An unforgettable 5-day Kenya safari – highly recommended!
Our five-day Kenya safari was nothing short of memorable and went above and beyond our expectations. We were lucky enough to see the Big Five, along with so much other incredible wildlife and scenery throughout the trip.
A special mention must go to Mimi Kelvin, our fantastic driver and tour guide. He was brave, knowledgeable, helpful and always brought such good vibes to every day of the safari. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him, and he always made sure we were comfortable, safe and in the best possible position to see the animals. He played a huge part in making this trip so special.
The only disappointing part of the experience was our stay at Lake Naivasha Resort. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations, and based on our experience, we would not recommend paying extra to upgrade to Option 4, as we did not feel it was worth the additional cost.
Aside from this, the safari itself was absolutely incredible. Seeing the Big Five in their natural habitat was a dream come true, and the entire experience exceeded everything we had imagined. We will remember this trip for the rest of our lives. Thank you again to Mimi Kelvin for making it such an unforgettable adventure!

4 days in Masai Mara
We had a 4-day safari to the Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru with ourdriver and guide, Mimi Kevin.
One of the highlights of our trip was witnessing the incredible lines of wildebeest gathering for the Great Migration and watching them repeatedly attempt to cross the Mara River. It was an emotional and unforgettable spectacle.
Another unforgettable moment was finding a pride of lion brothers that had just brought down a buffalo and were feeding on it. Watching such a powerful scene in the wild was something we will never forget.
Thanks to Mimi, we saw an amazing variety of wildlife, including both the black rhinoceros and the white rhinoceros, as well as elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, hippos, crocodiles, hyenas, buffaloes, and countless other animals. The only member of the Big Five that escaped us was the leopard—but that's the beauty of nature, as this magnificent animal is incredibly elusive.
Throughout the trip, Mimi always positioned the vehicle perfectly for photography, drove safely even on the roughest roads, and shared information about the animals. His passion for wildlife and his commitment to giving us the best possible safari experience were evident every single day. He uses to be the first in any place so be ready to wake up early.

Wonderful and friendly
Our driver guide Brian Ondigo was a friendly face from the get go. He made our group very comfortable and was able to judge our needs even before we asked. He made sure we were always comfortable in the car. He also explained about the wildlife and the park to us. He was also very accommodating to all our requests. We will definitely recommend him as a great driver guide for all tourists. Good luck Brian

Exciting once in a life kinda
Our trip to Masai Mara with Axis Safari was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we were picked up until the end of the tour, everything was well organized and professionally managed.
The safari guide Ken ngamia was knowledgeable, friendly, and had an incredible eye for spotting wildlife. We were fortunate to see the Big Five and many other amazing animals in their natural habitat. The game drives were exciting, and ken shared fascinating information about the wildlife and the Maasai ecosystem. I would recommend axis safari and please ask for Ken if he is available.

Always focus on giving the best experience - caring, have attention to details
We chose Axis Africa Safari to carefully plan a journey that combines both bush and beach. From the incredible wildlife of the Masai Mara to the beautiful landscapes of Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha, every day brought something unforgettable. We then slowed the pace with some relaxing time on the white sandy beaches of Diani, overlooking the Indian Ocean, before exploring the rich history and culture of Mombasa's Old Town.
Heartfelt thanks to Lucy at Axis Africa Safaris for helping us every step of the way. She took care of every minute details including driver pick-up, timing. Special thanks also to Marcus, our safari guide, who was simply awesome! His knowledge, enthusiasm, and passion for the wildlife made every game drive a memorable experience. Very easy communication and great arrangements
Axis has been the easiest to communicate since the beginning - they adjust quickly to adapt our requests. The safari trip was great too. Our guide was very experienced in finding rare animals and getting us a good spot to see and take photos; also knowledgeable about the animals. Our whole family enjoys our time with him.
Magical and unforgettable
Went for a honeymoon safari with my husband so we picked the midrange-luxury option and it was fantastic.
Everything was well organised, our accommodations were really good, especially Lake Nakuru Lodge.
Our guide was Jack and he was extremely nice and really tried hard to find the animals, he also knew a lot about them, knew the parks really well so we went to good spots!
One day I was a bit sick, so we couldn’t join our group in the morning and Tabitha was very helpful. We got in contact with her and she organised a private tour a bit later when I was feeling better. We went with a Maasai named Patrick and he was also great. He knew all the lion spots.
Great and really unforgettable experience!
