We recently completed a 7-day private safari in Tanzania with Aardvark Expeditions, and it was an incredible journey from start to finish.
From the moment we landed at Kilimanjaro International Airport, we were met with warm hospitality and seamless coordination. Our itinerary took us through Lake Manyara, Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire — each destination offering its own unique charm and unforgettable wildlife encounters.
Our safari guide was outstanding — deeply knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about nature and conservation. Whether it was spotting elusive big cats or sharing insights into animal behavior, he elevated our experience to another level. The safari vehicle was comfortable and well-maintained, ensuring a smooth ride throughout.
Aardvark’s choice of accommodations was excellent. We especially loved the atmosphere at Eileen’s Trees Inn, and the immersive experience of staying at Hippo Trails and Embalakai Luxury Tented Camps in the heart of the Serengeti. The service, food, and views at each lodge were top-notch.
Every detail was taken care of — from timely pickups to well-organized game drives and thoughtful touches throughout the trip. Aardvark Expeditions provided us with a safe, enriching, and truly memorable adventure through Tanzania’s most iconic parks. Highly recommended!

We recently completed a 7-day safari in Tanzania with Aardvark Expeditions, and it was truly the trip of a lifetime! From start to finish, the experience was seamless, safe, and incredibly rewarding.
A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Philemon, the visionary behind Aardvark Expeditions, for personally briefing us and ensuring every detail was taken care of. His professionalism, responsiveness, and passion for showcasing Tanzania’s natural beauty were evident in every aspect of the tour.
Special appreciation goes to our guide and driver, Mr. Joshua. With years of experience and an exceptional understanding of wildlife behavior and the terrain, Joshua made every game drive both exciting and educational. His patience, sharp eye for spotting animals (even from a distance!), and deep respect for nature made all the difference. Thanks to him, we were able to witness the Big Five, the great migration, and so many other breathtaking moments up close — all while feeling completely safe and cared for.
One of the most unexpected and delightful parts of this safari was how they sparked in me a new passion for bird watching. With Joshua’s enthusiastic knowledge of avian species, I found myself completely drawn into this beautiful and often-overlooked aspect of the Tanzanian wilderness. It has become a hobby I will carry with me far beyond this trip.
The accommodations were well chosen, the vehicle was clean and comfortable, and the itinerary was thoughtfully crafted to give us a rich and varied experience across Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, and Lake Manyara.

from start to finish very well organised safari by Philemon
This was a once in a lifetime experience and has been on our wish list for a long time. From the first contact with Philemon everything has been smooth. Communication is prompt via whatsapp and email. Philemon arranged a great 6 days safari for us, starting around Arusha NP, then Lake Manyara , Serengeti and the crater. When we arrived at Kilimanjaro airport Philemon was personally there to pick us up together with our guide Amani. Amani turned out to be a great guide, knowledgeable, crazy navigation and driving skills and showed us Tanzania’s wildlife and nature. After the safari Philemon dropped us at airport, making sure everything was arranged. From start to finish this has been a great adventure, very well organised.

Our tour operator with very knowledgable about the animals in the safari and kept us entertained!
This was quite a wonderful experience! It was well worth the cost, and we saw so many animals in Tarangire National Park (leopards, lions, zebras, elephants, monkeys, giraffes, etc.). We were picked up on-time, and we had a whole tour for just the two of us, which made the experience feel personal and intimate. It was quite easy to communicate with Philemon about the itinerary, cost, and expectations. We received round-trip transportation and lunch. I would highly recommend anyone interested to go with Aardvark Expeditions when choosing a tour company! I would also recommend for people to think deeply about when they are choosing to travel and visit a safari as well as which safari to visit because different animals will be present at different safari locations at different times of the year, just to keep in mind!

Fantastic
It was amazing trip. We were nicely suprised about our tour guide. He was really friendly and helpfull. Whole trip was really fun. We saw so many plants and wild animals. This was our first time in Africa and he told us about culture. We will go to Tanzania one more time for sure.

I went to the Ngorongoro Crater. It was absolutely amazing. There were plenty of animals in the Crater. We were able to get some amazing pictures.
Philmont delivered everything he said he would and more. I am planning on returning to see the Serengeti. Can't wait to return
