If you are booking a safari with Axis Africa Safaris, you absolutely have to request Charles Pilipili as your guide and driver! From start to finish, Mr. Pilipili was kind, knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly fun to be around. He taught us so much throughout the entire trip, from the animals we encountered and their behaviors to the land, wildlife, and rich Maasai culture and traditions. His incredible knowledge of the area and wildlife gave us the opportunity to see so many amazing animals and understand not just what we were seeing, but why they behaved the way they did. Mr. Pilipili went above and beyond to make sure we had an unforgettable experience, always making sure we were comfortable, well taken care of, and safe throughout the entire trip. His attentiveness and responsibility gave us complete peace of mind, while his adventurous personality and Maasai pride made every day even more memorable. We truly felt that we were learning something new every day and gained a much deeper appreciation for Kenya, its wildlife, and its people. We left with incredible memories that will last a lifetime. Best Safari experience
We had a 6 days Safari with Axis to Masai Mara, Nakuru and Amboseli. We took a shared safari and wouldn’t change it for the private one. It was wonderful to have new friends to talk to and to share the safari experience with. Peter Mungai our Axis sales operator answered all of our questions quikly and we were secured about all the pick up details. Our driver Mohamed was wonderful - he was great driver and also great safari guide. You can tell that He is really enjoying what He is doing. Mohamed made sure that we complete the big five and see everything that we wanted to. He told us a lot about the animals, but also about living in Kenya and all the different stuff we asked about. We were travelling in a new Toyota land cruiser Safari car which was also great. We were staying in Wildest Camp near Masai Mara, Hill Court Hotel near Nakuru and Mountain View Camp near Amboseli. All the places were better than expected for the budget safari. Only in the first camp the hot water was limited, but its understandable. The food through the Safari also was good and there was plenty of it. Best Safari experience that You will get. We recommed You to take Safari with Axis and of course with our guide Mohamed.

Very enjoyable experience
We did a 4 day safari with Roger as our guide. He was very informative and helpful. We managed to see most of the animals the safari had to offer including the big 5 and that was of no doubt due to Rogers experience and connections in the park.

A Truly Memorable Safari Experience from Start to Finish
This was my first safari, and I could not have asked for a better experience.
Before the trip, Tabitha was incredibly responsive and provided comprehensive information whenever I had questions. Her clear and helpful communication gave me great peace of mind, especially as a first-time safari traveler.
Our guide, Jack, was absolutely fantastic. His knowledge of the animals was extensive, and thanks to his expertise and dedication, we were able to see all of the Big Five. He always positioned the vehicle carefully so that we could get the best possible views and take great photos. One of my favorite moments was simply watching the sunset together over the plains, with a herd of wildebeest in front of us. Moments like that made the experience truly special.
Jack also drove very safely and always made us feel comfortable during the journey, so we could relax and fully enjoy the safari.
Overall, I have no complaints at all. Everything went smoothly, and thanks to Tabitha and Jack, this became one of the highlights of my life. I would highly recommend this operator to anyone, especially first-time safari travelers.
Khalifa was the best
We had an amazing 5-day safari in Kenya! Everything was perfectly organized, from the beautiful lodges to the incredible game drives. We saw so many animals and enjoyed unforgettable views and experiences. The guides were professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an unforgettable Kenyan safari experience! 🇰🇪🦁🐘

Excellent!!
We had an absolutely amazing safari experience! Everything was perfectly organized, from start to finish. A special thank you to our fantastic guide, Khalifa, who was extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He went above and beyond to make sure we had unforgettable wildlife encounters and wonderful memories.
A big thank you also to Tabitha, our tour operator, for her excellent organization, communication and attention to detail.

Amazing 6-Day Safari Experience
We had an amazing 6-day safari experience, and I would highly recommend this tour operator to anyone planning a safari.
A special thank you to Tabitha, who was very helpful and accommodating throughout the trip, and to our guide and driver, Khalifa, who made the safari even more enjoyable. Khalifa was an excellent driver and guide, with great knowledge of the animals, the terrain, and the best places to explore. We always felt safe and well taken care of.
The game drives were fantastic, and the atmosphere was made even more enjoyable with local music playing during our trips. Khalifa was also very flexible when we wanted to change our schedule or do things differently. He went out of his way to help us arrange taxis, communicate with local camps, and make sure everything worked smoothly.
Overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable safari, thanks in large part to the excellent service and flexibility of Tabitha and Khalifa. 5/5 — highly recommended!

Peter Kapino from African Safari was our guide and driver for our entire one-week Masai Mara trip, and we couldn’t have asked for a better person to accompany us on this incredible journey.
Peter is exceptionally knowledgeable. His knowledge of the wildlife is truly impressive—he knows the names, habits, and behaviors of so many birds and animals. He also has wonderful knowledge about trees, plants, nature, and the ecosystem. Every safari drive became an opportunity to learn something new.
What made our experience even more special was that Peter didn’t just show us the Masai Mara; he helped us truly understand and experience it. He shared fascinating information about the nearby national parks and forests, village life, local culture, and the beautiful surroundings. Because of him, we were able to appreciate Masai Mara in a much deeper way.
Beyond his knowledge, Peter is a very calm, kind, patient, and helpful person. He was always attentive to our needs and made sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment. We genuinely enjoyed his company throughout the entire week.

An unforgettable safari experience in Maasai Mara!
I had an amazing experience with Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris from beginning to end. Everything was very well organized, starting with my first contacts with Jacklyne, who was always helpful, friendly, and professional. The hotel pick-up and the entire journey to Maasai Mara went smoothly, and it was clear that the company pays attention to every detail.
The accommodation provided was excellent — comfortable, well located, and a perfect place to relax after a full day of safari. The meals were also very good and contributed to an overall great experience.
However, I would like to give a very special mention to our guide and driver, Simba. He truly made the safari unforgettable. Besides being an excellent and very skilled driver, Simba was extremely friendly, patient, and always willing to answer our questions and share his knowledge.
His knowledge of Maasai Mara and its wildlife was impressive. He has an incredible eye for spotting animals from very long distances, often noticing wildlife that we would never have seen on our own. His experience, enthusiasm, and understanding of animal behavior made every game drive exciting and educational.
Having someone like Simba is incredibly valuable for a safari company. The landscapes and wildlife of Maasai Mara are already extraordinary, but the right guide can completely transform the experience. A knowledgeable, patient, and passionate professional like Simba turns a great safari into a truly memorable one.
