Agama Tours and Safaris -The Excelelnt Tours company
5/5

In October 2013 my wife and I went to Tanzania on a safari. I was just so happy about the the service from Agama Tours and Safaris, I felt I had to share it with other people.
A couple months in advance I reached Kabalo from Agama Tours and Safaris. The gentleman quickly responded my booking email, gave me all information about the safari, what we would need and other advice. We went for a 5 day safari through Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti. When I had questions he was easy to reach. The safari just went very smoothly, no complications or trouble. The car was in great shape, they cleaned it every day of the safari. The driver was very knowledgable, the food was fantastic! My wife and I very satisfied! Highyl recommend everybody to contact Kabalo if you want an excellent wildlife safari. Thank you very much Agama Tours

Serengeti Safari with Agama Tours and Safaris Company
5/5

I decided at the last minute to fit in a Serengeti Safari, Agama were very quick to respond with a schedule and a very reasonable quote. My driver and cook were very helpful and friendly, the food was great. A camping safari is always an adventure, and I was well informed where there would be charging facilities and hot/cold showers. The vehicle was not brand new, but perfectly acceptable. Saw the big 5, plus heaps of amazing things.

Very good budget safari
5/5

I went on a very good budget safari organized by the owners of Agama. Am currently volunteering at their orphanage. Lara organized for me a 5 day camping safari. Everything explained perfectly for me, no bad surprises. Great service for a budget safari. Recommend anybody to contact the Agama team.

Agama 5 day safari
5/5

We've just come home from an amazing 5-day private safari. It was a very pleasant journey. Our guide Samson was very nice and knew everything about nature and all the animals we have seen. The guide and cook also provided great service and nice meals, always asking if we were satisfied or needed anything else. We tasted real African food, which gave the safari an extra dimension. We would definitely recommend Agama to our friends, because it's a great safari for a very reasonable price.

Awesome experience of great nature
4/5

This was the first time for me doing a safari and it definitely exceeded my expectations. The hostels we stayed at outside of the parks were far better than I anticipated for the low price we payed and the two nights sleeping in tents in the middle of Serengeti where the best outdoor experience of the trip even though I got a fever one of the evenings.
On our arrival day we had problems with getting to our first accommodation in Karatu (where we where supposed to stay at the orphanage that Agama tours is supporting) because the police did not allow us to drive after dark for some reason. But we did not have to pay any extra money although we had to stay at another place than was the plan and it was not in the power of our driver to get us to Karatu that evening.
Our guide was great and we got to see a lot of animals on our 5 days of safari around Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorogoro. The best was seeing two lion brothers in Serengeti just beside the road with not a single car in sight. Being an nature nerd, my only complain was not learning more about the animals and over all nature, we got to see it but that was pretty much it. If I go on another safari in the future I would like to include a walking safari or canoeing one day to really be in the nature and also be able to see the small things that you miss from the car window. That's why the best thing was camping in the park, I would just want to have more of that.

Fantastic in every way
5/5

Just came back from an unforgettable trip in Tanzania. After an endless search on the internet of a fitting tour operator, Agama Tours and Safaris stood out from the rest. Their warm and accurate answering was one thing but meeting them in person was like seeing my family. Our guide, Felisi was terrific. I feel I learned so much about the animals and the rest of Tanzania with him, lots of knowledge and experience and what more, just incredibly entertaining!
Highlight of the trip would be the lioness with her cubs walking right beside our car, just incredible! I feel so lucky to have seen the big 5 on my trip, although the rhinos we saw were very far away, I couldn't have asked for a better trip! Great guide and crew, great management team and nice to know they do this for a wonderful purpose- housing some of Tanzanias orphan children. I recommend anybody out there considering a safari in Tanzania to choose Agama Tours

Fantastic, well organized
5/5

My family and i, total 12 people applied with safaribookings. First time to Tanzania for all of us. We contacted 5 different operators and ended on Agama, best response and offer. The outcome was no different. A well organized private luxury 8 day tour was tailored for us perfectly. Comfortable luxurious accommodation, everthing according to plan as we had discussed over email. The guide who lead our safari was very skilful, competent and safe. We were fortunate enough to see the wildbeest migration which was truly amazing. We give many thanks to the nice couple who managed this for us. Hope to come again some day! We highly recommend Agama Tours and Safaris
