options to chose from. Each accommodation we stayed at was absolutely incredible. Every transport, every tour, every adventure was done at the highest standards, with experienced guides and beyond met our expectations. The communication was amazing. They left little surprises at all our locations to make our honeymoon special. They gave us information on local restaurants, what to pack, what to expect, things we would need/not need. The planning was so easy and I could relax knowing they took care of everything. I can’t thank Razaan and her team enough for making our dreams come true!!!

Our perfect 1st Safari planning and experience.
We are still in awe as we reminisce about our short 6 day safari in the beautiful country of Botswana. Almost last minute, we decided to add a safari to our travel plans to South Africa and were referred to Ker & Downey. What an exceptional experience we had working with Emma. After several idea changes and many inquiries she narrowed down an intinerary to fit our sense of adventure and interests. Our many airport connections, organization of storage for our extra luggage and delivery to our final hotel, meetups with airport personnel to navigate customs was incredibly efficient and occurred without one flaw. We were astounded with the level of detail organization Emma orchestrated. We also worked together with Razaan and she picked up right where I left off with Emma. The communication between the two was continual and I never had to re-explain my desires or inquires. The detailed itinerary was easily downloaded and followed; it was ALOT of information and even more helpful as I re-read it afterwards having “lived” it.
I have fallen in love with Botswana, what we learned and experienced; interacting with the Botswanian people and children, the beauty of the land were life changing. I hope that another African adventure will be in our near future. I won’t hesitste to seek out Emma and Razaan at Ker And Downey. We graciously thank you Emma and Razaan for your expertise and for taking in our “personalities” into account to make this adventure one for Life’s chapters.

Best Trip Ever
We had never been to Africa before, yet alone on safari. After 15 incredible days , we can comfortably say this was our best adventure trip ever!! Sarah was our adventurist from Kerr-Downey- she listened to our requests, suggested some itineraries and after her input we felt very comfortable with an itinerary. And wow, did it ever exceed our expectations!!

I spent almost 1.5 years planning my Kenyan trip with Jenieen and Razaan. It was the most incredible experience and the trip of a lifetime!!! The planning phase was SO easy - they took care of EVERYTHING POSSIBLE!!! There were no glitches, no moments of wondering if things would go as planned! Everything went smoothly. An Amazing Trip, Can't Wait To Return For A 2nd Visit!
Communications from the start were excellent. We had many changes due to family schedules and Emma addressed each change flawlessly. For our safari's, we stayed at Lion Sands Narina at Kruger Park and Phinda at the Beyond Phinda Forest Lodge. Each stay was different and wonderful in it's own way. Our trip was beyond our expectations and every need was taken care of. Victoria Falls was beautiful and we were able to include a couple special events (Tiger Fishing and Sunset Cruise). We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Cape Town. Ryan Strauss was an amazing guide and wonderful companion. Our only wish is we should have booked more time to explore, maybe next time! Truly a trip of a lifetime! Thank you for making this happen!

Safari is a life experience and as such requires adequate planning. Ker & Downey Africa organized the trip optimally. He set the trip to my needs allowing me to admire fantastic places in total safety and relaxation. The tents in which I stayed have exceeded expectations. First class!
We are three friends who came together to celebrate a special birthday from three different continents. I cannot praise K&D i.e Emma & Razaan highly enough for making our trip so very, very special. We spent 6 nights as part of the LuxVenture Safari being absolutely spoiled with Birthday Cakes and Champagne, all courtesy of K&D which ensured that what would have been an absolutely amazing trip anyway was further enhanced by the additional special treatment we received. It made the trip absolutely magical.

Ker & Downey customized a "trip of a lifetime" for our family of 5. They are meticulous about everything down to the last detail. We had an incredible trip with luxury accommodations, outstanding service and wonderful memories. We just arrived back and trying to figure out our next trip.
