Unforgettable!
Our Maasai Mara and Nakuru safari experience with Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris was nothing short of spectacular! From start to the final farewell everything was well planned and carried out
Our guide, Raymond, was the heart of the tour! His knowledge of animals, tracking skills, ability to spot wildlife turned every game drive into an exhilarating experience. Thanks to him, we witnessed the Big Five and countless other incredible moments, from watching the sunset with a family of lions to catching a glimpse of the elusive cheetah and a leopard in a tree with its kill! He carried us, From everything we asked and hoped to see to so much more! (Bonus: Never met a better driver than Raymond!)
Would definitely recommend opting in to the andditional experiences such as the hot air balloon ride and crescent island. They added so much more to the experience
The stay at Jambo Mara Lodge was also spectacular. That early morning coffee at sunrise with the view really hit the spot!
Consider carrying a more compact luggage just so it would be easier to load into vehicle from travelling
For anyone thinking about it, would definitely recommend to go with Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris. 10/10 Experience

It was amazing time on the safari, all was well organized and comfortable to enjoy the animal view and stuff.
Jacklyne the agent did all easy and attentive with us.
Kikitu the guide and driver was amazing and funny.

Spectacular experience
From the start, it was an incredible experience when Tabitath made the necessary changes due to our delayed flights. And then at their offices, they took great care of us. The best of the best, Khalifa, wow, excellent service, experience, knowledge, and best of all, very attentive to ensuring we had the best views of the animals and the best photos. He always waited for us if we needed to go to the bathroom as many times as necessary. He had a mishap with his car, but he was always very attentive to us and looked for solutions. Cars are machines and sometimes they break down...

A dream travel
I loved it from the moment we began our journey with Tabitath and Khalifa.
Everything else exceeded my expectations. Khalifa's attention to detail shows that he loves his job, and he made us feel it when he gave us unforgettable experiences that surpassed everything I could have imagined.
Please keep these employees in your companies; they are truly worth their weight in gold.
The car had a mishap, but he was always attentive to resolving everything... truly the best.

Amazing safari and amazing guide

Five day budget safari, which was great value for money, apart from day five.
We were picked up from our hotel on the first morning before heading to the Axis Safari office for final payment. We were on the road with our group by 8:30am heading for Masai Mara. We arrived at our camp at lunch time, had lunch, before an evening game drive which was brilliant. Day two was a full days game drive in Masai Mara, before staying at the camp again. We saw four of the "big five" in the Masai Mara (All except Rhinos). The camp was basic, but more than adequate for a budget Safari. We saw white and black Rhinos in Lake Nakuru National Park.
Our guide, Peter Kapino, was brilliant, with extensive knowledge of wildlife on the safari, as well as cultural knowledge when passing through the industrial and farming towns/villages. He was very approachable and answered all of our questions.
In terms of the additional activities, the Masai Village visit was worth the $20 to experience their culture and traditions, the boat ride in Lake Naivasha was not worth $20 extra (we didn't go to the island, so cannot comment on that), and the bike riding in Hells Gate National Park was good fun, we really got on with our group, so it was nice making new friends as the safari went on. Only real criticism would be that we felt our last day was cut short, two people in our party of eight were on a seven day safari, so were heading for Amboseli National Park, after dropping us back in Nairobi. This meant that day five effectively finished at 11am, with lunch at 11:15 (we weren't really hungry), and back to Nairobi just before 2pm. I suppose the operator was unable to make up a full car with a five day group, but was a bit of a shame.
