Amazing adventure
5/5

My girlfriend and I went on the private 4 day safari visiting Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. We had a great guide, Kareem. He knew all the best spots and we managed to see all the animals we wanted. Ngorongoro was really a highlight! Fantastic scenery. One downside was that the timeline was maybe a bit tight, and one more night in Serengeti would have been good.

Going in February/March was really nice with really green nature and not too many tourists. It rained a lot but we were lucky, so it only rained at night.

Migration Venture felt like a good company and we hade lunch boxes every day and good accommodations. staying over night inside Serengeti was really cool.

One complaint is that the Safari car lacked seat belts in the back seat. During the game drive that was fine but we felt a bit unsafe on the mountain roads and the normal highways outside the natural parks.

Very professional and helpful.
5/5

My wife and I signed up for Migration's 8 day safari/Zanzibar and we loved it.

Only caution i would have is to double check with them for any documents like the Zanzibar insurance in hand. I messed up and didnt ask for it, and when we landed I had to cover it out of pocket (thats on me though).

Our driver for the safaris was Alex and he was amazing. He was super professional, gave us plenty of info about the parks and animals and was a highlight of the trip. When we were in the parks, he always got us to the best spots to see the animals and handled any obstacles quickly and professionally.

For Zanzibar, we had Haru, and he was great and professional as well. Even with needing to leave for the airport at 3am on the last day, he was on time and got us to the terminal with plenty of time to spare.

The accommodations they booked were all good and the included food was very good.

Overall we loved our experience with Migration Ventures and we would definitely reccomemd them if you are looking to book a safari.

Very well organised safari with an experienced and knowledgeable guide
5/5

We went in 3 persons to a 2day safari in Tarangire and Manyara Lake. We enjoyed every minute of it with our fantastic guide Israel. He was super nice, extremely knowledgeable about the Masai, about the culture and traditions in general, and and about wildlife in the national parks we visited. He went above and beyond to make us happy and take the best experience of the safaris. We spent the night at the Tarangire Inn place, we enjoyed it there too. Totally recommend SafariBookings!

Amazing safari with Karim – safe, fun, great camps. Highly recommended!
5/5

We had an amazing safari experience and were truly impressed from start to finish. Everything was very well organized, and we always felt safe and well taken care of. Even though we faced some weather challenges, it didn’t take away from the experience at all – we still had so much fun and created unforgettable memories.

A special thank you to Karim, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and ambitious. He explained everything in detail and always answered our questions. If he wasn’t sure about something, he took the time to research it and give us the correct information later. He always did his very best to make sure we could see the animals in the best possible way, reacting quickly and positioning the car perfectly.

We only booked the safari itself without any additional activities, and for us that was absolutely perfect. The experience was complete just as it was. We also had WiFi in the car at all times, which was a great extra and very convenient. All the camps we stayed at were really good, and we always felt safe and comfortable.

We were all absolutely thrilled and would highly recommend this safari. Thank you for this unforgettable adventure – we would definitely come back!

Migration Venture is an exceptional tour operator that delivers an unforgettable experience
5/5

We had an absolutely incredible safari experience, and so much of that was thanks to our amazing guide, Joseph. He was knowledgeable, polite, and extremely friendly from start to finish. We were fortunate to see so many animals up close, including the Big 5 and much more. This was often due to his experience, insight into the park landscape, and knowledge of the best spots for sightings.
Beyond the wildlife, he generously shared fascinating insights into the local culture and language and also brought us to a local souvenir shop where we were able to get the best deals. The itinerary was flexible, including customising our trip to include a stop in Ndutu. The trip was well paced, and Joseph ensured there were ample rest stops and toilet breaks along the way.
One of the highlights was the sunrise hot air balloon experience, complete with champagne and a bush breakfast, which was organised as part of our package. Airport pick-ups and transfers were included, water and all meals were provided each day, helping to make the trip stress-free from arrival to departure.
We would highly recommend Joseph & Migration Venture to anyone looking for a truly exceptional safari experience.

The safari of a lifetime
5/5

Our safari experience was truly exceptional thanks to our guide Israel. From the very first day, it was clear that he is not only an outstanding professional but also an incredibly kind and genuine person.

The safari itself was incredibly complete. We had the opportunity to see an incredible variety of animals in their natural habitat. Israel explained everything with great clarity and answered all our questions, his knowledge of wildlife is simply extraordinary. You could feel how deeply he loves nature and how much respect he has for the animals and the environment.

What makes Israel even more remarkable is that, despite dealing with personal difficulties during our time together, he never let it affect his work in the slightest. On the contrary, he remained attentive, positive, patient, and fully committed to making our safari unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide, and we will always remember this experience thanks to Israel.

Woke up excited every morning – that’s the sign of a perfect trip.
5/5

From the flexible pickup in Arusha to the incredible driver who was both skilled and lovely to talk to — everything was perfect. Great value, stunning lodges, delicious food, and no issues with transport.
The only tip: book early so you get a lodge close to the park — otherwise you’ll spend extra time driving before the game starts (or after).
We saw tons of animals, the views were unreal, and we were genuinely sad when it ended. Highly recommend!

Wow what an experience!
5/5

We went with this safari company as we wanted a locally based operator to support the Tanzanian community and economy.
Our guide Peter, met us at the airport. Everything was well organised with lovely accommodation, the safari camp in the Serengeti was particularly stunning.
Peter never clocked watched and ensured we had the maximum time in the various parks. I was overwhelmed with just how much wildlife we saw, truly incredible. Peter was patient and thoughtful, his English was adequate, he could explain about the animals and environment.
There is a lot of driving so the jeep became our second home. Each hotel provided pack lunches the next day which were fine. Every meal we had was good, no dodgy stomachs and every toilet was very clean!
The whole safari experience is geared up for tourists. I would not like to go in high season when there can be 2000 plus jeeps in the parks. This is overwhelming for the animals.
The Masai visit was ok but they are geared up to charge exorbitant prices for mass produced tourist tat - be warned !
We had a far more rewarding and remarkable experience with the Hadzabe tribe - incredible to go on a hunt with a group of young men.
I would recommend to is smaller safari provider if you want a high quality experience with a great itinerary where you will see so many animals and stunning vistas.

Excellent experience with great guide

Tour 5/5

We went on 5 day private safari inc. Tarangerie, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. This was an experience of a lifetime! We were lucky to see the Big5 and plenty of other animals. Our guide Alex made excellent job making sure that we had all the best spots to see the animals; lions, elephants and giraffes were right next to our car (Land Cruiser).

Also all of the accommodations were nice, staff friendly and food good.
However, you can expect bit longer drives/commuting if you’re staying outside of the parks. If shorter commuting is important to you, make sure to check the locations of the accommodations from the internet. I’m sure the company can help you to find suitable options between locations and prices.

Communications 4/5
-Easiest way to communicate with the company is via email or WhatsApp
-Amos was quick to respond
-You can expect that passport information is required after confirming the booking
-Bit more detailed daily schedule could have been helpful (though you can present preference also during the tour after arrival)

Service 5/5
-Your guide will be waiting for you when you arrive to the airport and after that you and your luggage is taken care of. You can expect stress free service
-Alex was considerate and polite and we felt safe when he was driving. He knows very much about the animals and can tell you interesting facts about the local nature and culture

Reliability 5/5
-No issues, felt safe booking with this company and everything went smoothly
-Car was bit old but worked without problems

Thank you Migration Venture Africa and special thanks to our guide Alex “the super vision” for spotting all the animals and making our trip memorable!
