The Safari of a Lifetime with Amazing Memories
Choosing a safari in Kenya is about much more than seeing wildlife. While the ultimate goal is to get close to nature and experience the incredible animals, how successful that experience is depends largely on the company you choose and, above all, on your guide. After spending 11 unforgettable days on safari with Amazing Memories, I can confidently say that we made the right choice. I would like to divide this review into three parts: the company, the guide, and the parks.
1. Choosing Amazing Memories
Our choice of Amazing Memories came after extensive research. We contacted four or five companies registered with KATO, carefully comparing itineraries, prices, and reviews. From our very first conversation, Nevill stood out for his professionalism, transparency, and willingness to tailor the trip to our wishes while staying within our budget.
He designed an excellent itinerary, and throughout the entire journey everything went exactly as planned. Every lodge we stayed at was excellent. We did not experience a single issue. Nevil also kept checking in with us during the trip to make sure everything was going well, which showed how much he genuinely cares about his guests.
2. Raphael – Our Guide, Driver, and Companion
Raphael was our guide, driver, and companion throughout the trip, and he was simply outstanding in all three roles.
His ability to find wildlife was remarkable. He always seemed to know where to be and when to be. Also, he had a lot of knowledge about wildlife and was very keen to share with us, which made each encounter more special. While we met other travelers who had quieter safari days, every one of our game drives was filled with memorable sightings and incredible experiences.
Driving in Kenya is a challenge itself. Many transfers from one park to another lasted more than seven hours on roads shared with trucks, potholes, cattle, baboons, and every imaginable obstacle. It requires complete concentration and exceptional driving skills. In that sense, Raphael was such a cautiously driver. But what impressed us even more was Raphael's dedication after each long day. While we were relaxing after seven-eight hours of driving on rough safari tracks, he was inspecting the vehicle, cleaning and preparing it for the following day. Along the way we passed groups stranded in remote areas waiting for mechanics, yet during our 3,000 km journey we never had a single mechanical issue. That was no coincidence—it was the result of Raphael's professionalism and care.
Beyond his skills, Raphael was a wonderful company. Spending 11 days together with me, my wife, and our two boys is probably not the easiest assignment, yet he made every day enjoyable with his kindness, good humour, patience, and positive attitude. By the end of the trip, he felt much more like a friend than just a guide.
3. The Parks
Our itinerary included Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, Maasai Mara, Amboseli, and Tsavo East National Park. Each park has its own unique character, landscapes, wildlife, vegetation, and local culture. Looking back, our only regret is that we did not have even more time to explore them.
The Maasai Mara amazed us with its abundance of big cats and enormous herds of wildlife. In Amboseli, we had the unforgettable feeling of standing in the middle of a herd of elephants as they slowly moved toward the swamps beneath the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro.
Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha offered wonderful opportunities to get incredibly close to giraffes, rhinos, and spectacular birdlife. Finally, Tsavo East gave us a little bit of everything, but what captivated me most was its vastness and remoteness, making it feel truly wild and untouched.
After 11 incredible days, we are returning to Brazil with exactly what the company's name promises: Amazing Memories! We are taking home unforgettable wildlife encounters, thousands of photos, wonderful stories, and a deep appreciation for Kenya, its people, and its extraordinary natural beauty. We wholeheartedly recommend Amazing Memories to anyone looking for an authentic, well-organized, and truly unforgettable safari experience.
Worth the money
We had an amazing experience with Amazing Memories, and I highly recommend them to anyone planning a safari in Kenya.
A special thank you to Anastacia, who helped us plan our itinerary. She was incredibly responsive, always replied quickly to our questions, and gave us honest advice throughout the planning process. She made everything smooth and stress-free from the very beginning.
Our guide for the first part of the trip was Philip, and he was outstanding. He is knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about wildlife. Every day was thoughtfully planned, and he always made sure we got the most out of each game drive. He knows the roads exceptionally well, and you can tell he truly loves the animals. Philip will explain what you’re seeing, share facts about the animals, and make sure you don’t miss any details. His passion and expertise made our safari even more enjoyable.
For the second part of our trip, we had Francis as our guide, and he was fantastic. He has great connections with other guides, always seemed to know where the animals were, and navigated the parks with confidence and skill. Thanks to his experience and network, we had many incredible wildlife sightings.
Amazing Memories delivered a great safari experience, and we would not hesitate to book with them again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a well-organized and memorable safari in Kenya

