Awesome Safari Exceeded Expectations
5/5

Endless array of widelife was observed from the big game to the many variety of birds. Guide was extremely knowleadgable and patient in waiting for us to take our many photgraphs. Captured many phots of a lifetime. Accomadation in the lodges also exceeded my expectation. Would definately recommend Mega Adventures to anyone heading out on Safari.

Poor Communication
3/5

While I really enjoyed my safari, I felt that Mega Adventures wasn't exactly honest with us about what we were getting. This safari was a little more expensive than other options, so we were hoping it would be higher quality service. Two out of the four in our group were vegetarians, and we confirmed multiple times that we would need vegetarian food for them and were promised that this would happen - our first lunch was fried chicken and our guide & cook had no idea that any of us were vegetarian. They also convinced us to sign up for a "walking safari" and sold it as an awesome up close experience with the animals - when we started the safari the guide told us "no, we never see animals here" - so we just felt cheated. I really liked our guide and our chef Massawe was amazing, but the overall organization was poor and no one accepted any responsibility for these mistakes - no apology, just passing the blame to someone else.

Dear Ashley,

Thanks for the information about your experience. We highly apologized for the first day lunch package was overlooked by your guide. The office had well informed him. This was communicated with your friend and we agreed he will be accountable for it and a refund for the lunch be done after safari together with a treat. We agreed upon meeting at our office to discuss the matter we still are waiting for this chance.

The walking safari on the crater rim is mainly for scenery, this was briefed at the office, up close to wildlife is what you can experience on a walking safari in Tarangire. However to just let you know that nothing can rule nature we can never guarantee anything in the wilderness since its not a zoo. We have had clients see Lions, Giraffes, Zebras on the same walk you did.

I hope you appreciated the better grade of service we offer apart from the lunch packaging mistake.

Great experience with Mega Adventure. The guide and the cook were very nice and professional. The safari was well organized and corresponded with what we had agreed on. The explanations about animals and wild life were very interesting and relevant. The food was delicious. We would book again with Mega Adventure without hesitation !

Four day safari to Tarangire, Serengetti and Ngorongoro was on of the best adventures we have had!!!
5/5

Our guide was outstanding! Deep knowledge of the wildlife (including birds!!!), culture and history. He sought out and found so many animals and birds for us, just amazing. Even at the end of the rainy season we managed to see four of the big five. Shared great stories with us, great humor too. He was so patient with us taking pictures and stopping so many times:) I think this was a record for us for the number of photos on any trip. We really enjoyed the picnic lunches! The accommodation was way beyond what we were expecting. Really beautiful lodges with super staff, excellent food. I would highly recommend Mega Adventures to all of my friends. Thank you for making our family trip to Tanzania so special. Cheers!

Thanks to Mohamed for successfully arranging "last minute" safari.
Our Mubarak is professional, serious, and kind.
The lodges where we stayed were clean and comfortable and had amazing views.
Everything's better then expectation, we really enjoyed the safari though very short.

I experienced good hospitality, great food & every animal I could wish in their natural environment
5/5

From the start of introductions to the other participants of the safari I knew we would have an enjoyable trip. Our guide - Ali - was professional and approachable, the cook - Messji - was friendliness himself.
Throughout our safari everyone participated, guests, Ali and Messji towards making each task an adventure. Ali seemed to have a natural link to the animals and their whereabouts. Each bend of the road gave new surprises, who honestly could not have made more sightings of the beasts. Everyone of them was "crossed off " all I ever wanted to see - I saw.
In the evenings the food was ready and prepared for us, all of us hungry after a full day out - we were not disappointed, each evening meal (3 courses) was delicious and tastefully presented by Messji in his brilliantly white uniform complete with Chef's hat, he was great! The breakfasts were just as professionally done.
In short I had the trip of a lifetime. Everything went smoothly, I saw the animals I had wanted to see and generally really enjoyed myself thanks to Ali and Messji. It was a great trip, I can recommend it to anyone. thank you!

Top experience
5/5

In december 2016 we were in the most comfortable situation that we could climb the Kilimanjaro with our sons. A real happening that we have been looking forward to for a long time. We were attended by a friend on the company Mega Adventures. Everything was pre arranged through the mail and it felt very good. Our expectations were not disappointed. The climb was superb and the support of Mega Adventures in this was excellent. Super guides, good materials, excellent food, superb planning. And in the background Mohamed Atik was a great support(er). We were very happy to have selected Mega Adventures, our experience was one of the greatest. Thanks a lot guys.
