One of the best tours I’ve ever joined in my lives!
We were probably like many other travellers, unsure which tour company to choose as most itineraries looked very similar. When we contacted Bison, Maggie replied quickly and professionally, and we immediately felt reassured. Unlike some operators who try to cut corners or overcharge, Bison offered us a fair and reasonable price, which gave us confidence in their honesty from the start.
As for the safari itself, it was absolutely AMAZING. Even though our group arrived in Nairobi at different times, our tour guide, Mike, went to the airport early to ensure he collected everyone. He even patiently waited while we queued for SIM cards and cash withdrawals.
Mike was truly exceptional. He is kind-hearted, thoughtful and a very skilled driver. Despite us having a lot of luggage, he tried to fit everything inside the vehicle, even giving up space for his own bag, rather than simply putting it on the roof. On the road, he navigated rough terrain safely and with great skill. Out on the game drives, his sharp eyesight helped us spot so many animals and he shared fascinating knowledge about them.
I personally enjoy buying souvenirs. Whenever we passed local vendors, Mike patiently waited and gave me plenty time to browse and negotiate. Our group even asked him twice to take us to markets for more shopping, and he fulfilled every request, making it possible for us to bring memories home.
Our group also loves photography, and Mike never rushed us. He patiently waited and even helped take wonderful group photos. His patience and kindness made our safari so much more enjoyable. Honestly, without him, the experience would not have been the same.
The animals are always there in the national parks. What really matters is the guide you have. I had a wonderful time with Bison and I wholeheartedly recommend them!

Efficient
Absolutely amazing experience! We did a 4 night 5 day safari including Masai Mara and Naivasha. Maggie and Lawrence were so helpful with planning and customizing our package before arrival and extremely quick to respond. Our guide Phillip was amazing! He made sure we saw tons of animals and that we got great photos without other cars. He answered all of our questions and made sure we had the best experience possible. I am already saving for another safari with Bison and will recommend them to anyone I know who wants to go on safari!

we had so much fun with bison safaris! our safari guide ‘Mike’ is very cheerful and knowledgeable with all the animals, he also have a very sharp eye.
everything is all set and well prepared from our airport pick up and drop off, grocery run, accomodation and foodsss. one big factor for us is the free wifi whenever we are on the road.

Right from the initial communication about the itinerary, we felt their professionalism and responsibility. All the commitments made were fulfilled without fail. Their trustworthiness was incredibly reassuring, and their reputation is absolutely impeccable!
Our driver has 25 years of rich safari experience, and his ability to spot animals is nothing short of remarkable! It's like he has a telepathic connection with the animals. Along the way, whether it was a cheetah hiding in the grass or a giraffe grazing leisurely in the distance, he spotted them all with ease. Thanks to him, we saw every animal we hoped to see, perfectly meeting all our expectations for the safari. What's more, the driver has a wonderful personality—he's warm and friendly. Throughout the trip, he shared lots of insights into Kenya's local customs and interesting animal facts, making the journey feel like traveling with an old friend, with a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere all the way.
On the last two nights of our trip in Amboseli, Bison Safaris thoughtfully upgraded us to a better camp for free. The camp had a beautiful environment, complete facilities, and excellent service, allowing us to fully relax and rest after the tiring safari. It was truly a wonderful surprise!

Everything was perfect from start to finish, we spent 7 days with our guide Mike and were able to discover the most beautiful parks in Kenya, we had nothing to do but enjoy the landscapes from our pick-up, same for the hotels everything was prepared for our arrival. Great Organisation, Exceptional Customer Service all culminating in an exceptional experience
We did a 6 night/7 day safari, taking in Maasai Mara, Nukara and Amboseli. After a lot of research into differnt companies, I narrowed it down to 3 and after a call with each one, I decided to use Maggie and her company Bison Safaris for our trip. From the beginning Maggie proved to be so accomaddating and flexible with regard to our trip. she designed a 7 day excursion for us and again after more research she made the changes that I requsted, be it destinations/accomadation etc. Officially our tour started on a Sunday. Our flight arrived into Niarobi 6am on the Saturday and Maggie also arranged accomadation and transfer to a hotel where we had an early checkin facility. She also organised accomadation and transfers for us at the end of the Safari as we were going on to zanzibar for a week, and again when we returned from Zanzibar to depart for home from Nairobi. Nothing was too much trouble and last minute reqeusts/changes handled without hassle. The best Customer Service experience I have had in years! The Safari itself was fantastic, with great guides/drivers who were so friendly, Knowledgeble and did their absolute best to ensure we had the best experience. All the Hospitality/catering staff we met in the different camps/accomadations were also fantastic and also determined to ensure you enjoyed your visit. I really have no negatives to report, It was all fantasic. If I wanted to be really picky we had a few power failures, due to heavy rain, and I heard a few moans from others about this, however for us this just added to the experience and felt part of the real Kenya! So, our sincere thanks to Maggie and all her associates for making this one of the most memorable experience's of our lives!! Wev will be back!
