An unforgettable safari made even more special by the people behind it.
Our 5-day safari with Antonio Safaris was truly one of the best travel experiences we’ve ever had. Looking back, we honestly can’t think of anything we would change.
Before the trip, Edna was wonderful to work with. We made a few changes to our itinerary during the planning process, and she was always patient, quick to reply, and happy to help. She answered all of our questions, making everything feel easy and stress-free before we even arrived in Kenya.
Once the safari began, Evans made the trip unforgettable. He is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and passionate about wildlife. You can immediately tell that guiding isn’t just his job—it’s something he genuinely loves. He was always explaining animal behavior, answering our endless questions, and making sure we had the best possible experience.
One of our favorite memories was watching a lion stand up right in front of us. Evans told us he has his own way of reading lion behavior and suggested we wait a little longer instead of moving on. His patience paid off, and a few minutes later the lion stood up and began walking. It was an unforgettable moment that we’ll never forget.
Evans is also an excellent wildlife photographer. He carries a professional camera with a powerful telephoto lens. Since we didn’t bring a long lens ourselves, he kindly shared many of the incredible photos he had taken during our safari. Having those beautiful close-up shots of the animals means so much to us, and it was such a thoughtful thing to do.
He also never rushed from one place to another. Whenever we came across a breathtaking view—especially during sunset—he would often stop the vehicle and encourage us to get out, take photos, and simply enjoy the scenery. Those quiet moments were just as memorable as seeing the wildlife.
Every destination had something special. Seeing Mount Kilimanjaro rising behind the elephants in Amboseli was absolutely breathtaking and one of those views that photos can hardly do justice. At Lake Naivasha Resort, we even had the chance to watch hippos being fed from the lodge, which was such a unique and unexpected experience.
Another highlight was the accommodation arranged by Antonio Safaris. Every lodge and camp was different, but they all shared one thing in common—they were beautifully integrated into nature. Waking up to birdsong, enjoying breakfast surrounded by stunning landscapes, and spending peaceful evenings listening to the sounds of the African bush made the safari feel immersive even when we weren’t out on game drives. Every place was comfortable, welcoming, and carefully chosen.
The entire trip was smooth, well organized, and thoughtfully planned. Thanks to Evans, we were lucky enough to see the Big Five along with so many other incredible animals, but what we’ll remember most is how personal the experience felt. We never felt like just another group of tourists.
A huge thank you to Edna for all her help before the trip and to Evans for making every day so special. If you’re planning a safari in Kenya, we wholeheartedly recommend Antonio Safaris. We wouldn’t hesitate to travel with them again.

Great company
It is my first time to Africa and Antonio didn’t disappoint. He great at communicating prior to our trip which put my mind at ease. The morning of the trip he was right on time and pleasant! On the way to the safari, he talked about the city which was nice. During the safari, he was great about spotting animals of all sizes and knowledgeable about the animals behaviors. Next we went to the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage. He waited in the car with our things. He took us to a local restaurant and souvenir shop. The food was delicious. After that we went to the Giraffe Centre. He planned the entire day perfectly. The jeep was clean and comfortable. He provided bottle water. I HIGHLY recommend Antonio Safaris!!

Perfect one day trip in Nairobi National Park
We had a great one day trip in Nairobi National Park! Antonio was an amazing guide with lots of knowledge about the park, the animals and Kenya in general. He was the best possible guide we could have had. Evans was absolutely amazing in every aspect!
We spent the week with Ivan and it was absolutely amazing. He did not say anything negative about the trip that we had. He was accommodating, fun to talk with and hang around with. He showed us all small little details and places. He was extremely educated and knowledgeable about everything in regards to Kenya, from politics to nature and animals, and he would not ask for a better guide to ask. Seriously that was one of the best guides I ever had on that travel a lot.

Evans, our guide, was incredible. He gave us information about evrything in Kenya. We had many unbelivable experiences. We saw all animals and the safaris were 10 out of 10.
