Unforgettable experience of Safari and Kilimanjaro climbing
5/5

We had a pleasure to experience 7 days Kilimanjaro hike via Lemosho route and 4 day Safari in Tarangire, Serengheti and Ngorongoro parks with Kilimanjaro Heroes Adventures and it was perfect.

4 day Safari in Tarangire, Serengheti and Ngorongoro parks

Driver and guide: Jamal was our driver and guide for these 4 days of safari. Jamal is an amazing person. He was very concerned about our safety, well-beeing and was doing everything possible to maximize our experiense. We had plenty of time to watch all animals, he was stopping every time when we asked him, he was looking for animals and was able to name each of them. He also told us a lot of ineteresting facts abouts animals we met and tried to answer all our questions. I had a feeling that we were a group staying the longest time with animals and making more stops than others. He never told us that we are in the rush and let us enjoy every moment. Jamal seems to be really passionate about his job and we could feel it.

Food: we had our own chef Walter travelling with us. The food was great. Everything was very tasty, always warm and fresh plus refreshing drinks from fridge on board. Big thanks to Walter.

Experience: we visited three parks: Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengheti. We were very lucky in each of them - meeting a family of around 30 adult and young elephants in Tarangire, lions resting just 5 meters from our car in Serengheti, hundreds or even thousands of zebras and wild beasts and a family of lions (2 males, 3 females, 7 babies of different age) in Ngorongoro, zebra blocking our road on the way to the city was our top, but we've seen much more than that. That was unforgettable, big thank you to Jamal, Walter and Kilimanjaro Heroes for organising such a great adventure for us.

7 days Kilimanjaro hike via Lemosho route

For two of us we had 2 guides, 1 cook and 8 porters to carry our staff. From start to finish, this adventure was nothing short of unforgettable, and a major part of that was due to the professionalism and dedication of our amazing guides, Domi and Boni.

Guides: Domi and Boni were not only knowledgeable and experienced in all things Kilimanjaro, but they also exuded positivity and encouragement throughout the trek. Their passion for the mountain and commitment to ensuring each of us reached the summit was evident in every interaction.

Food: The food provided by our cook was great. Every meal was delicious and hot, which was a welcome comfort after long days of hiking.

Porters: I'd also like to highlight the incredible efforts of the porters. They worked tirelessly to carry all our baggage, set up our tents, and maintain a comfortable campsite for us. Their hard work and dedication did not go unnoticed, they were always smiling and ready to assist in any way possible, making our trek not only enjoyable but also stress-free.

Experience: Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Kilimanjaro Heroes Adventures to anyone looking to conquer Kilimanjaro. With exceptional guides like Domi and Boni, delicious food, and a dedicated team of porters, this company ensures that every climber feels valued and supported. Thank you for an amazing journey!

The communication, the transparency and how upfront everything was and how communicative everyone has been is so huge anytime or anything you needed or had to get a hold of someone they were so responsive. The money for what you all get is so beyond worth every penny the full 3 huge meals a day the care from the chef and the guide the tents and the locations just so surreal everyone needs to try and to choose Adventure Hereos as they are the best

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I can't express enough how phenomenal our experience was with Kilimanjaro Heroes Adventures! From the moment we began planning our trip to the final descent, every detail was handled with expertise and care.

First off, the team at Kilimanjaro Heroes Adventures are true professionals. They're not just guides; they're seasoned adventurers who know the ins and outs of every trail and peak like the back of their hands. Our guides, Mwinyi, Calvin, Gloria & McTemba were hands down the best of the best. Their knowledge of the mountain, its flora and fauna, and the local culture enriched our journey tenfold. Not to mention, their infectious enthusiasm kept our spirits high even during the toughest stretches of the trek.

Speaking of the trek, wow! Kilimanjaro is a beast of a mountain, but with Kilimanjaro Heroes Adventures, we felt supported every step of the way. The routes were carefully planned to maximize acclimatization and enjoyment. And the scenery—breathtaking doesn't even begin to cover it. From lush rainforests to otherworldly alpine deserts, every turn presented a new marvel.

