Great Experience with a Great Guide
We had a great time with our guide Suleiman. He was extremely knowledgeable about plants and animals. He knew where to go to see most animals and was quite personable. The Land Cruiser was comfortable and a great viewing & travel platform. Only downside was how much travel there was, but it is unavoidable given the vast distances to be covered and provided the opportunity to see more of Tanzania. Overall, highly recommend and would do again.

Excellent and outstanding.
Our family travelled with Lion King Adventures, and the experience exceeded our expectations in every way. The entire trip was extremely well organised and ran smoothly from start to finish.
The planning and coordination were handled with great efficiency and promptness. Caroline and Naurey deserve special recognition for their exceptional attention to detail and clear communication. They were proactive, responsive, and ensured that every aspect of the itinerary was carefully thought through, which made travelling as a family completely stress-free.
The accommodation arranged for us was very good. We stayed in comfortable and well-maintained lodges in Tarangire National Park and Serengeti National Park. The lodges were clean, pleasant, and ideally suited for resting after full days of game drives, adding to the overall quality of the safari experience.
Our guide and driver, Fredrick, was outstanding and played a major role in making this trip so special. His knowledge of the parks, wildlife, and birds was excellent, and he shared it generously throughout the journey. He was consistently punctual, kept the vehicle clean and comfortable, and always ensured we had enough water, soft drinks, and beers available during the drives.
Fredrick’s dedication truly stood out — he went out of his way to ensure we had the best possible sightings and a memorable experience. His professionalism, work ethic, and genuine enthusiasm made this safari one we will remember for a very long time.
We highly recommend Lion King Adventures to anyone looking for a reliable, well-organised, and high-quality safari experience in Tanzania.

A wonderful safari with our guide Enock
Right from the start Lion King were responsive and professional. I contacted a few other safari companies but Lion King were the ones that made me feel like they would give us the best safari. They listened to what we wanted from our safari and came up with initial proposal. We wanted to make a few changes and our sales agent Nickson Anderson duly responded with suggestions for the tweaks we wanted to make.
Once the safari was decided on we liaised with Nickson Obedi, part of the logistics team, who booked the accommodation and made sure we knew all the logistical details to make our safari go smoothly. Before we travelled any questions we had were quickly responded to and they gave us all the information we needed re, visas, vaccinations, where we would be picked up and when etc, to make sure we knew what we needed to do and where we needed to be.
For our 5 night luxury safari Enock was our safari guide. Enock was an excellent guide with an engaging smile and relaxed nature. It was great to learn from him and he was always happy to knowledgably answer our questions. My husband is a keen photographer and Enock always managed to get us into a good position for photos and patiently waited for us to get the shots we wanted.
Enock went out of his way to make sure we got to see everything we wanted to. We saw Leopards, Cheetahs, lots of lions, Elephants, Black Rhinos, Hippos, Giraffes, Zebras and Wilderbeast on migration and so much more.
We visited Lake Manyara, Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengetti National Park and stayed in 3 different accommodations. The accommodation that stood out for us was Nyota luxury camp. From the warm welcome to the luxury tent with a terrace from which you could see giraffes amble past, this camp was fabulous. We would have loved to have stayed longer than 3 nights here.
Everyone in Lion King that we dealt with did an excellent job of giving us a safari to remember. I would thoroughly recommend using them.

Best guide ever!
Amazing time with Lion King Adventures and our guide Salehe!
We went to Tarangire, Ngorongoro and the crater, southern and northern Serengeti. From airport pickup to our last day, Lion king did an amazing job creating our itinerary and selecting our accomodation.
Salehe was so knowledgeable on the animals we saw and we got to see the Big 5 with him. He also shared information on the tribes, flowers, plants and life in Tanzania. He was a great and safe driver as well. He was always accommodating to stop anytime to see anything we wanted from the jeep even if we have seen the same animal multiple times. He was always making sure we had the opportunity to take pictures and also finding great scenes to shoot.
Our accommodations before the parks and our tented accommodations in the park were exceeding our expectations and had all amenities needed (wifi, soap, towels, water, coffee, tea and sometimes toothpaste as well!) and very comfortable beds. Breakfast and dinner were mostly buffet style with all types of local food and we also had a BBQ one night which was very tasteful.
The lunch food during the safari was amazing! It was 5 star picnic with actual silverware and plates, drinks and some sweets at the end.
The people we encountered and Salehe were very welcoming and polite, full of happiness and smiles.
I would definitely recommend Lion King Adventures to anyone!

Amazing safari! Big 5, great guide, worth every penny!
Our one week safari with Lion King Adventures was nothing short of magical. We were incredibly lucky to have Immanuel as our guide - his deep wildlife and location knowledge, and attention to detail made the whole trip feel like a true luxury experience.
We got to see all the Big 5 we had hoped for, plus rare moments like a cheetah and leopard hunt. It genuinely felt like watching a live version of everything we grew up seeing on Discovery Channel.
Every lodge and camp we stayed in was excellent, the food was consistently good, and there wasn’t a single moment of regret. Worth every penny, a dream safari come true.

Wonderful wonderful wonderful
I cannot fault Lion King Adventures on anything. They were great. Nickson who gave us the quote, Rose who dealt with any pre trip questions and Murshid our guide for the safari. He was so friendly, great at spotting the animals and a very careful driver. I really enjoyed our picnics, they were special. Thank you for the wine too. Very nice. We didn't see leopards, seemingly they are very difficult to spot but we saw everything else and more. My favourite day was when we visited Ngorogoro Caldera. I loved it so much. What a fantastic experience.

Wonderful experience - Lion King Adventures made our visit special
There aren't many vacations that end up being even better than we imagined. Lion King Adventures made our first African safari a special experience. From the time our guide Haruni picked us up at the airport until we were dropped off 12 days later, we felt we were in excellent hands. While thrilling at times, we never felt in danger and we learned much more about Tanzania and wildlife than we expected. We have an interest in birds and Haruni went out of his way to point out new and interesting birds and knew an amazing amount about them. He also had excellent books that went into greater detail if we were interested. He was excellent at spotting wildlife throughout the tour and explaining animal behavior. I was often amazed at how he spotted animals hidden in trees hundreds of feet away. He also gave us insight into what life is like for ordinary Tanzanians and even took us to a local flea market. As the only tourists there, it felt special to experience this local event. The lodging choices were all very comfortable and the staff at each were very friendly and customer focused. They made us feel welcome when we arrived and sent us off with joy. We received quotes from a couple other tour operators and found Lion King to be very well priced, and we also liked the fact that they are locally owned so our fees remained in the local economy. We highly recommend Lion King Adventures and if we ever return to Tanzania will choose them as our guide.
