Everything we wanted
Our guide, Ezekiel, was amazing and he catered to exactly what we wanted. When we said we wanted red bananas, he stopped and got some that day. He also brought us to a tribal village to visit when we said it sounded interesting. When we said we wanted to go shopping at a local place, he brought us to a great one. He is also one of the best guides around, and knew where all of the animals were hiding/ sleeping. Other guides looked up to him and asked him for help when their trucks broke down and asked where the elusive jaguars were. We were so lucky to have him!

Mind-blowing safari - it was life time adventure :)
Me and my wife decided to choose Hekima as our tour operator for safari we had May this year. It was our first trip to Africa so we searched info from a lot of internet tips, blogs and forums to get our idea of what safari should be. Since January when I contacted Hekima I was asking a lot of questions and modifying plan at least couple of times.
I must say they were super patient with everything, professional and fast in providing answers but what is more they were simply friendly.
I never felt ignored and since moment we started to communicate by social media they have for me as much time as I needed.
After arriving Arusha, since day one, we felt extra cared. We choose option of 6 days safari with extra activity around Moshi and extended it with two days in Arusha.
The only thing I can say about sleeping at luxury camping is that... They are truly LUXURY and we have never expected it in such a way.
Our guide (Juma it was) was a blast. He is said to be experienced guide and I truly had this impression that he was faster that other drivers to spot animals and he presented this kind of intuition to spot animals before other jeeps arrived which felt quite cool.
Our cookers did great job, especially that my wife is vegan and in not so many countries it is easy for her to find food satisfactory. Marcus - the main chief - went beyond our expectations.
I can say a good word as well about Team in Hekima House - it was more local experience, after safari, gave us some taste of what 'real Tanzania is' as we were happy to join with other hostel guests for local party.
I m still highly impressed of all the work put in order to creat this all for us. For sure, I wish we can be back one day to Tanzania (thinking about mountain now) and with full responsibility I can recommend Hekima as company to organize such holiday for anybody - it is totally worthy to experience!

Brilliant personal service
I had an amazing safari with Hekima, from the minute I contacted them to ask for quotes until after the safari was over, they were brilliant.
During the planning they answered all my questions quickly and thoroughly, and despite the limitations of tourism in December 2021 they made sure the safari went ahead as planned, even adjusting it to align with my flight times!
The lodges and camps were great, and the guide made huge efforts to get us sightings of all the “Big 5”.

I confirm the positive testimonials of the Hekima Safaris Ltd office that organized a two-week trip to Uganda for us. The main attractions were - Bwindi, National Parks - Queen Elizabeth, Lake Mburo, Murchision and Kibale Forest. Apart from the exotic nature, it was an extraordinary experience to visit the local village and several places "off the beaten track". Due to covid, the plan had to be changed during the stay in Uganda (some attractions were closed by the Ugandan government). However, this did not significantly affect the attractiveness of the trip, because the organization was at the highest level and the organizer quickly rebuilt the places and replaced the previously planned attractions with others. Thus, we did not feel any covid inconveniences. The organizer even planned a coronavirus test for us, which is required by the airlines. She made an appointment with the whole group in advance so as not to waste our time. Extra service - I recommend it!

The dream came true
A fantastic trip all together! I contacted several tour agencies and i choose Hekima Safaris as they were very helpful and flexible when it came to organising the trip. They were very prompt in answering all my questions which was very important as i was planning the trip in a hurry.Our guide Ema was very respectful of the animals and at the same time made alot of effort to find all the animals we wanted to see

The experience of a lifetime!
I spent 6 days with Hekima this summer for my 30th birthday, and it was just completely beyond anything that i expected. The guys took hospitality to another level. Upon arriving (the day of my birthday) our now good friend and brother Issa provided us with transport from Arusha Airport to a small but charming hostel in Arusha, where we were melted by Elieza and Jackson. Unknowingly, these guys had made a huge effort to make us all feel welcome....and celebrate my birthday! I had no idea that they knew it was my birthday, but they organised a fantastic party for me and my friends, and all the other guests at the apartments. They provided us with amazing, home cooked food, local cocktails and just a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We were all really overwhelmed by how friendly and welcoming these guys were, and they really treated us as though we were their family. I have been to many places, but have to say that I have never received a reception as warm as this before. They are good friends of us now, and like family. The safari itself went beyond any expectations that we had. We saw everything that we could was to see and more. Issa was our guide, and he was very knowledgable, very kind and very funny. We really had a great time not only on the safari, but just getting to know Issa. We listened to reggae music through the day and just smiled and laughed the entire time. The locations for the safari were incredible, and it was just amazing being so close to nature, and camping in these surroundings. The food provided during the safari was plentiful and of a good standard. I can't say anything other than very positive things about Hekima, and all the guys that put their time and love into running a business that provides people with an experience of a lifetime. I love all of the guys, and I will keep in touch with them long into the future. I hope to see them again soon.

Exceeded the expectations!
My sister and I had 5 days for a safari, and we spent a lot of time researching which safari provider to use. Most of them were not able to arrange Safaris to Serengeti start from Mwanza most of Safaris provider start from Arusha , but Hekima created a customized, one-way itinerary for us by starting our safari in Mwanza and ending in Arusha Hekima finalize our itinerary. Emails were addressed quickly and the guys deals with reservation provided great advice and suggestions. We also like that they have connection with people from Poland made us feel more comfortable submitting payment to them and feeling confident that everything was all set.
They all customer care from Poland they been responding our questions quickly. Our safari guide, Juma was amazing! So so so knowledgeable :) , patient and friendly. He navigated the roads after heavy rains with ease and has eagle-eye vision to spot animals. We saw all the animals and never once felt rushed by him. He was also extremely punctual he showed up the morning of our safari ahead of schedule, and also checked in on us the night before to ensure we checked into the lodge safely.
Hekima runs the Hekima House where we stayed after Safaris , it was fantastic with all the energy of the stuff! Beautifully designed, friendly staff,
There are so many safari companies out there, and I'm sure a lot of them are very good. However, I was very impressed with Hekima Safaris and recommend them eagerly

Great guy with great personality
We chose Hekima Safaris among many tour operators because of their prompt and professional communication, and we couldn’t have made a better decision! From our initial contact in Germany, Mopoo was incredibly responsive and provided detailed and accurate information. When certain questions required confirmation from his team in Tanzania, he ensured quick and reliable follow ups, always staying true to his word.
Our safari experience was perfectly balanced, beginning with a day in Arusha where we immersed ourselves in the local culture, including traditional dances, followed by a breathtaking sunset hike with Ambrosia. The highlight was our seven day game drive through Tarangire, Central Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater, guided by the exceptional Sindano. Our talented cook, Action, impressed us with fresh, diverse meals every day even baking bread each morning and making pizza in the middle of the Serengeti!
A helpful tip for future travelers: bring warm clothing for the nights spent camping at the Ngorongoro Crater’s edge (2,400m altitude).