Safety was a top priority for Kilimanjaro Heroes Adventures, and it showed. The equipment provided was top-notch, the campsites were clean and well-maintained, and the team constantly monitored our health and well-being. We always felt secure, allowing us to focus on soaking in the beauty of our surroundings.

And let's not forget about the food! I was genuinely surprised by the quality and variety of meals prepared for us on the mountain. From hearty breakfasts to delicious dinners, the chefs (thank you, Chef James!!!) at Kilimanjaro Heroes Adventures made sure we were well-fed and energized for the journey ahead.

A Remarkable Adventure in Tanzania
5/5

Our journey with Kilimanjaro Heroes was terrific. What began as planning a trek for 2 up Kilimanjaro via the 8-day Lemosho route evolved into a trek for 7 to the summit and also a 6-day safari for 4 of our party. What truly sets Kilimanjaro Heroes apart is their responsiveness, flexibility, and dedication to ensuring an unparalleled adventure.
From the outset, communication was seamless. The provision of a local US telephone number made coordinating with a Tanzania-based company effortless, eliminating the need for costly intermediaries. This direct line of communication proved invaluable, especially as our group expanded from 2 to 7 individuals and our itinerary transformed to include both the trek and safari.
During the ascent of Kilimanjaro, the local team's commitment to our success was unwavering. Despite encountering altitude sickness among three members of our group, the guides and porters went above and beyond to ensure everyone reached the summit safely. Their support was truly remarkable, from daily medical checks to the guides even carrying the day packs of those struggling on the final ascent—a testament to their dedication and expertise.
Moreover, the personalized touches extended beyond the trek itself. Arriving a day early in Tanzania, some members of our group ventured to explore Arusha National Park, while others opted for rest after the long journey. Unexpectedly, those who remained behind were treated to a tour of Moshi by our guide, providing a glimpse into local life and culture—an unexpected highlight of our trip.
For those short on time and seeking a safari experience, Arusha National Park offers an abundance of wildlife, including different types of monkeys, elephants, cape buffalo, giraffe, etc. alongside the opportunity for a walking safari—an ideal option for a condensed wildlife encounter.
When it comes to the safari portion of the journey, we recommend booking early, as accommodations in the various safari parks fill up quickly. Our late booking necessitated more driving than necessary. For visits to the Serengeti, opting to fly back can save valuable time, eliminating an extra 5 hours in the car—a consideration worth considering.
In summary, our experience with Kilimanjaro Heroes was terrific. From the initial planning stages, marked by flexibility and responsiveness to accommodate multiple changes, to the successful summit of Kilimanjaro and the unforgettable safari adventure, For those seeking an adventure of a lifetime in Tanzania, Kilimanjaro Heroes is definitely worth considering.

Impressive Crew!
5/5

We recently embarked on a journey to conquer Kilimanjaro, and while reaching the summit remained elusive, the experience was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to the incredible crew and guides (especially Emmanuel) who made it all possible.

From the moment we set foot on the mountain, the team's professionalism and dedication were evident. Our guides, with their wealth of knowledge about the terrain and local culture, ensured our safety and comfort throughout the trek. Their encouragement and support kept our spirits high even when the altitude presented its greatest challenges.

Although we didn't reach the summit, every step of the journey felt like an achievement, thanks to the unwavering camaraderie among our fellow hikers and the inspiring guidance of our crew.

Moreover, the logistical aspects of the trip were seamlessly handled, allowing us to focus solely on the experience. The quality of the equipment provided, the delicious meals prepared under challenging conditions, and the attention to detail in every aspect of the journey reflected the team's commitment to excellence.

It was the best adventure.
5/5

The guide always encouraged me. The chef provided a sufficient amount of food every day. My appetite decreased due to altitude sickness, and I couldn't eat everything.Still, the meal was wonderful.
At Hut, They taught me Tanzanian-style chess, and I was happy to feel like I was exposed to the culture. And Hakuna Matata's song is my favorite.
