Bison Safaris made our first trip to Kenya absolutely unforgettable! From the very beginning, Ms. Maggie, the owner, went above and beyond to ensure we had a seamless and personalized experience. She was always quick to respond to our questions and took the time to understand our needs and interests.
We chose the 4-day Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Lake Naivasha safari, and it turned out to be the highlight of our Kenya trip! The wildlife was absolutely stunning—seeing the majestic animals in their natural habitat left us in awe.
Our stay at Simba Oryx Lodge in Masai Mara was particularly special. To our surprise, Maggie arranged for the staff to celebrate our wedding anniversary with a beautiful cake! The staff even sang for us, which was such a heartwarming and memorable moment. It was such a thoughtful gesture that truly made us feel special.
The safari itself was well-organized. On the first day, we didn’t have a game drive, but Maggie suggested visiting the Maasai tribe village, and it was an eye-opening experience we’re glad we didn’t miss. The full-day game drive on the second day was incredible, and we got to see so much wildlife up close.
On the third day, we were supposed to stay at Buraha Zenoni Hotel, but since it was under renovation, they moved us to Hilton Court Resort and Spa. Both accommodations generously upgraded us to higher room categories at no extra cost, which made our stay even more comfortable.
Our driver, Dennis, was fantastic—skilled, friendly, and honest. He even returned a mobile phone we accidentally left in the car. For the safari vehicle, I highly recommend Maggie’s Land Cruiser for maximum comfort, especially if you’re traveling in a group.
This trip exceeded all our expectations, thanks to Maggie’s careful planning and attention to detail. I can’t wait to book another safari with Bison Safaris and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and personalized experience. Thank you, Maggie and team, for an anniversary and safari we’ll never forget!

What a dream to visit the Maasai Mara!
We took a 3-day safari to the Maasai Mara and although we were only really on the safari for 1 full day, it was enough time to see everything we had ever dreamed of and in a land cruiser jeep (much better than those vans!). We also did the Maasai Village visit to see the life of the Maasai people. Saw many animals in the reserve especially the big cats, had a great time getting creative with photography, the budget camp lodging was simple but great (the staff kind), the food was very generous (all meals were included in those 3 days from departure to arrival), and the communication with Lawrence / Maggie was smooth and efficient.
Note that you will be grouped with other people as we booked a budget joining tour. Overall, our group was great because we met other travelers like us that made the experience better but there were also some people in the group which I would prefer not to have to be with but that's the price for joining a tour like this and the price was reasonable / maybe one of the lower priced ones we saw all around so its to be expected.
I would recommend this tour if you're limited in time or budget. And thanks to the team at Bison Safari for their assistance!

Excellent private Safari by Edward!
My friend and I arranged a 2 day Safari to the Masai Mara with Edward who was our driver and Guide in a private Landcruiser.
Edward was excellent and always kept us updated, made lots of interesting stops to break up the journey and he was kind and respectful throughout.
He knew where to find the animals once we were in the Mara and we were able to see most of the "Big 5"in just one day. He provided lots of useful information throughout and listened to us well with what we wanted to see.
Doing a Safari once in the Masai Mara is a once in a lifetime opportunity and is not to be missed if you get the chance. I had a great experience and would highly recommend!

Safari days were amazing.
David our guide IS THE BEST. He did his best to see big five and we did it ( leopard, white and black Rhino twice :))
Communication with Maggie is great, she helped us every time we need even when we finished our safari.
Accommodation and food, by a very good price, were better than other tourist (who paid more with other companies)

Amazing
Our experience with Bison safari was amazing. We really appreciate the contact we’ve had through out the time, and the communication has been wonderful. Our driver Jeff was amazing, and thanks to him we saw everything we wanted to see. He went out of his way to show me elephants specifically because I didnt join the morning drive because of a hot air baloon safari and missed out on the elephants. After I saw them thanks to Jeff my safari was complete and I’ve made memories for life with my fiance.
The hot air balloon was also arranged by Bison safari, and it was the most magical moment of my life. Highly recommend doing it while you’re in Masai Mara. You get a lot for the money!
