Super fantastic
The trip with Peter kapino was the best. We watched the Big Five in one day and even saw the lion hunting scene. It was fantastic. It was an unforgettable day. I highly recommend this tour!!!!!!

Amazing experience, everything was as promised
I just returned from an incredible 5-day Masai Mara safari and wanted to share my experience. From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations.
The booking process was straightforward and hassle-free. All communication was clear, and every detail was handled professionally. What impressed me most was how everything delivered was exactly as promised - no surprises or disappointments.
Our guide Ken was absolutely exceptional. His knowledge of wildlife behavior and the ecosystem was remarkable, and his enthusiasm was infectious. Ken had an incredible eye for spotting animals and knew exactly where to position us for the best viewing and photography opportunities. His professionalism and genuine passion for wildlife made each game drive educational and exciting.
We had extraordinary luck with wildlife sightings. Not only did we see all of the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino), but we also encountered the Ugly Five (warthog, vulture, wildebeest, marabou stork, and hyena), which was unexpectedly entertaining and educational.
The add-on experiences were fantastic. The boat safari offered a completely different perspective on wildlife, especially the hippos and eagles. Biking through Hell's Gate National Park was an adventure highlight - being able to get so close to zebras and giraffes on foot was unforgettable.
Every aspect of the trip was well-organized, from accommodations to meals to transportation. The attention to detail and commitment to delivering an authentic safari experience was evident throughout. We also enjoyed the hotels Jumbo Mara Safari Lodge, Sarova Woodlands Nakuru and Lake Naivasha Resort.
I would absolutely recommend this safari to anyone considering a Kenya adventure. The combination of professional service, exceptional guiding, and incredible wildlife encounters made this a truly memorable trip

A huge thank you to our guide and driver Khalifa – he truly made the trip special. He’s not only super professional and experienced, but also warm, friendly, and patient. He seemed to know exactly where to go and when, and because of him we were lucky enough to see all the animals we were hoping for (and so much more!). His knowledge of wildlife and the parks was impressive, and he always made sure we felt safe, comfortable, and excited about the adventure.
Traveling with friends, we couldn’t have asked for a better guide – he made every game drive fun and memorable. The whole experience was totally worth the money and exceeded our expectations in every way.

I found this tour provider after doing a thorough research and after concluding a 7 day private safari visiting Amboseli, Lake Navaisha, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara I can’t be more happy and fulfilled. I have to give a special mention to Philip who helped me and my friends do all the booking, and arraigning the hotels we wanted to stay. He helped us in every step of the way.
As per our driver Khalifa, he is the best of the best, amazing person, attentive, caring, knowledgeable. There are not enough words to describe him. When we decided to go on safari in Kenya, we chose Axis Africa Safaris, and from the very first moment, everything was seamless. Philip guided us through the booking process with patience and care, answering all our questions and sharing a clear, well-organized itinerary that made planning stress-free.
Once our trip began, Philip told us we’d be traveling with one of their top guides, and he was absolutely right, Khalifa was exceptional. He wasn’t just knowledgeable about the wildlife, he was also incredibly attentive, kind, and genuinely excited to share the experience with us. His sharp eye and deep understanding of animal behavior meant we didn’t just “see” the animals, we truly experienced the parks. He knew the best spots, the right timing, and always managed to position us perfectly for photos without ever making the experience feel rushed.
What stood out most about Khalifa was his passion, he clearly loves what he does, and that energy made every game drive feel magical. He was patient, enthusiastic when something exciting happened, and thoughtful in making sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment, he also made many recommendations on how to make our trip better, and he even taught us some Swahili. The company also gave us a wonderful selection of hotels for us, each one comfortable and welcoming. We loved the flow of the trip too, starting in Amboseli, moving on to Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha, and finishing with the unforgettable Masai Mara.

When we were choosing our safari, we looked at the reviews for Axis Africa Safaris — and the company still managed to exceed the already impressive expectations we had. From the very beginning, Philip was incredibly helpful in planning and customizing our trip. Axis Africa put together the perfect tailor-made 7-day itinerary, taking us from the elephants of Amboseli, to the calm of Lake Naivasha, the rhinos and flamingos of Lake Nakuru, and finally the unforgettable plains of the Maasai Mara.
Our guide, Khalifa, made the journey truly exceptional. He was endlessly knowledgeable, attentive, and a fantastic driver. I’ve never seen anyone handle a Toyota Land Cruiser with such skill and confidence — he took us places we never imagined we could go, always safely and smoothly. Needless to say that we saw every animal we wanted to see, and so much more (shoutout to the baby pumbaa, the lion cubs, and the 3 leopards that only *we* got to see!)
The vehicle itself was very comfortable, and we’d definitely recommend choosing the Land Cruiser over vans for the best experience.
