Great. Tons of experience
We went to a 3 day safari in Masai Mara. This park is amazing and I have been to several before. Kelvin our guide was great. H is very knowledgeable and knows the park so well that he can get you to see the rare animals before dozen other cars arrive. 100% recommended

The safari tour with Axis Safari was perfectly organized. From our very first contact to the actual tour, everything went smoothly and there was absolutely nothing to complain about.
The team on site was very friendly and helpful. We also had the best driver, who did everything he could to show us as many animals as possible and make the experience truly memorable.
I would definitely recommend Axis Safari and would happily book another tour with them in the future.

An Unforgettable 5-Day Safari with Axis Africa Safaris!
​We had an incredible safari experience with Axis Africa Safaris from start to finish.
​During the planning and booking stages, Ms. Maurine was outstanding. She was extremely professional, guiding us seamlessly through our schedule, itinerary options, lodge choices, and payment process. Upon our arrival in Kenya, she gave us a warm welcome and a thorough briefing before setting off on our 5-day tour.
​Out on safari, our tour guide and driver, Mr. Khalifa Abdullah, was simply superb—quite frankly one of the best safari guides in Kenya! He knows the Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru National Park like the back of his hand. Beyond his extraordinary eye for spotting wildlife, we were deeply impressed by his encyclopedic knowledge of animal species, their unique behaviors, and their natural habitats. He also enriched our journey with fascinating insights into the geology of the Rift Valley, the natural history of the parks, and the broader history of Kenya and East Africa.
​Thanks to his expertise, we enjoyed multiple sightings of leopards, cheetahs, elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, vultures, hyenas, ostriches, hippos, and rhinos—along with witnessing a live kill as a pride of lions took down a wildebeest. With his deep understanding of the Mara and expert sense of timing, he placed us in the perfect spot to watch a live river crossing of wildebeests and zebras making their journey from Tanzania into Kenya.
​It was a trip of a lifetime, and we cannot recommend Axis Africa Safaris enough!

An excellent safari operator for all budgets
After doing some research online I decided to book a budget 4 day 3 night Safari with Axis Africa Safaris. I had limited time in Kenya and wanted to see as much wildlife as possible. Highlights included two game drives in Masai Mara and visits to Lake Navaisha and Lake Nakuru National Park. The company was responsive with any questions I had prior to my arrival in Kenya. John Mwangi was our guide throughout the trip. John was a wonderful guide on our game drives. His driving skills and knowledge of the parks ensured we saw as much wildlife as possible during our time there. John continually kept the group informed of the day’s activities and he made sure everyone had a great time. I would not hesitate to recommend Axis and John as a guide to anyone looking for a safari while in Kenya.
