Exceptional guide at Ol Pejeta
Evans was our guide for three days at Ol Pejeta and he was fantastic! His knowledge of wildlife is impressive - he could spot the tiniest animals we would have never seen on our own and shared really interesting facts about everything we encountered. He's also genuinely friendly and made us feel completely at ease throughout the trip.
Bonus: Evans takes amazing photos! The pictures he captured for us are some of our favorite memories from Kenya.

Amazing safari and experienced guide
We had an amazing safari experience to the Masai Mara for 4 days. Our guide Francis was very friendly and experienced. He knew the park very well and could get us to see exciting animals quickly if he heard about it from other guides such as lions, cheetahs, and leopard. He knew a lot about the animals and the area. He was patient and friendly. We saw so much including lion, cheetah, leopard, serval cat, elephant, giraffe, hyena, zebra, hippo, and more. We felt the price of the safari was very fair considering how much we saw and got to experience. Pick up and drop off also went very smoothly. We didn’t have to worry about anything like food and transportation besides enjoying our safari. We already want to come back again one day and would choose Antonio Safari again!!

Excellent Service
We went on safari trip with Antonio. We were picked up punctually from Nairobi and driven to Amboseli where we spent 2 magical days driving around and greeting Elephants, Cheetah and numerous ungulates around the marshes. Antonio showed us many the diverse landscapes of Amboseli and explained the various rituals and signs the savannah wild folk followed.
We then drove to Naivasha and walked the Crescent Island with Walter (from Walter's Green Belt Initiative). It felt magical to walk amongst the Zebras, Impalas and Giraffes. The silence was only broken by the sound of hoofs or the songs of the numerous Fish-eagle couples on the island. We also made the acquaintance of Joel, who is a doorman at the Naivasha lake resort. He is a real asset to the establishment. The chef at the resort spoke with us and made special food for us according to our dietary requirements. The facilities were great!
The next day we drove to the Mara Sarova resort in the Masai Mara. Almost all the staff working there were amazing and affable. They looked after us very well. We would specifically like to thank the chefs -Douglas and Daisy for cooking for us. Then there was the barman Daglous - always ready with a big smile and quick banter. We stayed in tent 60 which is at the far end of the lodge so we were carried around in electric buggies by Nelson and Sordo (both Masai men) - they were so full of stories about the mara.
The Mara itself is magical and Antonio knew it like the back of his hand. He ensured that we were always amongst the first on the scene. Sometimes we were the first on the scene for quite a while because he agreed to turn off the radio at our request so that we could observe the wild folk unobtrusively. We lost count of the number of lions we saw but we also saw 4 cubs which is probably rarest of the rare. We almost saw a hunt as well. I guess when you have a good guide in a grassland environment then the phone camera is enough but I will definitely recommend to get good binoculars while visiting going on Safari anywhere.
We were eventually driven back to Nairobi where Antonio alsa arranged an impromptu visit to the Nairobi national park because we couldn't find any Rhinos in the Masai Mara or at Amboseli. That time his younger cousin, Charles drove us who is also great but Antonio was a cut above the rest - just like Godson from Africa Safari in Tanzania. I guess we have been serendipitously lucky in terms of the guides who have shown us around - they are very compassionate to the jungle folk and the people alike.
Lastly, while researching itineraries and discussing options, Titus Gitonga was very helpful in slicing and dicing various options throughout.
We are very satisfied at how it all worked out and we are thankful to Antonio and his great team for that.

Competence meets Kindness
Anthony answered fast and with all important information - everything later on the safari was like quoted. Our guide Francis was competent and friendly. We had a great safari at the Masai Mara seeing loins, cheetahs, elephants, etc.

Antonio was fabulous as a guide.
Antonio was out guide and driver. He knew all the game parks like the back of his hand. He offered us longer drives - almost all day long rather than the standard morning and evening drives so that we could get deeper into the parks and see areas most people wouldn't get to see. Friendly, knowlegable, everything you could ask for in a safari guide.

Exceptional, world class service from start to finish.
From my first email I had sent out enquiring about booking the safari, Naomi at Antonio Safaris was extremely helpful, no matter what question I had, she replied so promptly and efficiently I was super impressed. So we left Ireland really looking forward to the safari. We were collected in Nairobi the morning of our adventure and driven all the way to Amboseli with Evans as our tour guide. From the warm, friendly reception we received as soon as we met Evans we knew we were going to have a good experience. On the four and a half hour drive to Amboseli, myself and my wife had a great conversation with Evans and learnt so much about Kenya on the journey. Our two kids were immediately happy to be jumping in the back of the land cruiser and heading off on their first safari experience. Upon arrival at Kibo camp we checked in, grabbed some lunch and Evans told us when and where to meet for the afternoon game drive. His extensive knowledge of all the wildlife we encountered along the game drive made the experience so much more educational and engaging than we could have imagined. I had never heard of a spoon bill before and these are now my 5 year old sons favourite bird :). Evans navigated the dusty terrain of Amboseli with expertise and we always felt safe. After leaving the park that evening, Evans gave us two options, 6 am game drive the next morning or leave after breakfast at 8:30am and spend longer in the national park, we opted for the 6 am game drive and it was so worth it. There were memories created for our family that we would have never been able to experience without Antonio Safaris and specifically Evans, thank you. We will be back and will definitely be going straight to Antonio Safaris directly for any of our future safari experiences.

Evans is an incredibly kind and amazing guide, always caring, attentive, and focused on you.
We spent three amazing days at the Taita Hills Sanctuary, spotting animals and soaking up the wild. Evans was with us the whole time, and honestly, he was the reason our experience was unforgettable. From the very first moment, he wanted to know what we hoped to see and what we wanted to get out of the trip. We got to see every animal we’d wished for and learned so much about how they live in their natural habitat. We enjoyed two full days of safari and a half day when we arrived, and even added a night safari (an extra paid activity offered by the hotel) for that extra thrill. We had no problem communicating in English, and Evans was perfectly understandable at all times. Even my husband, who has a hearing impairment, was able to communicate and understand him without any problem. I would describe it in three words: incredible, special, unforgettable.
