Great Service, Great Guide, Perfect Planning
Planning the trip and the safari, Benson was very helpful and super friendly! Very fast replies and great service. We were picked up at the airport on time, taken to the hotel. Next morning our Safari began. Fantastic guide, very friendly and lots of information. Good camps. Everything went well. Would highly recommend Benson!

The absolute perfect way to explore the great parks/reserves of Tanzania!
Our experience with Benson was impeccable. He was direct and prompt in answering all of our questions via email, booking and payment was effortless, and the organization and follow-through was outstanding. You will not be disappointed in a trip organized by them.
Our guide for the 5 days, Jeff, was fantastic. His English was clear and great, he accurately sensed our moods of when we wanted to hear a lot of information versus when we would just appreciate the quiet time to observe. We really appreciated his excellent driving skills and regards for safety and security. You could also tell that he advocated on our behalf with any of the interactions that were in Swahili.
The accommodations that we stayed in were incredible, especially Kubu Kubu Tented Camp (best shower, EVER). Everything was clean, cared for, and well-maintained. The food local and delicious.

Stunning safari with great guide and service
Great experience. I can highly recommend Benson Safaris. Benson arranged everything for us and the communication was very good and fast. We had an excellent driver and guide.
I would recommend to pay by Credit Card as the bank in Tanzania (Barclays) can't handle a transfer via IBAN.

Our Tanzanian Honeymoon Was Perfect
We have organized our honeymoon with Benson Safari and they have been always responsive and considered in the reservation process. They went the extra mile to take care of us, helping us to craft the perfect itenerary for us adding and removing based on our request.
Our guide, Jeff, was amazing. He could answer all my question about geology, geography, migration, wildlife managment, animals and birds. He also answered all of my question about trees as well. Not only a perfectly rounded guide but knowledgeable on all grounds.
He spotted the big five and two cheethas. Caught a group of lions by looking at one beta male, and understanding the roaring heard the previous night was a warning from the alpha male. Then saw the group at over 500 metres distance.
We also asked him to take us out for a local dine and a lesson of learning and discovery and it was great.
Memory of a lifetime and great experience.

A dream come true!
My two sons and me had a wonderful experience on a one-week safari that took us to Tarangire, Lake Natron, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. From our arrival at Kilimanjaro airport to our departure, Bensons Safaris Tanzania have made sure that this trip would be fantastic, and they succeeded! A great, pleasant and highly competent guide, a vehicle in perfect condition, the right lodge/camp choices, everything was designed perfectly. And the progression in our trip was well thought out, as every day there was something new, different, something more, giving us the experience of an immensely diverse country. Actually we were continuously asking our guide Issa how he would make it that the next day would be different and better. And every day he had the solution. So we can only recommend Benson and his team for anyone who wants to get a full experience of Northern Tanzania and its wonderful parks. Congratulations and many thanks.

Absolutely fabulous experience
We traveled with Benson Safari during the month of December for a three day safari in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Creator. From the moment we contacted Benson, we had an excellent experience. Benson responded promptly to all of our questions and emails (even late at night), provided us with several options for our trip, and was helpful in providing information about what we could expect. Similarly to the attention we received via email communication, everything on the ground was smooth--staff were prompt in picking us up from airports and hotels, all of the staff were friendly, and, most importantly, all of the vehicles used were well maintained. Our guide for the safari was patient with us and our questions, had a fabulous sense of humor, and communicated with other guides to ensure that we had a chance to see the animals we wanted to (even though, sometimes it's just pure luck!). Benson also organized a trip for us to Zanzibar, where we had another guide. Similarly, the vehicle was in outstanding condition and the guide was knowledgeable and helpful in all aspects of our time in Zanzibar.
I would absolutely suggest Benson Safari for your experience in Tanzania!

Excellent experience in wild africa with knowledgeable guide!
We chose Benson because he was super responsive to our needs, responded quickly and gave us a wonderful description of our plans. Then during our trip our guide Peter turned out to be Superb! He was friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the land, the people, and the area. He even has a great stoic sense of humor that made our vacation even more memorable! I highly recommend this travel agency and Peter as a guide! As women we felt independent, yet supported in a different culture than our own. It was a wonderful way to see another culture and enjoy an amazing safari!

Exellent safari with nice and knowledgeable guide
We booked the safari online. We told Benson about our needs and he put together a good package for us. Everything went as planed and promised. Our driver/guid, David, met us the day before and told us about the plan for the trip. He was very nice and knew a lot about the animals in the parks and where to find them. Experienced Mt. Hanang, Tarangire, Mt. Meru and Serengeti - guided professionally and friendly
Benson put a lot of effort into planning the triop with us, adjusting for our requirements.
His friendly and knowledgeable guides, both for climbing and for safaries, gave us experiences of Tanzania that we will treasure the rest of out lives. Alle the people he involved were focused on making our trip enjoyable, from the porters and drivers, the cook and the guides. The hotels and tent camps used were also very nice with prefessional and nice staff.
Climbing Mt Hanang, and tenting alone at 3000 meters under the starts, looking out on the lights and fires on the plain far below us was unforgettable, and the sunriese at the peak was great.
Tarangire had a lot to offer, and we saw it all, including lions. elephants giraffes.....
Having climbed Kilimanjaro earlier, we were excited to look back on it from Meru at beautifuk sunrise. We had a gret climb, through Arusha national park with close encounters with giraffes and buffaloes.
Finally Serengiti was presented to us in the best way. Two lovely tent camps, and abundant wildlife, where the safari guide really knew where to go and what to show us.

All expectations fulfilled!
We chose Benson because he responded very professionally and timely to our requests through all planning stages. We were two couples travelling together for 13 days. Our itinerary was rather complex and included climbing Mt Hanang and Mt Meru, safari in Tarangire and Serengeti. This required several drivers, cars, guides and porters,and a lot of travel by car. Yet everything went according to plan. Everyone was friendly, and thanks to the guides' knowledge and assistance we reached mountain peaks and gained deeper understanding of both people and animals in this wonderful country of Tanzania.
