Amazing 🤩
Charles Kyalo is an exceptional guide: organized, thoughtful, punctual, and a great communicator. He listens closely to his clients and anticipates a great deal to make the experience enjoyable.
The game drives with him were very productive — we saw a wide variety of animals. One moment stood out in particular: after more than 12 hours of game drive in the Masai Mara reserve, while we were already heading back, he propose to drive several kilometers back so we could see a leopard! That kind of dedication makes all the difference.
I highly recommend Charles Kyalo for an unforgettable safari!

Safari Experience with Laso
We had an absolutely wonderful safari experience, and a huge part of what made the trip so memorable was our guide, Laso. He was incredibly skilled, experienced, attentive, and genuinely determined to make sure we had the best possible experience.
Laso had an amazing ability to position the vehicle so that we could get the best views and photos of the animals. Whenever he heard over the radio that something had been spotted, he reacted immediately and did everything possible to get us there in time. He expertly navigated rough terrain, crossed rivers, drove through bushes, and maneuvered the vehicle into the perfect position for us to see the wildlife. Thanks to his persistence, experience, and determination, we saw an incredible number of animals, including all of the Big Five.
At the same time, I always felt completely safe with him. He is an excellent and very alert driver who clearly has extensive experience. He was also passionate about sharing his knowledge, explaining the animals, their behavior, and everything we were seeing along the way. He was wonderful with our children and made the experience interesting and enjoyable for the whole family.
Beyond the game drives, Laso was extremely accommodating and flexible. He happily adjusted stops for particular breakfast and lunch places we wanted to visit, made sure we always had enough water, and took great care of us throughout the trip. He was always punctual - usually already waiting for us before we were ready - and consistently explained what we would be doing, where we were going, and what to expect next. Everything was organized and clear, the itinerary was followed smoothly, yet he was always willing to be flexible when we wanted something different.
We feel extremely lucky that Laso was our guide. His professionalism, enthusiasm, patience, driving skills, knowledge, and determination to find wildlife truly made our safari exceptional. Not every guide will go to the same lengths to create this kind of experience, and Laso really stands out.
I would highly recommend specifically asking for Laso when booking with Axis Safari.

Adventure in Mara
We booked a 3 nights and 4 days package Axis Safaris after watching many excellent reviews on YouTube. From the initial enquiries: Number of people, Safari requirements, Different Lodge options and answering any other questions, Rita from Axis Safaris was absolutely brilliant with very good customer service.
A day before the Safari, we received a message from Axis confirming pick up by the driver and the driver also reached out directly. We arrived at thier offices to drop off our excess luggage to be kept securely and were introduced to our Safari Tour Guide Charles Kyalo who from the start to the end was professional, courteous, patient and explained everything very clearly to everyone.
We saw the Big 5 Inc Leopard and also many Lions with cubs, Elephants, Giraffes at Mara and White Rhinos, Lions, lots of Flamingos at Lake Nakuru. We as a family of 2 adults and 2 children loved every single moment and will cherish this Safari experience. I will highly recommend Axis Safaris and Charles Kyalo as a guide. Excellent
Good work, Peter Kapino! 👏 We booked our safari with Axis Africa, and Peter was our safari guide. We are from India, and Peter was an excellent guide—very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He explained everything about the animals, wildlife, and the places we visited. His boss was also a very nice person.
However, I would not recommend Axis Africa because of Winnie, who handled our itinerary. She made several mistakes in the itinerary, which ultimately cost us around ₹1.60 lakh extra, and this should not have happened. After taking the advance payment, she gave us an incorrect itinerary and later asked for additional money or suggested cancelling one of our Maasai Mara drives.
So, Peter was excellent, but my experience with the itinerary management was disappointing. If you book with Axis Africa, I would strongly recommend double-checking the itinerary and all costs before making the payment.

Sadaam was friendly, knowledgeable, punctual and created a great environment for my daughter and I!
Axis met all my expectations! I was scared to do this alone with a child, but Tabitha was phenomenal in helping us plan and Sadaam made us feel welcomed, safe and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. Highly recommend.

Fulfilling the dream of an African safari
Our 7-days safari in Kenya is coming to an end. Thanks to Axis Africa Safaris, it’s an experience we’ll cherish for a long time. It was wonderful and exceeded all our expectations!
I’d like to give a huge thank you to Lucy for her professional advice and quick responses whenever needed (and patience with such a demanding client as myself. She worked miracles to secure the accommodations we had chosen, and everything was organized to the highest standard. We visited Tsavo, Amboseli, Nakuru, Naivasha, and the Masai Mara. Each of these parks is unique and well worth a visit.
A massive thank you goes to Ben as well. I’m not sure if he’s a better driver or a better guide. We felt completely safe with him, both on the road and during the safari (he knew exactly what to do when one of us suffered a dangerous wasp sting). On top of that, he has the eyes of a hawk and a deep understanding of animal behavior. He knew exactly when to wait during the safari and when it was best not to waste time. Spotting the "Big Five" with him seemed so easy...
He also possesses a wealth of knowledge that he was happy to share.
Highly recommended.
And finally, if anyone is wondering whether a hot-air balloon ride over the Masai Mara is worth it—yes, it is an absolute must. Even my fear of heights didn't stop me from doing it.

Very reliable and always available
The experience has been very satisfactory. The organisation succeeded in any step of the trip. The Soroi Private Wing camp was a combination of genuinity and warm atmosphere, a wonderful location very well led. The guide Collin Sempele has been very professional. He is very prepared for explanations, a very good driver, very generous in time. He understands customers needs. We were feeling very safe with him.

1day trip Unforgettable Day Safari Thanks to Excellent Guide Charles K
My safari tour was absolutely fantastic, largely thanks to our guide Charles K. He delivered exceptional service throughout the whole day. Charles was extremely knowledgeable about local wildlife, patiently pointing out every animal for us and sharing interesting facts about their habits. He drove attentively, adjusted our route flexibly, and always made sure we got perfect viewing angles.
We were incredibly lucky to spot a wide variety of animals. We saw tall giraffes wandering across the grassland, hippos resting by the lake, and even lions resting in the shade. Besides these highlights, we also came across zebras, antelopes, plus dozens of beautiful bird species with bright feathers.
Thanks to Charles’s sharp eyes and rich experience, we barely missed any key wildlife. It was an unforgettable experience, and I highly recommend him to anyone planning a safari trip.
