First Class Hermosa
The service and care of the Hermosa Tours team was next level. From pick-up to drop off, we were treated as first class travellers and have nothing but praise for them. The knowledge, skill and flexibility of our driver (Baptiste) was marvellous. We would be delighted to go again both to Akagera and with Hermosa Tours.

Great choice for Family trip
We were recommended this company by friends who did a trip to Akagera National park, the team is amazing from the planning stage, very flexible and communication is on top. Gorilla Chimpanzee trek in Rwanda
I found Hermosa Life Tours and Travel and from the beginning Yvonne was super helpful and responsive, adapting our trip to Nyungwe and Vulcanoes The trip with our guide Augustin was incredible!! We got to see gorillas and chimpanzees very close, like one meter away! We also went on two amazing community walks, seeing wonderful dances and learning how Rwandan people live. We chose the midrange option for our accommodation We loved our trip and when we come back to East Africa we’ll make sure to book our trip with this company! Cheers team Hermosa

Amazing tour
TLDR: I highly recommend Hermosa life tours. We booked the 1-day gorilla trekking program.
Oreste and Hermosa admins were very responsive in terms of communication. Also they also sent us plenty trip reminders.
The tour guide Patrick did a fantastic job. Our trip starts in the early morning at 4:30am (since we stay in Kigali and we need to arrive at Volcanoes national park at 7:30am).
The trekking requires about an hour of hiking on muddy ground. And we get to watch the gorillas close for an hour. It was all worth it.
The only downside is that the vehicle seems to need some maintenance, but our guide Patrick was resourceful enough to fix the issue.
The program finishes by noon, but it is still a long drive back to Kigali. We are very appreciative of Oreste and Patrick from Hermosa for taking us to a wonderful trip of gorilla trekking. Highly recommended experience.

Our trip was amazing and memories are still fresh.
We were indeed lucky that this agency chose Claude as our guide. He was so fantastic that he could spot leopards that no one else could spot. He had great knowledge about birds, butterflies, plant species, insects, and of course all animals. Apart from being very fast on email responses, the team back in the office keeps in touch with us on the safari. They proposed for us both luxury and mid-range properties and we had to choose what favors our budget, this shows you how friendly this team is, they keep in mind a guest’s budget too. We were even allowed to suggest or eliminate anything from our tour in case we did not like it. Our trip was amazing and memories are still fresh.

Best Time To Visit
Rwanda is a great destination and it is my second home now, it is beautiful and the weather here is so perfect. We planned with Hermosa Life tours and travel a trip full of history, culture and nice people surrounded. It is by far the greatest trip I have ever experienced, seeing the wildlife in person with perfect lodging plus our incredible driver David was everything. Hermosa Life Tours and Travel is the BEST company I've ever used for travel. Their communication was top notch, and they always replied to my emails extremely quickly. They were easy to work with regarding any changes we needed to make including a late change request. Hermosa Life Tours made all our changes easy to do. They were flexible and helpful throughout the entire process and they checked on us during our tour to make sure we were doing well. Friendly, informative, helpful. Abu (& Hermosa Travel) made our trip an absolute delight.
Rwanda is a beautiful country with friendly people and wonderful accommodations. The treks to see the Gorillas and Golden Monkeys the reason for visiting. The guides, porters, and trackers are very professional and the time with these animals was beyond description. But the real highlight turned out to be our guide, Abu. He was effiable, knowledgeable, very prompt, extremely personable, and made sure we had whatever we needed. He treated us as old friends from the moment we met him. He took us on a fabulous walking tour around Kigali. We thoroughly enjoyed our conversation and learning more the country, about him, his upbringing and his family. We were even treated to the opportunity to see his childhood home and the area where he grew up. Abu is an attentive driver, great conversationalist, enthusiastic photographer, and we are happy to consider him a friend - he really made the trip for us. Thank you!!