Amazing like their name
Amazing experience from beginning to the end. The agent Morris and tour guide Joseph went above and beyond to make this 12 days of safari a memorable experience that will be unforgettable. The jeep was in good condition and Joseph is an incredible guide. He made sure that we saw every animal possible. Unfortunately we couldn't see the migration crossing. They were there and we waited for two hours but they didn't cross, luck plays a factor here. My 6 yo son had a great time as well as the adults. The hotels staff were very nice and accommodating. Lovely experience that will be remembered for ever. Thank you amazing memories Safaris.

An amazing Safari trip of a lifetime
Our safari trip with Amazing Memories was absolutely incredible and exceeded all of our expectations. We saw an amazing variety of wildlife and even the spectacular wildebeest river crossing. Every game drive was exciting, and the entire trip was truly unforgettable.
A huge thank you to our guide, Francis. He was knowledgeable, professional, and had an incredible eye for spotting wildlife. He always found the best viewing locations and got us amazing spot to watch animals and take pictures. We learned so much from him about the animals and their behaviors, and he was always friendly, patient, and communicative throughout the trip. We couldn't have asked for a better guide.
Also the arrangement through the whole safari process with Nevill was incredibly smooth. Nevill was responsive, helpful, and customized the itinerary based on what we wanted. We got to stay at the hotels We wanted, and enjoyed enough game drives in the national parks.
It was a unforgettable memories with my families and friends and we highly recommend Amazing Memories (especially Francis) if you are looking for an unforgettable safari trip in Kenya. We will definitely be back in different seasons and enjoy the safari again!

Unforgettable Family Safari Journey
I had a fascinating and unforgettable 8-day safari trip with my families and friends, together with our wonderful guide Francis from Amazing Memories. The entire trip was full of joy and excitement, and everything went so smooth with AM's arrangement. We were able to stay at our preferred hotels during the trip, getting picked up on time everyday, and even being able to store our luggages in AM's office free of charge. Our guide Francis is fabulous. Our safari trip couldn't be so fullfilled and satisfied without him. Francis is super friendly and knowledgeable about animals, drive (and race when spotting animals!) incredibly well, always being able to get us the best spot to see animals and giving us sufficient time to take photos and enjoy the beautiful view. Francis was also super organized, helping us arrange the luggages (there are 7 of us so there're a lot of suitcases and backpacks), cleaning the car everyday, ordering lunchboxes for us for full-day safari, and everything. We were very fortunate to have chosen Amazing Memories for our first safari journey in Kenya, and so lucky to have Francis be our guide. I would definitely come back again and I highly recommend AM to anyone who is looking forward to a once in a life time safari trip. 120 out 100!

Amazing safaris, amazing driver, amazing memories
Massive thank you to Amazing Memories for creating such an incredible week for the four of us this week.
Particular shout-outs to our brilliant safari guide Francis and our head office point-of-contact Morris. The trip as a whole was very fairly priced, especially considering the high quality of hotels we stayed in.
Francis took us all over Kenya, through Amboseli, Naivasha, Nakuru, and Masai Mara.
We saw everything there is to see: lions, elephants, rhinos, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, zebras, hippos, buffalo, impalas, hyenas, vultures, waterbucks… the list goes on!
This was all made possible by our fantastic guide Francis. He worked tirelessly to give us the best trip possible, always finding us the best spots to look at the animals. He was so kind and patient throughout the whole trip, and really made the whole experience very special.

