Unforgettable, beyond-expectation adventures with guides who make every moment magical
I recently returned from a 5-day safari with Hekima Safaris, and I can honestly say it was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. My friend and I arrived with high expectations, and every single one of them was exceeded, many times over.
From the moment we were picked up to the very last day, everything was organised to perfection. Our guides, Ole and Baraka, were exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly, attentive, and passionate about what they do. They made sure we didn’t just see the wildlife, but truly experienced it.
The trip was packed with breathtaking moments: seeing lions up close, watching elephants roam freely, spotting rare birds, and witnessing stunning sunrises and sunsets over the savannah. The accommodations were comfortable, the food was delicious, and the itinerary was perfectly balanced..
It was also fantastic value for money, the quality of service, the experiences we had, and the attention to detail far exceeded what we had hoped for. If I could, I would do this safari over and over again. And if I ever go on another safari, I wouldn’t even consider going with anyone else; it would be Hekima Safaris every time.

Amazing
We had the most incredible 7-day safari experience with Hekima Safaris, and we can’t recommend them highly enough! From start to finish, everything was smooth, professional, and full of unforgettable moments.
Our guide, Juma, was absolutely outstanding — knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly passionate about wildlife. He had an incredible eye for spotting animals and always made sure we were in the perfect spot for the best views and photos. Thanks to him, we saw the Big Five, countless other species, and learned so much along the way!
Juma’s calm energy, great sense of humor, and deep knowledge of the parks (especially Serengeti and Ngorongoro) made each day an adventure in itself. He was patient with all our questions, flexible with the itinerary, and always went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and happy.
The accommodations arranged by Hekima Safaris were wonderful — clean, welcoming, and well located. The whole trip felt thoughtfully planned, yet relaxed and stress-free. We always felt safe, well taken care of, and completely immersed in the beauty of Tanzania.

They really focus in doing anything within their reach to make the experience unforgettable.
I came across Hekima by takling to a friend of mine who did the trip some years ago.
Doing Safari in Africa was always something me and my wife wanted to experience, and we decided to do it for our honeymoon. And what an unforgettable experience it was.
We really had high expectations for this trip and it ended up surpassing them, and Hekima Safaris had a lot to do with that.
All members of the personnel were always really kind and attentive. And a special shout out to our driver Amani (I hope I'm spelling it right). If he's assign to you, believe me when I say you are in good hands.
They are also really flexible, and they customize and adjust the plan based on your preferences without any issues. They even went the extra mile quite a few times. I can tell from my experience that they treat their customers really well.
We enjoy everything of the Safari, from the first to the last day. Each day exceeded our most ambitious expectations, and all have unforgettable moments.

We visited Zanzibar for my 50th birthday as I was born in Dar-es-Salaam and wanted to show my children where I came from and take my 80nyear old mother back . Everything was planned theough Hekima Safaris from our three day safari to Mikumi National Park to the day trips to see the dolphins and other excursions. There were a few hiccups along the way but Hekima-Safaris office staff were professional in how they dealt with these and they were quickly resolved . They also offered a special day in Dar-es-Salaam itself to visit where my parents owned their ice cream parlour 30 years ago (and thats still running now ), which was very much appreciated and made my mums holiday . The safari was amazing and the tour guide the tour guide Paul in particular was brilliant and went above and beyond for us .

Solo in Tanzania: Magical and Safe with Hekima
I went on a solo trip to Tanzania, and Hekima, a local, family-run business, organized an absolutely extraordinary safari for me. I spent three days and two nights between the Serengeti and Ngorongoro, both breathtaking places.

Life is really interesting especially when you happened to know that one of your classmate who used to dream big made it big now. Now am talking about Elieza Rabiet. My name is Nelson Mandela Ladu and Elieza and I both Studied at Tanzania Adventist Secondary School in Arusha Tanzania. After high school life in 2012 we all separated and by then I came back to South Sudan. Time pass by and one night like a dream come true when I saw my friend Elieza Rabiet advertising his activities on social media and I was really thrilled because this same person used to talk a lot about adventure and no wonder the time has come. January 18th 2025, I had the opportunity to visit my friend Elieza Rabiet and the wonderful work he has been doing. Great guy with great personality
We chose Hekima Safaris among many tour operators because of their prompt and professional communication, and we couldn’t have made a better decision! From our initial contact in Germany, Mopoo was incredibly responsive and provided detailed and accurate information. When certain questions required confirmation from his team in Tanzania, he ensured quick and reliable follow ups, always staying true to his word.
Our safari experience was perfectly balanced, beginning with a day in Arusha where we immersed ourselves in the local culture, including traditional dances, followed by a breathtaking sunset hike with Ambrosia. The highlight was our seven day game drive through Tarangire, Central Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater, guided by the exceptional Sindano. Our talented cook, Action, impressed us with fresh, diverse meals every day even baking bread each morning and making pizza in the middle of the Serengeti!
A helpful tip for future travelers: bring warm clothing for the nights spent camping at the Ngorongoro Crater’s edge (2,400m altitude).
