Excellent good value private tour for two people
There were two of us, and we had a private safari where we visited Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara, with two nights spent in the Serengeti. The accommodations were impeccable, the safari vehicle was great, and we received excellent service throughout the entire trip.
Our guide, Peter, made our safari fantastic from start to finish, and we wouldn’t have had nearly as wonderful a trip without him. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and taught us so much. He was also amazing at finding big cats.
We saw lots of animals, including the Big Five. We particularly enjoyed Tarangire and the Serengeti. Lake Manyara was not quite as exciting and felt a little small, but it offered a somewhat different landscape, which at least gave us a slightly different experience compared to the other parks.
I can wholeheartedly recommend both Migration Venture Africa and our fantastic guide, Peter!

Quick to respond, Probably most value for money.
We had a 5 days safari to tarangire, Serengeti, ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. We saw a lot of animals, had nice lodges and food were just fine. However, due to long distances on bad roads, I would recommend anyone to consider to fly directly to Serengeti.Or ensure having at least 2 nights stay in the park! We had lodges in Karatu and therefore we had to drive more than necessary, not to recommend. It would have been good to have one night stay before and after the safari nearby Arusha. Apart from that, the drivers try to do their best, but we are spoiled having been to both Uganda ( 2 Years ago) and Masai Mara ( 14 years ago), so we thought the safari in Tanzania was to commersialised! to many vehicles chasing the same animals...Tarangire was in that sence a better choice!

Very Nice Safari Trip!
Everything was perfect! Our guide Izak was very kind, always showed us the best spots, found many animals, good driver and overall a very good guide.
Lodges were very good, felt very comfortable in all of them.

An Unforgettable Safari Experience – Highly Recommended!
We had an absolutely amazing safari and could not have been happier with our choice! Everything was perfectly organized, from the initial communication to the accommodations and the incredible wildlife encounters.
Our guide Nico was simply outstanding!
His knowledge, patience, and especially his incredible eye for spotting animals made our safari truly special. While other guides sometimes drove past an area, Nico took the time to look more closely and discover things we would otherwise have missed. Beyond his professionalism, he was also a genuinely friendly and easygoing person. We quickly felt comfortable with him, and by the end of our safari, he felt more like a friend than just our guide.
As we were on our honeymoon, Nico also went out of his way to make it extra special, arranging thoughtful little details at our accommodations. We really appreciated the personal attention and care he put into making our trip memorable.
The accommodations were an experience in themselves, and we were fortunate to see an incredible variety of wildlife throughout our journey.
Communication with Francis before the safari was equally excellent. Everything was straightforward, and our questions were always answered quickly and helpfully.
Overall, this safari exceeded our expectations and was one of the highlights of our travels.
A huge thank you to the entire team, especially Nico, for making our honeymoon so memorable!
We would book again without hesitation and wholeheartedly recommend this safari to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience in Tanzania!

Amazing experience
We spent six amazing days on safari with Peter, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better guide to share this experience with us.
From the very beginning, Peter was kind, patient and genuinely interested in making sure we enjoyed every moment. He has an incredible knowledge of the animals and the parks, but what we appreciated most was his instinct and the way he could spot things that we would have completely missed. He always took the time to explain what we were seeing and had an answer to all our questions.
We had so many unforgettable moments together — from seeing incredible wildlife up close to simply enjoying the beautiful landscapes of Tanzania. Peter always listened to what we wanted and made us feel comfortable throughout the whole safari.
After spending six days together, Peter felt much more like a friend than just our guide. We are very grateful for everything he did and will always remember this safari and the moments we shared with him.

Overall, very average. Lacking atmosphere and not comfortable.
Rather expensive for what felt like a very average experience. Accommodation was as expected and quite nice. Food was also ok, nothing special.
Vehicle very old, rattly and not very comfortable. One of the oldest we saw. Which was a shame given how long you spend it it every day.
The driver was similar to an Uber driver, hard to communicate in English and lacking detail or any excitement at all. Gave up asking any questions.
The overall experience felt disappointing and lacking given the mid to high range price. Recommend keeping options open.

Excellent guide, friendly well organized company
We booked two day-trips from Moshi, one to Arusha Nationalpark, the other to Tarangire. The organization was very fast, from one day to the other everything was organized. In Arusha-Nationalpark we booked a walking safari, to get in real contact with nature. It was very nice, we could see the great Mount Meru and some smaller animals. After that, on the way to the place where we had lunch (with the car now) we saw a lot of giraffes and had plenty of time to watch. On the way back we saw monkeys and even hippos.
On the second trip we went again with Kiva, who is a great guide. In Tarangire we had lunch with elephants. They did make their lunch break at a little river, drinking, playing, swimming, it was so nice to watch them and again it was not only a short look but plenty of time. Kiva found a lion for us, who was lying under a tree and was not disturbed, what is also very important to me. Thanks to Kiva!!! and Migration Venture Africa. If I go back to Tanzania I would love go with you again!

We had an excellent safari with Migration Venture. Our guide (Kiva) was always listening to our needs and expectations.
We had the possibility to discover all the animals and cultures as expected.

Amazing Guide
We booked a 7-day safari with Khareem via African Migration Ventures, and overall had a fantastic experience.
We booked through Amos, who was very flexible and accommodating when our flights had to be rebooked to different dates due to the situation in the Middle East. He rearranged everything at no extra cost, which we really appreciated. The booking process itself was smooth, although there were a couple of mix-ups with the accommodation, and on two occasions we were provided with accommodation that was different from (and slightly lower in quality than), what we had originally agreed. The documentation that Amos sent, and the narrative wrote in the literature, did cause some confusion, as we had went to Tanzania to see the Great Migration, which the itinerary mentions throughout (and the name of the company alludes too), so not being able to witness this was sad. So just as a point to improve on for the company )perhaps a little less use of AI might be helpful), as well as potential safari-ers when you’re booking.
The safari vehicle was definitely an older model, and this showed at times, as we broke down on several occasions, our guide had to do hasty repairs, and were rescued by three different tour guides! However, we honestly took this as part of the safari adventure, and it didn’t spoil the experience for us at all.
Our guide, Khareem, was absolutely fantastic. He is incredibly kind, friendly and gentle, and made us feel very well looked after throughout the trip. He ensured that we saw all of the Big Five, while also doing his best to accommodate our requests to see specific other animals.
Khareem made sure that our first safari certainly won’t be our last. We had a fantastic experience overall, and if we ever book another safari with African Migration Ventures, we would definitely ask for Khareem specifically.

Average
Overall, the safari itself was a good experience, and the communication team was professional, responsive, and helpful throughout the process.
Unfortunately, the safari driver was the main negative point of our experience. He did not even offer us a bottle of water during the trip, despite the fact that we were traveling with a small child. According to the agreement, food, snacks, or at least drinks were supposed to be included.
What made this even more disappointing was seeing that many other safari vehicles were clearly providing drinks and refreshments to their guests.
Because of this lack of basic care and hospitality from the driver, I am not sure I would choose the same agency again for my next safari trip, even though the communication team and the overall organization were good.