A long journey but Amazing Memories made things easy
I started planning this big family trip nearly a year ago, and from day one, Nevill, our tour consultant, was incredibly supportive, responsive, and professional. My emails were typically answered within hours, and he always provided detailed information and thoughtful recommendations. Among the many safari companies I contacted, Nevill and Amazing Memories stood out immediately, not only because of their excellent communication, but also because of their transparent pricing and detailed cost breakdowns.
A few months before our departure, I needed to adjust part of our itinerary. Nevill was exceptionally kind and helpful in assisting me with rearranging our schedule and securing our lodge reservations, which gave me tremendous peace of mind. Throughout our safari, he also checked in with us multiple times to make sure everything was going smoothly, which we greatly appreciated.
Many thanks also go to our outstanding tour guides, Peter in Kenya and Godlisten in Tanzania. They transported us safely between destinations and, most importantly, worked tirelessly to help us find all the wildlife we had hoped to see in every national park we visited. Communication with both of them was always easy, and we truly appreciated their patience, flexibility, and willingness to accommodate our requests in various situations.
I would highly recommend Amazing Memories to anyone planning a safari in Kenya or Tanzania. Unforgettable Safari with an Exceptional Team — Titus and Moses Made It Perfect
We just returned from an incredible 10-day safari with Amazing Memories Safaris, and the entire experience — from planning to wildlife sightings — exceeded our expectations.
Planning with Titus
From the very first email, Titus was patient and responsive. We asked countless detailed questions over months of planning, and he answered every single one thoroughly and promptly. Our group of four included two senior parents and two birthdays falling during the trip, and Titus arranged everything beautifully — special dinners, cakes, and thoughtful touches on both birthday dates. All hotels were exactly as confirmed in our contract, with no last-minute changes. When our luggage didn't make our connection in Cairo, Titus personally followed up and made sure our bags reached us in Nairobi safely. His support throughout was reassuring and genuinely caring.
Our guide Moses
Moses was truly the heart of this trip. With over 20 years of safari experience, his expertise was immediately evident, but what really set him apart was his attitude. He was warm, patient, and especially kind to my elderly parents — he and my father bonded instantly despite the language barrier. My dad took so many photos of Moses that he made one his profile picture! Moses brought incredible positive energy every single day.
What I'll remember most is Moses's deep respect for wildlife. He never chased animals or jostled aggressively for "the perfect shot." Instead, he found positions that gave us amazing photos without disturbing the animals' movement, and he was always considerate not to block other vehicles. He shared sighting information generously with other guides throughout the trip — a true professional who clearly still loves what he does after two decades.
Thanks to Moses, we saw the Big Five AND the Ugly Five — our WhatsApp group is called "Too Much Lions" for good reason! He patiently taught us so much about animal behavior and ecology along the way.
We covered Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, and Amboseli — each location offered completely different landscapes and wildlife. We loved the contrast between luxury tented camps and lodges. Masai Mara and Amboseli were our favorites — we saw Mount Kilimanjaro on clear mornings and captured unforgettable shots of elephants framed against the mountain.
This trip was a powerful reminder that "life is a wilderness" — and Africa is a place where animals and humans can still coexist. We hope the story of the Mara's five-brother lion coalition continues for generations. Thank you to Amazing Memories, Titus, and Moses for making this trip everything we hoped for and more. We will absolutely be back to this magical land.

Incredible Safari Experience
We had an amazing safari trip, and everything turned out beautifully. The itinerary was rich, the animal viewings were spectacular.
Our guide John is professional at spotting wildlife, and thanks to his sharp eyes, we didn't miss any of the highlights. John is genuinely nice and considerate of our needs—he was responsive to every request we had. Despite the long driving hours each day, he remained energetic, cheerful, and always had a warm smile on his face.
Titus was efficient and patient during the planning process. He tailored the itinerary and locked in all our preferred lodges.
