20-Year Veteran Guide Made It Unforgettable! African Safari: Spotted the Big Five + Cheetah Hunt—Thi
After comparing many highly-rated local tour operators across the internet, we chose Amazing Safari—all because Nevill from the company responded extremely promptly, clearly, and enthusiastically. He crafted a perfect itinerary for us, and we got to stay at every hotel we wanted. It turns out this choice was fantastic! It left us with memories we’ll never forget.
Our driver-guide was Josef, and we highly recommend him! He has over 20 years of experience in this field, and thanks to that, we effortlessly spotted all the animals we wanted to see—including the Big Five. Even when we already felt fully satisfied, Josef still took us to witness more amazing animal scenes and landscapes. For example, we were the first group in the Masai Mara to see cheetahs hunting. Another example: we saw Mount Kilimanjaro clearly under a pink sky… Trust me, Josef is exceptionally good at gathering and sharing information; he finds animals quickly and accurately, always takes the time to get us the best viewing spots and explain things to us, and never says “I don’t know” to any question. He still has great passion for his job and the animals, and it’s obvious he protects the grasslands and wildlife with a strong sense of boundaries. Josef cleans the inside of the car every day to provide us with a comfortable environment.
It’s all thanks to such a great and trustworthy team that every one of us feels deeply attached to the land of Africa, and we felt lucky every moment. My friends and I all agree this trip was perfectly arranged. Amazing memories—highly recommended!

A surpring trip to Kenya
We had a fantastic trip thanks to our reliable tour operator and guide. Nevill gave us some great advice before the trip, and our guide, Musa, was truly exceptional. He had a deep understanding and respect for wildlife and was very knowledgeable about birds. He helped us find the animals we wanted to see and even found many unexpected finds. If you're planning a trip to Kenya, I highly recommend our guide and tour operator.

Recommend Guide but the vehicle condition is not good enough
Overall, the experience was okay, but this was entirely thanks to our excellent guide, Peter. If you book with Amazing Memories, be sure to request Peter in advance. He has been a guide for 18 years and knows everything about Nakuru and Maasai Mara National Park. He managed to show us leopards twice and cheetahs twice! Peter was incredibly patient, kind, always punctual, and reliable. It’s fair to say that he made our safari truly unforgettable.
The pre-trip communication with Nevill was also very good—he carefully adjusted the itinerary based on our needs and provided a reasonable quote accordingly.
However, it’s important to point out some issues. The transport team from Amazing Memories did not properly check the vehicle condition before our departure. Our vehicle broke down right after we set off, and we had to stop for repairs twice on the way to Nakuru. As a result, we missed the evening safari on the first day. Also, due to the vehicle change, we had to switch guides, which caused further delays—meaning we also missed the early-morning safari. Although this was how we ended up with Peter, the vehicle issues still caused a lot of wasted time, and for that reason, I can’t fully recommend the company in this regard.
Additionally, compared to other safari vehicles we saw during the trip, both our initial and replacement vehicles from Amazing Memories were noticeably older and more worn out. If you do choose Amazing Memories, make sure to confirm the condition and age of the vehicle beforehand—and don’t forget to ask for Peter as your guide.
Amazing experience with amazing safaris.
We had an incredible three days in the Maasai Mara with Amazing Safaris. Neville, the organizer, was extremely responsive and made the entire booking process smooth and stress-free. Our guide, John, was professional, knowledgeable, and made every game drive memorable. We saw so many animals and learned a lot along the way. It was truly a great experience for me and my girlfriend — one we’ll never forget. Highly recommend Amazing Safaris for anyone looking for a well-organized and unforgettable experience.

Fantastic experience with Amazing Memories! Dorcas made sure I was booked in awesome rooms and tents ahead of the tour, and then James (Kenya side) and Donald (Tanzania side) were both incredible drivers/guides. I saw so many things and had the best time thanks to this company! Would absolutely recommend

We had Nevill handling our reservation and finalizing the plan. Very responsive and goes the extra mile to accommodate our needs.
I travelled with my wife and 2 kids . They had an amazing unforgittable experience.
It was also my wife's surprise birthday party..
All i had to do was to tell Nevill in advance and was surprised with the hotel arrangements and dinner birthday cakes we got in the different hotels.
We also had Peter as our 4x4 land cruiser diver..
Very experienced and knows a lot of interesting information about the animal and their behaviours..
He was so accommodating and understanding of our needs and when there was a thing he doesn't know he asks Nevill and arrange it accordingly..
They gave us very nice safari hats that my kids wear everyday cause they want to keep that memory forever ..

Amazing time with amazing memories!
We had a wonderful time at Masai Mara. It was well planed by Brian with good accommodation options at reasonable price. James our guide showed us big 5 on the first day of the safari in Masai Mara.
It was just like we expected and everyone in my family were really happy with the experience.

Everything from start to finish was smooth and as planned. Our Tour guide James AKA Jmagimagi was wonderful and amazing. Very experienced and knowledgeable about whole tour. His organisational skills were wonderful. Dorcas was amazing in the back ground taking care of administration.
