Professional and reliable about creating unforgettable safari experiences
Our safari with Lion King Adventures exceeded expectations. From the very beginning, communication was excellent every question was answered promptly, and the entire trip was organized seamlessly. We always felt well-informed and taken care of.
The safari was incredible. Our guide Mwita was knowledgeable, friendly, and had an amazing ability to spot wildlife while sharing information about the animals, landscapes, and local culture. We were fortunate to see an incredible variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and many other animals.
The accommodations were comfortable, the meals were excellent, and the itinerary was perfectly balanced between adventure and relaxation. We always felt safe, comfortable, and well cared for.
What truly stood out was everyone’s professionalism and dedication to ensuring we had the best possible experience. The service provided was exceptional, and the safari offered outstanding value.
I would highly recommend Lion King Adventures to anyone considering a safari in Tanzania. It was truly the trip of a lifetime, and we would not hesitate to book with them again.

Professional, Knowledgeable, Friendly
I did a lot of research before choosing Lion King. From the start they were very flexible, honest and professional.
Once we booked Rose and Florida walked me through everything.
Peter, a sweetie, picked us up from the airport a few days before our safari.
Good Luck, our guide on our safari, was incredible. His knowledge of all flora , fauna, and animals is beyond words. He took care of everything. Since we keep kosher and the Lion King office wasn't sure what the accommodations could provide we brought basic food. The amazing thing was Good Luck understand it all. Plus all the accommodations and chefs were all aware so we ate incredibly well with no problem.
Our 5 day safari was a dream come true for my husband and I. It could not of been any better!

A brilliant holiday exceeding expectations
We had an amazing 2 week holiday May/June 2026. All aspects worked seamlessly. Our safari guide and driver Hamadi was a very kind and gentle man, incredibly knowledgeable about animals and keen to share it with us. As a keen birder my husband especially enjoyed Hamadi’s thorough knowledge of birds.
We took a balloon flight across the Serengeti which was expensive but a real highlight.
We finished the holiday with 5 nights at Sherazad hotel, Jambiani, Zanzibar. A beautiful hotel right next to the ocean.
Lion King were at all times very responsive when we needed to communicate. We would thoroughly recommend using them.

Amani is very friendly, accommodating, safety, experienced, funny and a good driver.
The safari tour was a 10 out of 10. We saw all the animals. A little luck played a part, but even more so Amani's (our Guide) experience and expertise. The accommodations were all in excellent condition. The food at the accommodations and along the way was delicious and plentiful. My expectations were exceeded.

Best vacation
This review is long overdue. I decided to visit Tanzania in December and commenced organizing it few months prior. I was given this recommendation from a friend. This operator is outstanding start to finish. They organized an incredible trip. Rose was outstanding and super responsive. I love planning trips but this I felt I needed help to organize. My family travels a lot and this was our best vacation. Destinations were all beautiful, safaris were incredible and accommodations spectacular and comfortable. Hotel staff and tour guide so welcoming. Food at each hotel amazing too. Beautiful country and inviting staff. Just an amazing vacation and so memorable! If you decide to travel to Tanzania this is the tour operator you should use and trust me vacation will be spectacular. Highly recommend! Not one tiny reservation. This is a trip of a lifetime.

5 star experience
Overall experience was amazing and highly recommended. We were in Tanzania for 6 days and Lion King took great care of us the moment we arrived at the airport until the end.
Our 5 days private safari for 2 of us included immersive game drives around tarangire, serengeti and ngorongoro as well as a visit to a local market. We saw the big 5 and more. The selection of hotels was also to our liking. Pricing was also very reasonable compared to other quotations provided.
Our experience was enhanced with our very knowledgeable and experienced guide, Joseph, and we would like to thank him for our overall 5 star experience.
Amazing! We got to see and do everything we hoped for!
Our experience with Lion King was incredible from start to finish. We communicated via email and the operator always responded to any questions promptly and were very flexible with flight changes. However, what really made our trip so incredible was our guide, Khalifa. He was knowledgeable, attentive, funny, and an absolute joy to work with. Our tour was worth every penny and we’re already trying to find a time to return!

An Unforgettable Family Experience – Highly Recommended!
Our safari trip included Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara. It was incredible, an experience that we will forever cherish. Lion King made all the arrangements throughout the trip without a single mishap; all of our expectations were greatly surpassed.
I want to make a special mention of our guide, Geofrey. Time after time, he demonstrated his deep wildlife knowledge and high level of commitment. We witnessed firsthand other guides who drove like maniacs or showed very little consideration for their guests.
When you embark on a safari for six or more days, you depend heavily on a professional and knowledgeable person who is also a good human being. You are, after all, entrusting your family to a stranger. Seeing how other guides operated made me realize how lucky we were. I will never book another safari trip without having Geofrey as our guide.

I will remember it forever
The impeccable service and our guide, Suleiman, whose deep knowledge of the local flora and fauna was truly remarkable, made our experience something magical that we will remember forever. In just five days, we had become rafiki (friends), and leaving filled us with a sense of nostalgia.
