Excellent
We did a 5-day safari covering the three Northern National Parks with Hekima Safaris, and it was an exceptional East African safari experience from beginning to end. Our guide, Faraji, was outstanding—highly knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly skilled at spotting wildlife. Thanks to his expertise, we were able to see the Big Five along with many other amazing animals.
Everything throughout the journey went very smoothly. The lodges, hotels, and tented camps were comfortable, clean, and well-organized, with friendly and welcoming staff at every stop. The food was excellent and consistently well prepared.
The safari vehicles were clean, comfortable, and in excellent condition, making our game drives enjoyable and relaxing. If there was one small thing we wished for, it would have been a bit more time in the Ngorongoro Crater—but overall, the experience exceeded our expectations.
We were extremely happy that we chose Hekima Safaris for our safari experience in East Africa and would gladly choose them again. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a professional, memorable, and well-organized safari in the region.

A unique and incredible experience
The tour I did was quite pleasant we never had to worry about anything great security, very good food we never got hungry there was always food, incredible communication, for 5 days in terms of money it was reasonable, we always trusted the team and the tour itself was wonderful I have nothing to complain about we were very lucky and we saw all the desired animals and we intended to return

Amazing adventure
From as far back as I can remember, my world was shaped by National Geographic, Animal Planet, and Discovery. Africa wasn’t just a destination for me — it was a lifelong dream, the very top of my bucket list. What I never imagined was that this dream would be fulfilled as a family, with my wife, my in-laws, and our 10-month-old baby — and that it would be executed so flawlessly by Hekima Safaris.
I came into this journey with nothing but a dream and a lot of uncertainty. Traveling with a 10-month-old is no small task, and I had countless concerns. From the very first WhatsApp message, Eli (Mopoo) and John treated every question with patience, warmth, and genuine care. Even late at night, responses were prompt and reassuring. Step by step, they built a highly customized itinerary, always putting my child’s comfort and safety first. That level of attention instantly built trust.
What truly amazed me was how Hekima Safaris managed to craft such a detailed, seamless, and premium experience just one week before our travel date. After comparing multiple operators, it became clear that Hekima offered the best value for money — not because it was cheaper, but because it was truly all-inclusive, private, exclusive, and safe. Every lodge we stayed at — Curio Hilton, Sand River by Elewana, Serena Sweetwaters, and Fairmont Kenya Safari Club — exceeded expectations.
We have traveled extensively across the world, both self-driven and guided, and I can confidently say this: Kenya must be experienced through a tour operator, and this was without question the best guided experience we’ve ever had.
Eli (Mopoo) was with us from day one until the very last moment. His safari vehicle was perfectly prepared, including a car seat for our baby. Beyond that, he was everything you could hope for in a guide — professional, articulate, deeply knowledgeable, and incredibly perceptive. But what set him apart was his kindness and emotional intelligence. He was attentive to every situation, every need, every unspoken concern. By the end of our nine-day journey, he felt less like a guide and more like family.
We traveled during the off-season in late November, and it turned out to be a blessing. The parks felt exclusive and intimate. With pure experience, instinct, and dedication — no GPS, no tracking — Suleiman ensured we saw not just the Big Five, but what I would proudly call the Big Nine. Watching my lifelong dream unfold in such a natural, authentic way felt nothing short of magical.
We are profoundly grateful to Hekima Safaris for assigning Suleiman to us, and to John for overseeing every single detail of the journey — from our very first conversation to flawless coordination with all hotels and lodges. Traveling with elders and a baby can be stressful, but Hekima made it effortless.
During this trip, we celebrated my wife’s birthday and my son’s 10-month-versary — moments that will forever remain etched in our hearts. We couldn’t have chosen a better destination, and more importantly, we couldn’t have chosen a better team to trust with our family.
Hekima Safaris didn’t just give us a safari — they gave us memories, peace of mind, and an experience that exceeded every expectation.

Grand Adventure
Juma was hands down one of the best tour guides we have ever had. From the moment we started the safari, he felt like part of our crew (there were seven of us), and his energy was absolutely amazing. He knew all the right spots, made the entire experience very smooth, and kept the vibe fun and comfortable throughout the trip.
The vehicle was spotless, and juma showed up every day looking sharp and fully ready for adventure. His bright and vibrant attitude was truly contagious. He went above and beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied, helping us spot so many beautiful animals including an unforgettable leopard sighting. That moment was pure magic and happened only because Juma knew exactly how to track and get us there.

Amazing 4 Day safari experience
The experience was truly amazing we managed to see almost all the animals! Our driver, juma , was very kind, patient, and helpful. He made sure we saw everything and always took his time with us. The accommodations were also excellent, very comfortable, and well organized.

Amazing, highly recommend
We did a 6-day safari tour with Hekima and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Our tour guide Juma went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. His deep knowledge of wildlife, positive attitude, and great sense of humor created an amazing vibe within the group from day one. Thanks to him, we were lucky to see all of the Big Five and even witness the great wildebeest migration in Northern Serengeti.
A special mention goes to Chef Baraka, who did an excellent job preparing three delicious meals every day. The food was consistently fresh, tasty, and well presented. My partner celebrated her birthday during the trip, and Chef Baraka went out of his way to bake her a cake and organize a small celebration, which made the moment incredibly special and memorable.
Hekima is a very well-organized company. Everything was arranged with great attention to detail, and communication between the office, guides, drivers, and chefs was excellent. While small itinerary changes can sometimes happen, everything was handled professionally and smoothly, ensuring the experience remained enjoyable and stress-free.
Overall, we felt well taken care of from start to finish. We highly recommend Hekima to anyone looking for a professional, warm, and unforgettable safari experience in Tanzania.
