Very good tour operator
An unforgettable experience very well organized by the tour operator following our needs. The accommodations offered were all excellent, both in terms of location and comfort. The quality of the food was very good. The Italian-speaking guide Godifrey perfectly followed our program and accommodated our requests, making our safari even more unique.

Very kind, professional and helpful
We have a great time with Meru Slopes. Our tour was perfectly organized, and we really enjoyed every single activity they programmed.
All the staff - guides, drivers, organizer - were very kind and ready to answer to all our questions. They prepared a perfect tour for our need.
The total price of the tour was below the average of all the offers we received, but the overall quality of our experience was very high.
We would like to thank especially the tour organizer Shadrack, and the guides Nixon and Laizer. We had a great time with them.

Great value and very experienced
Just finished a 7 day Safari as part of our honeymoon trip and it was quite a trip of a lifetime. We were there to see the great migration. Our guide/driver was very experienced and a very safe driver. You can tell by how he navigated the rough terrain, communicated with other drivers to gauge what was going on around us. He made it a mission to make sure we didn’t miss anything we drove by. He answered all our questions with patience. Meru slopes was also accommodating, with great communication with us. We got a mid range price experience, so the accommodations provided some comforts of home, with elements of luxury. For what we paid, the experience was beyond expectations. This is also a local company their prices are on the lower end as you book direct and support local Tanzanians!

Amazing safari! A once in a lifetime experience.
Amazing guides and cooks.
Beautiful parks and animals. Was able to see the big 5s, the great migration, and many other animals.
We had such a great time that we would go back again.

Life-changing private safari with Meru Slopes - ask for Lobulu!
My husband and I booked a private safari in August and it was everything we hoped for and more. We visited Tarangire, Serengeti (Central & North), Maasai Village and the Ngorongoro Crater and the whole experience felt effortless.
What set Meru Slopes apart were all the extra little things: thoughtful touches at every stop, smooth transfers, clear, prompt communication, and an itinerary beautifully laid out with no hidden costs. As vegans, we were so impressed!! The food was great everywhere we went and our needs were handled with care. Huge shout-out to Shadrack, our first and last point of contact, who organised everything and checked in to make sure we were happy the entire way through.
And then there’s Lobulu - honestly, the best guide we could’ve imagined!!! So friendly, caring, funny and just a genuine good person. He’s skilled, kind, and deeply knowledgeable. He positioned the vehicle perfectly for photos, even grabbed some photos of us, and drove so smoothly that half the time you wouldn’t know we were 4WD’ing. He kept respectful distances from wildlife yet we still got unbelievably close and had lions, wildebeest, lions, zebras, elephants, hyenas, & giraffes all came up within 1m of the car!! We had incredible sightings of countless animals - we saw all of the Big 5, and witnessed two - yes TWO - wildebeest river crossings during the Great Migration. It was electric and absolutely breathtaking. Between sightings we even picked up some Swahili with him, taught him some Aussie slang and had so many laughs and sing alongs.
Mornings and evenings were a bit chilly in August but days were warm, so bring layers and Meru will handle the rest. This trip gave us new friends, unbelievable memories, and was truly worth every cent.
If you’re on the fence, just book it. Highly recommend Meru Slopes - ask for Lobulu if you can! Asante sana! 🦁

Amazing experience!
Almachius has been very professional in creating a tailor made experience for us: a three days hike to Kilimanjaro and a four days safari through Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro.
Both of them were amazing!
Speaking about the first, we spent two nights in Mandara Hut: Suma, the guide, was very helpful in supporting us during the toughest moments of the hike, and also the other members of the crew were so nice with us.
Max, the guide of the second, allowed us to have a great experience, answering all our questions and driving for hours through the parks: he was incredible in finding all the kind of animals in their wonderful environment!
Thank you for all!

No hassles and very professional!
We did a private 3-day safari with Meru Slopes, visiting Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire – and it was truly a 5/5 experience.
From the beginning, we were impressed by the excellent reviews this company already had, and we can now confirm they are absolutely deserved. The organization through Shadrack was smooth and professional, and our guide Alan was fantastic – knowledgeable, attentive, and always making sure we had the best possible experience.
Everything was perfectly arranged: we had accommodation before and after the safari as well as a transfer to Moshi, and it all went without a hitch. The lodges during the safari were beautiful and comfortable – honestly, it was almost a pity that we couldn’t spend more time there because they were so lovely.
Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better trip. We felt well taken care of from start to finish, and the entire safari exceeded our expectations. We will definitely come back with Meru Slopes to experience the Serengeti next time!

With Meru Slopes and the fantastic guide Paul, an unforgettable experience is guaranteed.
Our adventure in Tanzania was incredible. A huge part of that is thanks to our guide, Paul – always warm, attentive, and deeply passionate about his country. His genuine love for Tanzania and its breathtaking wildlife shone through in everything he did, and his enthusiasm was truly contagious. He made sure we spotted all of the Big Five, showing incredible dedication and knowledge every step of the way.
A special shoutout also goes to our chef, Rachid, who treated us to delicious meals every single day – a true culinary talent!

Incredible Safari experience with Meru Slopes
We recently completed a 7-day safari with Meru Slopes, and it was nothing short of extraordinary from start to finish. From pickup at the airport to our final departure, every detail was flawlessly arranged, making this trip truly unforgettable. Meru Slopes organized a seamless itinerary, arranging all transportation and accommodations, including hotels, lodges, and campsites. Jerome coordinated everything with professionalism and care, ensuring a smooth, stress-free experience from day one. Our Guide and Driver: Paul was the standout highlight of our trip-a truly professional, passionate, and dedicated guide and driver.
He went above and beyond to ensure we didn't miss a thing: guiding us to spectacular views, pointing out unique plants, and sharing insightful knowledge about wildlife behavior.
Paul also offered thoughtful information about the region's geography and the diverse ethnic cultures we encountered, enriching the entire safari experience. Our cook/chef Rasheed, prepared delectable meals throughout the journey, with a great variety of dishes and refreshing drinks. The meals were consistently delicious and thoughtfully prepared, adding to the comfort and enjoyment of each day.
Our group-Martina, Mateo, Mattia, Azura, and Mari-made the trip even more memorable. Their company and camaraderie created a fun, engaging, and supportive atmosphere. We cannot imagine a more fun and unforgettable trip. Meru Slopes delivered a safari that exceeded our expectations in every way. The combination of expert guiding, thoughtful planning, excellent food, and a wonderful group made this an amazing and unforgettable adventure. I would highly recommend Meru Slopes for this kind of trip. If you're looking for a well-organized, immersive, and truly memorable safari experience, they're the right choice.

An Experience of a Lifetime
I joined the 7-Day Serengeti Wildebeest Migration Camping Safari, and as my very first safari experience, I have no regrets choosing Meru Slopes Safari and Tours. Jerome, the sales manager, was very accommodating and took care of everything from our arrival to our departure in Arusha. He personally welcomed us and ensured that we felt comfortable throughout.
Our safari guide and driver, Paul, went above and beyond to make sure we had the best views and saw the animals we wished to see—even going to extra lengths to make it happen. He was very warm, knowledgeable, and always ready to explain anything we wanted to know about the wildlife. Witnessing the Great Migration was the highlight of the trip—an unforgettable experience that I had only ever seen on social media, and I couldn’t believe I was watching it with my own eyes.
Our cook, Rashid, prepared delicious, warm meals and always greeted us with a smile. We were truly grateful for his kindness and hospitality.
Overall, it was a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, and I highly recommend Meru Slopes Safari and Tours.
