EASY TRAVEL WILL HELP YOU HAVE THE TRIP OF A LIFETIME
5/5

We spent a lot of time researching safari tour companies using safaribookings.com, but there are so many companies it's hard to tell which one to use. In the end we opted for Easy Travel and I'm so glad we did. We chose Easy Travel because they are owned by a Tanzanian family and we wanted to use a service that was invested in the local economy and environment. They were also very well reviewed, have received numerous awards, and have very high standards for their driver guides. I cannot recommend Easy Travel enough - they were a real joy from the planning stages to the safari itself, and we feel so fortunate to have worked with them.

From the onset, I was impressed by how quickly Voice from Easy Travel got back to me and worked to customize a 6 day, 5 night safari that would meet our goals and fit into the rest of our travel plans. From the planning stage through the safari itself, Voice was incredibly helpful and communicative. I felt like we were in great hands and trusted that we would be well taken care of.

From the moment we landed at Kogatende in the Northern Serengeti, we were in the capable hands of Simone, our driver guide. We could not have been more fortunate! Simone is an experienced (20+ years) guide who shared a wealth of knowledge about the animals, their habitat, the Tanzanian geography and landscape, and Tanzanian culture. He was great at spotting the animals, but his talents didn't end there; Simone taught us about their behavior, how they interacted with each other and their environment. Each night we would collapse in blissful exhaustion from all we had seen and absorbed that day. In addition to being an incredibly thoughtful and knowledgable guide, Simone was also a wonderful traveling companion. On days we were traveling between camps or parks, we had wonderful conversations and learned so much about Tanzanian history and culture. It is a magnificent country, and I feel much richer for having had a chance to see so much of it, meet so many Tanzanian people, and learned about what life is like there. It was very hard to leave.

In terms of the tour itself - it was amazing. We began with two nights in the Northern Serengeti, then two nights in Central Serengeti and ended with a night at the Ngorongoro Crater. I would be hard pressed to choose a favorite - each were really wonderful. We did a "comfort" level tour which meant we were in tented camps for all of the stays. The camps were all wonderful, with comfortable beds and either good or very good food at each one. My husband and I are vegetarian and that was never an issue - every camp was accommodating. The beauty of the camps is that you're right there in the park, and many days I woke up to find a zebra or a tower of giraffe within spitting distance of the tents. They are all very safe, with walkie talkies in each tent and staff escorts if you are walking around after dark. We loved the tradition of "bush tv" - a campfire at night before dinner to talk about the day and enjoy a beverage if you're inclined. The Easy Travel jeeps are great - as comfortable as the roads allow, reliable, and stocked with water and sodas.

Over the course of the trip we saw all of the big 5 (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, buffalo), the ugly 5 (hyena, wildebeast, warthog, maribu stork, vulture) and many many others, from baboons to ostrich to jackals to cheetahs and many different types of birds. In particular we saw many lions including one that was eating a zebra and two that were mating. We watched graceful giraffe and zebras, saw a croc trying to swallow a topi antelope, and observed the indecisive wildebeest as they tried to find the best place to cross the Mara River for their migration from Kenya to Tanzania. We also enjoyed a spectacular early morning balloon safari which gave us a Birds Eye view of the beautiful River and many animals in their morning routines. The balloon ride was a splurge, but we figured we'd only be there once and it was worth spending the money. Like the safari itself, it exceeded all expectations. Overall the trip was priceless, and a great value for what we spent.

We hope to go back to Tanzania with family in the next few years to share the experience with others. When we do, we will definitely be using Easy Travel again and requesting Simone as our guide.

There is nothing that could be done to have made our safari adventure trip any better!
5/5

Every aspect of our trip was perfect

From the very first contact, Voice at Easy Travel answered my queries and helped me put together the perfect trip. The lodges chosen were great and the itinerary worked brilliantly.

Our driver Aniny was a fantastic guide and his enthusiasm for Tanzania, the animals, culture and people meant we learned so much during the trip, with his super-human animal-spotting and getting-close-to-animals powers and endless patience to give us as long as we wanted watching the animals even right at the end of each day. His driving was swift, smooth and safe. Every journey with Aniny was a pleasure for me and my family.

The whole trip was incredible.

Easy Travel was great to work with and will customize your safari to your needs.
5/5

We did a 10 day Wildebeest migration safari in central and northern Serengeti in Tanzania. This was my favorite vacation we have ever taken. The scenery was breath taking and animals were everywhere! Several times animals walked right by our vehicle! Much of our wonderful experience was due to our guide, Freddy. He has 20 years of experience and it really shows. Every day we thought we had seen all there was to see, but he would manage to find something new and amazing! Easy Travel was also a pleasure to work with. Everything was taken care of and worked seamlessly. We stayed in the Arusha Serenity Lodge, the Tarangire Sopa Lodge, the Manyara Serena Lodge, the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge, the Kubukubu Tented Camp, and the Lemala Kuria Hills Lodge. All of the accommodations were wonderful and the staff everywhere were extremely friendly and helpful. The Lemala Kuria Hills Lodge was next level, with a glass wall (on a tent!) over looking the Serengeti and a private plunge pool! The chef there is excellent, as is the spa. The entire staff made us feel like honored guests.

