Unforgettable experience
I booked a 7-day Kenya safari with Axis Safari, covering Masai Mara, Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, and Lake Naivasha, and it was truly an unforgettable experience.
From the very beginning, Tabitha was absolutely amazing. I had a lot of questions, and she patiently answered every single one of them. She helped me with the visa voucher, explained everything in detail, and was always prompt, kind, and accommodating. I genuinely enjoyed communicating with her — everything felt easy, smooth, and stress-free.
Our journey started early in the morning. We were picked up around 6:30 a.m., which was good since we had an early 4am arrival flight. Axis Safari also allowed us to leave our luggage safely at their office so we could travel lightly — a small but very thoughtful detail.
From Nairobi, we headed straight to Masai Mara, which became one of my favorite parks of the entire trip. It was breathtaking and completely mesmerizing. I chose mid-range luxury accommodations, and I was very happy with the hotels throughout the trip — comfortable, great service, and good food. My favorite stay was Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort, which was absolutely amazing.
For the entire seven days, we were guided by Khalifa — and honestly, I can’t imagine this trip being so incredible without him. He was extremely knowledgeable (animals, birds — you name it), kind, flexible, and always trying to accommodate everyone. His understanding of the parks and animal behavior was truly impressive. I strongly believe that we were able to see so many animals because of his experience and deep knowledge of the parks.
In Amboseli, we witnessed five cheetahs on a hunt, and we had prime viewing spots (thanks, Khalifa!) a moment I will never forget. Seeing elephants, lions, zebras, and countless other animals just a few meters away was surreal. Amboseli, in particular, felt like an endless animal crossing, especially with the elephants — I was completely in awe.
There was one small issue where a last-minute itinerary change added extra driving hours between parks, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience.
We were part of a shared group safari, and it worked out wonderfully. The value for the price is excellent, and I’ve already recommended Axis Safari to friends.
I traveled with my dad, and he absolutely loved it. He kept saying how unbelievable it was to be just meters away from zebras, cheetahs, lions, and so many other animals — memories we will cherish forever.
Overall, I couldn’t be happier. Amazing organization, outstanding guide, great value, and unforgettable memories.
I highly recommend Axis Safari to anyone planning a safari in Kenya.

John consistently found the best animals with the best views & experiences, thanks for a super time
We had a super time, everything was well organised and smooth getting to Mara Sopa which was a brilliant accommodation. We got up close with some of the big 5 animals, including lions on many occasions.
John was a fantastic driver who was able to find the animals and get us right beside them, without disturbing so that we were able to spend plenty of time alongside them.
Would highly recommend John in particular, thank you again for making our experience even better than we expected

Back to nature
3 day Masi Mara trip.
We were very well looked after throughout the 3 days. We chose the tented camp Wild Nest. Very basic but what we wanted. Every thing was clean and tidy. Facilities are basic as you’d expect in a tent with bathroom facilities. Good comfortable bed the staff could not do enough for us. Ashanti sana.
Although the rods in the park are bumpy we were amazed by the animals and birds. We got to see 4 of the big 5. Missed out on the rino.
Kelvin our driver/ guide kept us safe and his animal knowledge was fascinating.

Brilliant Safari Experience
We had an amazing 3 day safari experience. John was a fantastic tour guide who got us so close to many of the big 5 and shared his knowledge about each of them. It was incredible to see the animals so close in their natural habitat. Would highly recommend.

Each day was a new type of adventure. Fun filled game drives, with peaceful moments watching the animals and exhilarating times driving to find an animal. Our guide Roger is a seasoned pro and wonderful guide. Took us to the best places, we have amazing photos!! Worth every moment and can’t wait to return.

Such a wonder !
I took the 6 days tour and it was a blast. I feel very blessed I got a chance to see every animal I could have think of and never dare to dream about, several times, from very closed, and with their lovely cuty babies !
Also the sceneries were breathtaking. Sunrise, sunset, heavyrains or glorious day.
Last but not least, the accommodation were impecable, the food very good and every persons I interacted with within the company was charming.
