Juma is, without a doubt, the best guide we have ever had—and we have traveled extensively. He is incredibly knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best possible experience. Thanks to him, we enjoyed exclusive wildlife encounters because he took us to places where other safari vehicles simply didn’t go. He knows hidden spots that many other guides don’t, which allowed us to find ourselves completely alone, surrounded by lions—an unforgettable moment.
This has been the most incredible trip of my life, and Juma deserves a huge part of the credit. He was always ready to help, made us feel completely at ease, and truly made us feel at home.

Our safari with Meru Slopes was truly one of the most unforgettable experiences of our lives. (We did the 5-day/4-night safari, visiting Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and the Ngorongoro Crater and it was the perfect choice for us.)
From beginning to end, everything exceeded our expectations.
A very special thank you goes to Juma, who is, without a doubt, the best guide in the world. He has the biggest heart and went above and beyond every single day to make sure we were happy. No request was ever too much for him—he did everything possible to fulfill our every wish, and even more. Thanks to his incredible knowledge, sharp eyes, patience, and determination, we were lucky enough to see every animal we had dreamed of seeing. He always made us feel safe, welcomed, and cared for, and his passion for wildlife and his country made every moment even more special. We will never forget the incredible memories he helped create for us.
A huge thank you also to Doullah, who is an outstanding chef. Every single meal was fresh, delicious, and prepared with great care. Great Safari Experience
We had an incredible 5-day safari in Tanzania, and it was truly the highlight of our family vacation.
Our guide, Amari, was outstanding. He was knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about wildlife, making every game drive exciting and educational. Thanks to his sharp eyes and experience, we were able to see the Big Five and so many other amazing animals. He always knew the best spots while making sure we felt safe and comfortable throughout the trip.
Everything was well organized, the lodges were great, and the scenery in Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and the Serengeti was simply breathtaking.
If you’re planning a safari in Tanzania, we highly recommend this experience—and if you can, ask for Amari as your guide. He made our family vacation unforgettable

stunningly efficient
We booked our safari just one day in advance and everything worked out well. All things that you expect to belong to a safari were supplied.
Exzellent viewpoints for watching the animals, great informations about the Migration and the best spots to watch in quietness and with great patience.
Our guide, Julius Mhina, was friendly, patient, insisting on the nearest spots and always in touch with other guides to check, where the best sights for watching werde going to occure.
So the main dream, to watch animals so near, so quiet and so naturally came true.
Lots of more compliments to make, but the most important ones are given.

Our 5-day safari with Meru Slopes was truly one of the most incredible experiences of our lives. We visited Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, and every single day exceeded our expectations.
We were incredibly lucky to have Jackson as our guide. He was absolutely outstanding—professional, knowledgeable, funny, and always available to help with anything we needed. From the very first day, he made us feel like part of his family, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere throughout the entire trip. Excellent experienced safari operator
Our family of 4 had an amazing safari experience with Meru Slopes and couldn’t be happier with our choice. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish by Jerome, even when we were making last minute changes due to flight disruptions in the Middle East. We arrived late at night after several flight issues, but despite this, the driver was waiting for us and ensured another driver came out for our daughter who was diverted to an even later flight. The drivers communicated with each other, us and Jerome to ensure a difficult situation was made simple and reassured us our daughter was in safe hands as she arrived at 1 am.
We then had a day in Arusha with the same driver who picked us up, he took us around several sights and made sure we had a full but relaxed schedule.
Jerome met us and briefed us for our safari, he was very helpful and thorough.
Our safari guide Max was outstanding — extremely knowledgeable, professional. We spent 8 days exploring Tarangire, Serengeti, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro, and every moment was incredible. Max always knew where to go, but more importantly when to go. He got us up early when needed, getting us deep into the parks before other visitors. At times it felt like we were the only people in the park. He gave careful consideration to our request to be environmentally conscious and observe the wildlife in an ethical way. We could not have asked for a better guide and his 20 + years of guiding experience clearly showed. Additionally, he was an expert driver on the challenging roads and we felt very safe the entire time.
Each of the accommodations were excellent - clean, comfortable with plenty of delicious food. The food was excellent and far exceeded our expectations, especially considering we were in the middle of nowhere.
Meru slopes focuses on the customer experience and Jerome’s response to any communication was extremely prompt. They clearly go above and beyond our expectations. We would 100% recommend Meru Slopes.

Excellent Safari Experience!
We had a great time on our 3 day Safari that was planned by our manager Leonard! It was a very fun and smooth experience with our guide Abraham and our cook Yohani!
We saw tons of wonderful animals and learned so many facts about the wildlife from Abraham! The food and drinks that were included in our package were all very tasty and well portioned. We would highly recommend booking with Meru Slopes!

An unforgettable safari experience! I traveled from Australia and spent almost two days getting to the Serengeti, and it exceeded every expectation.