Easy Travel takes care of everything so you don't have to.
5/5

I researched many safari companies and choose Easy Travel and they did not disappoint. They handled everything after we decided which type of tour and all we had to do was show up. From lodging, meals, transfers, balloon ride, small plane ride and most important provided a fabulous driver/guide, Freddy, who was with us the whole 10 days. Freddie was incredible, with an ability to not only spot animals early, but position us for the best views. We saw the Big Five, including a lion stalking its prey. He was also a very safe driver who made us feel comfortable at all times. Ask for Freddy for a lifetime experience.

Tanzania was beautiful as we visited Taraguire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater and both the Central and Northern Serengeti, then flew back to Arusha.

Thank you Easy Travel for the best vacation and incredible experience.

Trip of a life time - Amazing Safari and Guide
5/5

East Travel was so amazing to work with. They customized a very extensive 4 day safari for my wife and I, and were incredibly accommodating in the planning process. They were fast and responsive in communication and even helped us when our departing flight to Zanzibar got delayed.
The safari was amazing and our guide Louis was simply the best. He was very friendly, made us feel safe and truly was a personal encyclopedia on all things Tanzania. He has 30 years of experience guiding, used to be a park ranger in the Serengeti and everywhere we went people knew him and mentioned how lucky we were to have him. He always knew the best places to go and even managed to help us see the big 5 animals! Highly recommend Easy Travel and if you can, request Louis as a guide!

6 Day Easy Travel Tanzania Safari with Denis
5/5

I can't say enough good things about Denis who drove us around the amazing parks of Tanzania for 6 days on our game drives. Although I have no other driver to compare him to, I can’t think that many, if any, could surpass his game spotting ability, attention to detail and service. Every morning Denis arrived ahead of schedule and ready to go with a cleaned and stocked Land Cruiser. And then once we were on our way we were thrilled with all the wildlife Denis was able to show us. I know I will miss some but from multiple Cheetahs, Leopards, Lions to numerous to count, Hyenas, Elephants, Giraffes, Rhinos, Hippos, Dik-diks, Wildebeest, Impalas, and Baboons, Zebras, and Gazelles galore, along with Denis’ favorite - the Topi, he showed us it all. His game spotting ability was typified by him spotting a python in a tree as we drove down the road. How he was able to pick it out in a tree while driving down the road is still amazing. So if you want to see all the game Tanzania has to offer as well as its lovely landscape then Denis is your driver and Easy Travel the team to make it happen with him.

Musa, Charles, & their team's outstanding Kilimanjaro Trek
5/5

I know this review is long but I hope you take the time to read it because I cannot say enough good things about Musa, Charles, and their team. If you can book them for your adventure up Kilimanjaro, do it! You will not be disappointed because they are the ones who got me to the summit of Kilimanjaro. Without them I would not have succeeded. While the gear was top notch (great tents, thick sleeping pads, very warm sleeping bags, fantastic private toilet tent, plus more) and the back office support of Easy Travel great, it was the dedication of and service provided by Musa, Charles and the trekking team that stands out. Their attention to detail and regularly providing service above and beyond the call of duty was inspiring and much appreciated. For example, on a number of the days, after breaking camp, carrying everything to the next site and setting it up, many of the team back tracked along the trail to meet us to lend support and encouragement. Our “trail angels” as we took to calling them, seemed to know just when to show up to lighten our load, providing us with that extra spark of encouragement that enabled us to see the day through to the end. Something, that at my age of 63, I’m not ashamed to admit that I needed. Also other hikers, after observing the attention we were given by Musa, Charles, and the team, and asking if we were paying extra for the heightened level of service, were surprised to find out the answer was no. They also seemed a bit envious. However, it is not surprising coming from a team that has a commitment to the single unifying goal, which they shared with us several times, of getting us safely to the summit and then down. A commitment they demonstrated time and again, putting actions to their words. And I would be remiss if I did not also call out the outstanding food provided by the team Chef, Said. His delicious dishes provided us with the energy we needed to power on. So, if you have the dream of making it to the summit of Kilimanjaro, Musa, Charles, and their team can help you fulfill it! They truly are dream makers.

Unforgettable safari ! Amaizing experience
5/5

To discover Ngorongoro crater even if Tarangire was amaizing. Starting by Tarangire Park and continuing to Ngorongoro is a good choice. Valence, our french speaker guide, is very professional, nice person who is listening us. He contributes to make this safari unforgettable!
