I cannot recommend Hekima Safaris Enough.Not only are the guides friendly, funny and kind, they are extremely professional and experienced , The high management are beyond friendly, super professionalism , From excellent vegetarian food, endless cups of Masala tea, - Our guide and cook are simply the best . Attention to detail, friendly faces, good food, - what more could you ask for in Tanzania ?

So the team Elieza, Jumma, Michael, and Jackson delivered what they promised. It is tough to choose between so many tour operators and eventually, you need to trust your guts before you book one of them. Being a vegetarian they took good care of my needs when it came to food. The accommodation was simply decent. Our guide Jumma made sure we see all the big, ugly and small five. Due to his patience, we also got to see a hunt and it was once in a lifetime experience. Keep up the good work guys.

These guys know what the customer needs very well
Safari is a once in a lifetime opportunity for many and I am no exception. Hekima understood that and brought back the National Geographic kid back to life with an extravagant safari experience. Our tour guide Jumma is a very experienced guide with hawk eyes, who made sure we spot the big five and also rare to spot honeybadger and the Karakal. I will suggest you all to give Hekima a try, as these guys are doing a wonderful job as a start up and bring Tanzanian tourism on the global map.

Great Experience with an Amazing Crew!
The staff at Hekima - right from Elieza, Jackson, Juma, Michael and others, always went the extra mile to ensure nothing short of an incredible safari experience. We were a group of 6 guys and all our needs (including varying dietary requirements) were taken care of. I would also suggest a stay at Hekima House before and after the safari.
Special credit to Juma, who was our driver as well as guide for the 5 days. He had extremely sharp eyes that could spot a honey badger a mile out in the grassland. He took extra efforts to allow us to see the Great Migration that had drifted off farther than the normal safari routes. Add to this his impressive knowledge of the various wild animals and his excellent sense of humor, we really couldn't have asked for a better guide!
Hekima will ensure that extra "personal touch" to your experience. You will end up making friends for life. Highly recommended!

Best budget safari that exceeds expectations!
Six of us went on a Safari with Hekima in the month of June for 5 days. It was one of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had. We had an amazing guide who could spot animals from afar. We were so lucky that we saw all the Big 5, Small 5 and the ugly 5. We had a great cook with us who gave us delicious food to eat and also ensured that everyone’s diet was taken care of. The entire safari was very well handled and our guide went out of his way to take us to see the great migration. It was an absolute pleasure and a wonderful experience. Hekima took care of us and ensured that we had enough water to drink, food to eat and beds to sleep on throughout the journey. We not only had a great experience but made lifelong friendships as well.

Fantastic experience with Hekima safaris
We had an absolutely incredible time with Hekima safaris. When we began looking for safaris ahead of our trip, we were daunted by the huge cost of some of them.
We decided to go with Hekima because they were better value, had amazing reviews and throughout the initial process of organizing our trip were willing to accommodate all of our requests (we were quite specific in the itinerary we wanted to follow, and some other tour operators weren't as flexible).
When we arrived, we weren't disappointed. All of the staff at Hekima couldn't have been more accommodating, and they went out of their way to make everything perfect for us - even when we had a slight mishap and messed up our flight bookings, they were ready to rearrange our agreed itinerary at the last minute. We did a day safari in Arusha national park, followed by a 3 day 2 night camping safari in Serengeti and Ngorongoro and then an overnight hike of Ol Doinyo Lengai (this hike is not for the faint hearted - if you do this, hiking boots and a head torch are a must!).
We couldn't have asked for more from our trip, and are so grateful to Hekima for making it such a great trip - we couldn't recommend them more!

Fanatastic service and safari company
From start to the end you can feel that the guys at Hekima safari wants to give you the best safari experience possibly: excellent knowledge, fantastic persons and outstanding service. At the day the canoeing was closed at the park but they found another lake just as beautiful, no extra charge. We Couldn’t imagine my trip to Arusha nationalpark being any better.
