Amazing 6 Day Marangu Trek
We recently did the 6 day Marangu Route with Migration Venture Africa Ltd. We are glad that we found this company because they organized one of the best treks that we’ve done in a long time. We sent a number emails to both local and international tour operators specializing with Kilimanjaro and got 4 responses. We compared the prices and found that Migration Venture Africa Ltd had the second best offer but upon checking their TripAdvisor and safaribookings pages they had the best reviews. We took a leap of faith and opted to do trek with them.
This company is very thorough, everything about them is topnotch. We got very detailed information in our preparation for the Trek including a detailed itinerary, Kilimanjaro packing list, health and vaccinations requirements and even a 2 day safari option after the trek.
We arrived in Tanzania on a late flight and Shaffi who was also our guide waiting for us. He took us to our hotel and even waited for us to check in so that he could crosscheck our gear before the climb. We also had mini briefing with him. During the Climb Shaffi and his team of guides, porters and cooks were exceptionally good. We were guided through the various habitats on our way to the summit. The cooks made great food, serving us different delicacies on different days. We also had oxygen level checks in the morning and evening on all days.
We all made it to the summit it is such a beautiful experience that we will treasure for a long time.
Migration Venture Africa Ltd is a great company and spared no effort to get us to the summit safely and I will be always grateful. I recommend them without any reservations.

A great adventure, well run
Spend the day biking through a national park, with a reliable and friendly guide and driver to follow. The experience was unique, as we saw some giraffe and passed local Maasai herding their animals. It was safe too, we had plenty of water and a driver following us incase something came up. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a travel fitness adventure.

Amazing Experience!
Our private trek tour hiking Lemosho route for 8 days with Migration Venture Africa was the best choice we could have made as beginners. Our guide was very friendly, patient, uplifting, funny, very supportive and helpful he gave us the time we needed and we could not have made it to the summit without his support. Thanks again to our guide Mushi! The porters were amazing too. We had delicious foods during the whole trip and basically everything was well arranged.
Even though it was very tough for us, we felt like the queens of Mount Kilimanjaro because of the great service.
Trekking on Mount Kilimanjaro was an Amazing experience!

From Amos greeting us at the Kilimanjaro airport, to Guides, and all of the porters and our cook helping us on our 7 days hike up Mount Kilimanjaro.
They run a very competent and professional Kilimanjaro climbing company that supplied us with everything we needed to succeed on our summiting Mount Kilimanjaro hiking the Machame route. Our expectations were regularly exceeded with all aspects of our trip! The food was fantastic, the tents and sleeping bags kept us warm and the charming personalities of the whole team who took much enjoyment in helping us because they clearly love their jobs! We were treated amazingly well.
This is the only company I would use to climb Mount Kilimanjaro again.

The Amazing Trip
An amazing trip to remember. We did the Kilimanjaro Rongai route 7 days and summited Dec 12.
All the organizational parts were very great. Quick and good response from Amos whenever we had questions or worries. Extremely great team on the mountain - everybody from the chef, to guides and porters were very friendly. The food was fantastic.
We were a group of 10 and we all made it to the top. When someone needed an extra pause or had to walk in a slower pace the guides didn't push unnecessarily - but just enough to go an extra mile and then some. There was good spirit and patience. I felt that we were in very good hands and it was a true pleasure also to get to know the guides.
It was an amazing, spectacular and a deep-felt beautiful experience.
Yes, at times a trip like this can have challenges but there is no company we would have rather been with than Migration Venture Africa.

Better Experience Than I Could Have Ever Asked For!!
Let me first begin by saying that Amos saved our trip! To make a long story short, we had originally booked our 6-day Machame trek and 3-day safari through another company, which we discovered had gone out of business one week prior to our departure. After calling various numbers trying to get ahold of someone with our prior company, we came across Amos who was the first one to answer. He went above and beyond for us, even trying to contact the company himself (and going by their local office), ultimately to confirm to us that they were in fact no longer in operation. Given that we had lost our initial deposit and were one week out from the trip, Amos offered to match the prices given to us for the exact climb and safari and even allowed us to pay upon arrival rather than pay in advance (although we ended up paying in advance so we did not have to travel with the money and had no issues). Amos also personally picked us up from the airport to help ensure to us that they were a company that we could trust.
We had the most amazing trek and made it to the top of the mountain all due to our incredible guides, Siza and Niko, amazing porters, and cooks. The trek and safari were extremely well organized, especially for the last minute nature of our booking with Migration Venture Africa. Our safari driver was very knowledgable and our hotel in Moshi and lodge during the safari were very nice as well. After both the climb and safari, Amos stopped by our hotel in Moshi to check in with us and see how our trip was going - by far the best customer service I have ever received anywhere. We had an amazing trip with no complaints at all and never once felt unsafe with any individual who helped us or at any of the places we visited or stayed. I could not imagine booking the trip with another company and am so thankful that we stumbled across Amos' number and found this company. We wouldn't recommend booking a trip to Tanzania with anyone else!
