An Amazing Safari Experience
I had an incredible safari experience and would highly recommend this team to anyone traveling to Tanzania!
Our guide Joel was absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, responsible, and genuinely funny. Thanks to him, we were the first to spot a leopard resting in a tree, and he always found us amazing viewing spots. Within the first two days in the Serengeti, we had already seen almost all the animals on our list, and we were incredibly lucky to witness the wildebeest migration!
Edson, our driver, was also amazing. He was not only a great driver but also always knew where to find authentic, delicious, and affordable local food, which made the trip feel much more local and memorable.
And a big thank you to Ignas, who was incredibly responsive and responsible throughout the trip. Whether I messaged him at 5 AM or midnight, he always replied quickly and helped me find a solution.
Everything was well organized from start to finish, and the whole experience exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend this team to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania!

An Unforgettable Safari Experience
We had an amazing safari experience in Tanzania, visiting Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Everything was very well organized from start to finish, and the communication with the back office was excellent. They were always available, responsive and helpful whenever we needed anything.
A special mention goes to Jackson, our guide, who was absolutely outstanding. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly, and his ability to spot animals was truly impressive. He always took the time to explain what we were seeing and made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
We were incredibly lucky with our wildlife sightings, including lions, a leopard, cheetahs with cubs and two rhinos, but what made the safari special was the overall experience and Jackson’s expertise.
We would definitely recommend this tour operator to anyone looking for a well-organized and memorable safari in Tanzania. A special thank you to Jackson and the entire back-office team for making our trip so enjoyable!

Best experience of our lives with perfect tour operator - Big 5 and more!
We have dreamed about visiting Tanzania for a long time, and we choose Meru Slopes for our Private 8-day tour because of the good reviews that we had read online.
We are very happy with our choice, the trip couldn't be better!!
We started our safari in Lake Manyara NP, where we were able to spot a lot of wildlife (baboons, giraffes, elephants, lions and much more).
Then we continued with Serengeti NP, were we spotted hundreds of animals, inluding a close look to the Big Cats (lions, leopards, cheetas).
At Serengeti we were also able to see the Great Migration, a marvel of nature, including witnessing the famous crossing of river Mara.
Then we proceeded to Ngorongoro Crater, where we saw all the Big 5 in a span of minutes (including 5 Black Rhinos).
The last park that we visited is Tarangire NP, the paradise of elephants and baobab trees.
At the end of the trip we came home with hundreds of photos and videos (including stunning scenes like lioness hunting and river crossing), a lot of touching memories and the desire to come back again.
The trip was very well organized, rooms were comfortable and food was delicious. All the staff was very friendly and welcoming.
A special thanks goes to our driver and safari guide Omari, extremely expert in animals and also a very good company for the trip.
The way he was able to spot all animals was magical.
Also thanks to Almachius for assisting us with all our questions before the trip, with kindness and professionality.

First and foremost, a massive thank you to Leonard, who organized our tour with absolute perfection. He is a true master of his craft. The accommodations he selected were top-notch, luxurious, and comfortable, and the entire itinerary was executed seamlessly.
We had a major mix-up with our arrival date—our tour was scheduled to begin on July 26th, but we actually arrived a day early, on July 25th. We only realized this at the very last minute, which could have been a disaster. However, Leonard stepped in like an absolute hero. He handled the situation so brilliantly, swiftly, and effortlessly that we didn't feel a single second of distress or inconvenience. His problem-solving skills and customer care are simply world-class.
And the biggest round of applause goes to our extraordinary guide, Bariki. With over 10 years of expert experience, he is hands down the best guide you could ever ask for! Thanks to his unbelievable knowledge, keen eyes, and deep passion, we were blessed to see every single animal and natural wonder we had ever dreamed of. Beyond his incredible professionalism, Bariki is a deeply warm, empathetic, and wonderfully thoughtful person with exceptional emotional intelligence. He didn't just show us the wildlife; he made us feel completely safe, cared for, and cherished every step of the way.

These have been unforgettable days. The organization was impeccable. I want to personally thank Kelvin and Joseph for their magnificent management, and of course, William Godlisten, the driver, who was always attentive, tracking animals and taking us to see the Big Five. With infinite patience, he made our five days unforgettable. Highly recommended.

The safari was incredible and the guide was insanely knowledgeable and skilled at finding animals.
We did an 11 day safari with Meru Slopes and had an incredible time. Our guide was Moody and he was an incredible guide. We saw more on the safari than I could have ever imagined. We saw a 1 month old baby cheetah with its mom, a leopard with its kill in a tree, a group of 3 cheetahs hunt and take down a heart beast, lions mating and fighting, the wildebeest crossing the river during great migration, and a crocodile attack one that did not make it across. On top of that we saw tons of the “big 5” throughout the trip.
And Moody was very good at identifying and pointing out the hundreds of bird spices through the trip. The birds unexpectedly ended up being one of my favorite things to photograph on the trip, especially the beautifully colored Rollers as they hunted.
I cannot overemphasize how incredible of a guide Moody was. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable and good at finding the wildlife but he was also very good at adapting to our goals on the trip. I was doing a lot of photography and he quickly learned what positions would work well for my shots based on the lens I was using. I got a crazy number of incredible shots through the trip because of it.
The places we stayed were also incredible! We mostly stayed in tented camps and really loved them. They strike a good balance of luxury while still getting you access to remote areas of the park. They also went above and beyond to congratulate my parents on their anniversary and my brother on his graduation as the trip was partly a celebration of these 2 events.
I would highly recommend Meru Slopes and especially Moody to anyone looking to take a safari in Tanzania!

An unforgettable safari experience
Our 3-day safari, including the Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater, was one of the most beautiful experiences of our lives.
The landscapes were absolutely breathtaking, and the density and diversity of wildlife exceeded all our expectations. Being surrounded by such incredible nature, with animals living freely in their natural environment, gave us a feeling of being in complete communion with nature. It is an experience we will never forget.
But this safari would not have been the same without the exceptional team who looked after us throughout the trip.
First and foremost, Andrew, our driver and guide, was simply incredible. He knows the parks like the back of his hand, has an amazing ability to find animals, and knows exactly where to go and when to go there. His knowledge, experience, patience and passion made every game drive special. We honestly believe Andrew is one of the best guides you can have in Tanzania.
Andrew was accompanied by Gadiel, our cook, who was absolutely outstanding. He prepared all our meals with great skill, even in the middle of the wilderness. Every meal was delicious and beautifully prepared — far beyond what we expected from a safari.
