An incredible person going above and beyond with her service
I had an amazing experience with pounds safari. A life changing 4 days in the Maasai Mara and lake Nakuru. Loyce went above and beyond with her service and transfers. Special credit to safari driver Dickson who was full of knowledge and made it his mission for us to see every animal possible, couldn’t recommend it more!!

Loise is a legend, such a great organiser and tour leader!
I want to sincerely thank Loise and the team for such a magical experience. Loise took care of us so well and catered to all our needs, and our driver/guide Dickson was so great at getting us close to the animals to get stunning pictures and experiences animal watching. The hot air balloon ride, while optional and quite expensive, was worth absolutely every cent. Ismail was a great pilot and we saw almost every animal you could imagine up close even from the air!
Accommodation was good for the price of the safari, and the food was tasty.
Couldn’t recommend this company any more highly!!

Welcoming, accommodating and ensured everything went smoothly
We completed the 4 day trip through the Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru including the hot air balloon ride! Loise looked after us very well and went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly. Our driver Dickson was amazing and endeavoured we saw all we could! Highly recommend this trip.

Amazing experience in the magnificent nature
We had a 5-day tour to Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and the Hell’s gate.
In Masai Mara, we got to see many animals including lions, elephants, leopards, buffalo, giraffes, etc. Our guide was very experienced and he knows everything about animals.
In the lake Nakuru, we were lucky enough to see some rhinos very closely. The park was more bushy than Masai Mara and it had a different atmosphere from Masai Mara, which we loved so much.
Lake Naivasha was a home to many birds and it has a beautiful island which we walked inside and see animals closely. We also saw a family of hippo when we did a boating in the lake. It was worth doing the boat because we saw many animals in the island from boat, which was very beautiful.
Finally at the hell’s gate, we did a cycling and hiking, which we recommend 100% if you like outdoor activities. It feels so nice to ride a bike in the magnificent nature.
Last but not least, our coordinator Loyce was very helpful and reliable, and we could not be pleased this much without her coordination.
Overall the tour was beyond amazing and I can recommend East Pounds Safari to anyone who wants to go to Safari tour.

Unforgettable Safari Experience with Warm Hospitality
I had an amazing time on this safari tour! I was able to see four of the "Big Five" — lion, leopard, African elephant, and rhinoceros — as well as enjoy a visit to a Maasai Mara village. Louis was very friendly, flexible, and supportive, and on the day of the tour she warmly sent me off. I joined the tour alone as a woman, but I quickly made friends with other travelers and loved sharing these memories together. Overall, the tour was very fulfilling, and I would definitely recommend it to others!

We did our safari with Loyce and George in August 2025. They were so friendly, funny and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond to find all the good spots meaning we got to see all the animals we could have dreamed of. The safari car was very clean and comfortable I highly recommend.

Fantastic guides for a wonderful adventure.
Our 3 day safari with Loyce, George, Charles & Ben was an amazing experience. An African safari has been a childhood dream of mine, & it was finally realised after four weeks of nursing volunteer work. Everything was taken care of by the team, & no request was denied. The cars were comfortable, & there was plenty of cold water. Thank you team, for a wonderful first safari experience. I will be back!

Fantastic Experience!
After a terrible experience with another agency, we contacted Loice of Pounds East Africa Safaris. Despite it being a last-minute request, Loice offered us a very interesting program at a great price. We went on an 11-day safari with her and Charles, our driver and guide, through Kenya's best parks.
The lodges and tented camps were all very good, with excellent food and always hot water. The jeep was comfortable, and Charles always drove carefully and was very attentive to spotting animals even from afar. This allowed us to see lions, giraffes, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, and various birds. At the Masai Mara, we were surrounded by thousands of migrating wildebeests and zebras. A fantastic experience.
Loice accompanied us the entire trip and was always attentive to our needs. She always checked the rooms assigned to us, asking if we liked them. Since my wife has a serious leg problem, at the Masai Mara she had us change our accommodation, which was too far from the restaurant, for one much closer.
Everything went perfectly, and we were more than satisfied.
I absolutely recommend Loice and her agency, Pound's East Africa Safaris.

Excellent experience!
After a very bad experience with another agency, I asked Loice of Pounds East Africa Safaris making me a program for a 10/11 days around the most important Kenya's parks.
Even though I contacted her last minute, she organized for me and my husband a very interesting trip with a very good price.
With Loice and Charles, the driver and guide, we had a wonderful time. All accomodations were very comfortable, with good food and hot water,
The car was comfortable too and Charles drove so carefully. Loice did all the trip with us and she was always attentive to our needs. Because I have problems with a leg, she helped us to change a very distant room from the restaurant to a closer roomin Masai Mara. We always felt safe with her.
Thanks to Charles we saw a lot of lions, my favorite animals, as well as elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, leopards, birds and much more.
I highly recommend Pounds to travel with.

Best guide for group &/or solo travel
Back in 2017 & 2018 on a student trip, Loyce planned a wonderful itinerary covering Maasai Mara, Naivasha, Amboseli and Nakuru. Having such a good experience with Loyce back then, I decided to engage Loyce’s services again when I was traveling solo to Kenya for work.
