Well-organised and pleasent tour in Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and Tarangire.
4/5

Despite some clouds and slight rain in end-may, we had a very impressive journey with our guides.
Lake Manyara tour was clam, not a lot of other tourists and the ride was comfortable. In Ngorongoro, there were of course some other tourists, so we totally recommend the trip in low-season (no idea how crowded the crater would get in high season!). We saw a lot of different animals in these two parks, satisfactory of course.
In Tarangire, there were unfortunately not a lot of animals, mainly elephants we did see, but the landscape was magnificent and the day could be enjoyed nevertheless. Our safari guide provided us with many details about the wildlife but let us enjoy the trip with his pleasent reserved attitude.

The social and cultural tour in Mto wa Mbu was more interesting and less exhausting than we expected - all visited groups and societies were calm but still interesting. We learned a lot about many aspects of local peoples everyday life.
For the accomodation, the tents were really nice, gives some outdoor feeling and the living in twiga campsite was relaxing. The chef provided good food in exaggerated quantities.
Overall a very recommendable tour and an inspiring trip, thank you so much!

nice Kilimanjaro trip
5/5

my friend with me(33 and 35 women, not very strong) went to Kilimanjaro Machame route 6days with adventure(kilimanjaro safari).the guy in charge Castro Kapela is very good. the guide HONEST is very professional, he help us went to the top. guide assistant Mr Peter is very good too.

we are not very strong, and we do not exercise regularly. so we don't have confident to the top.

Machame route 6days is very hard, i strongly recommend Machame route with 7days, it's more time to adjust yourself.

day1 is easy, hiking in rainforest. from about 1800m to 3000m, about 5 hours.

day2 is harder than the first day. less tree, and more rock, some time have to climb with hands. from about 3000 to 3850(shira camp), about 5 hours. It's the shortest time all the tour.

day3 is very hard. long way, up and down. from3850 to 4600(lava tower) to 4000(barranco camp). about 8hours.

day4 is also very very hard. long way, difficult to climb(especially barranco wall). 4000 to 4100(karanga camp, if Machame route 7days, you will stay in this camp. it's better to take a break.) to 4600(barafu camp)about 10hours(lunch break 1 hour). we arrived barafu camp about 4pm, after dinner, we got a short sleep, then wake up in 11pm, and start climbing to the top in midnight(12am).

day5 is the hardest day. it's very cold and sleepy. we followed the line and keep moving slowly. from 4600-the top. we used 8hours, yes we were slow, but we did it.

after that, from top-barafu camp, about 2 hours. then have a rest, went to high camp 3950, about 2 hours. totally 12hours.

day6 is very easy. from high camp to Mweka gate 1640, about 3 hours.

tips: bring a vacuum cup, it's very useful day5.

use 7days is better than 6days.

a private toilet is comfortable.

a professional guide is very very important, my guide Honest is very good.

Great one day Safari
5/5

I did a solo one day Safari to Arusha National Park. We saw plenty of wild animals, many up close. Giraffe, Cape Buffalo, Zebra, Wart Hog, Waterbuck, Flamingo, Baboon, and Monkey. My guide was extremely knowledgable, friendly, and spoke great English.

Perfect 4 day Safari <3
5/5

I booked my 4 days Safari with Kilimanjaro Trip Safaris on the Internet. From the beginning all questions asked on Email were answered immediately and super friendly by Castro, the Manager of the Company.
We arrived at Kilimanjaro Airport in the evening and Castro picked us up und drove us to Moshi to the Hotel from where we started our Safari the next morning.

Everything was organised perfectly. Everybody was always in time and the Safari and scedules were just like Castro told us.
Patrick our Guide was such a great Person to have around and talk (plus a super Driver also). He knew all the good places and was so happy to show us ALL the animals and gave us always enough time to just sit and watch or take pictures.
One day we even had our privat Chef, Ally, he made us an amazing meal for dinner and breakfast when we stayed in the Hostel in Serengeti NP, it was the best food we had on our whole trip in Tansania and Sansibar, nothing short of amazing!!!! This one night we stayed there was the best of our trip and i would highly recommend to everybody who has the Chance to stay there at least 2 nights.
All the places we stayed were perfectly picked, comfy beds, super clean rooms and bathrooms.

It was just me and my boyfriend in the car, so no other tourists we had to share with :) this was a big plus also (y)

All together i can higly recommend Kilimanjaro Trip Safaris, it was the perfect Safari experience for us, they're all doing an amazing Job!!!

Great Safari! - would highly recommend
5/5

We went on the 4-day Tanzania Wildlife Exploration safari in mid-August this year and would highly recommend it! Our guide & driver Emmanuel was incredibly knowledgeable and would often find rare animals where no other guides were even looking. Throughout our trip we saw all the animals we were hoping for (except for a leopard sadly) and even lions feeding next to our car (which was quite scary). It was great to have such an enthusiastic guide like Emmanuel with us who, together with our private chef Freddy, really made our trip incredibly enjoyable.
The meals Freddy prepared for us were always tasty and exactly what we needed after a long day of wildlife watching.
The only issues we had with the organisation of the trip where due to Rhino Lodge in Ngorongoro Crater being booked out (we were supposed to stay there the last night) which led to Castro booking us into the Serengeti Research Hostel for two nights instead of one. Personally, I would not recommend this hostel as it is really very, very "basic" and we had quite a few issues with our room. When we mentioned our unhappiness with the hostel and the planned two-night-stay to Emmanuel however, he was very understanding and helpful and he and Castro organised for us to instead stay at a beautiful lodge just outside of Ngorongoro Crater for our last night. We really appreciate the way Emmanuel, Freddy and Castro handled the situation which made our trip so much better than it already was!
Overall we would highly recommend using Kilimanjaro Trip Safaris to explore the northern national parks and the 4-day safari was the perfect length to take all of it in for the first time. We could not have asked for a better guide and chef and were quite sad to say goodbye to Freddy and Emmanuel in the end.

Great Safari experience
5/5

Prior to the safari, Castro was great at communicating, and is able to change the itinerary if required. We booked the 5 day 4 night lodge safari, which was well priced compared to some other companies. We changed the first accommodation, which looking back at it now, there wasn't any need to do this as we had very little time at the accommodation. Our Driver and guide was Rashid, he was knowledgeable and helpful. Whilst at the national parks, all the guides would communicate with each other so they knew where the animals were. We had a Chef cook us lunches every day and dinner while we were at Serengeti, and his food was great - some of the best food we had all holiday

Day 1 we had a safai to Lake Manyara, it was a long drive from Arusha, we were told the drive was 2 hours, however it took 4! Didn't see loads of animals here, however we did see a young baby elephant which was a highlight of this park.
Day 2 we had a safari at Tarangire, lots of animals here, and we were lucky to see a Cheetah and lions.
Day 3 , we drove to Serengeti, long drive, but was worth it, and lots to see on the way. We stayed at Serengeti Research Hostel, which was great, there was no web site, so we didn't know what to expect, but it was a nice surprise. I think there were 4 en suite rooms, a shared lounge and a kitchen area, however no one else was staying there so we had the place to ourself with the guide and chef. We were surrounded by wildlife it was great. The Chef cooked us a lovely dinner, took a while, but was worth the wait!
Day 4: We had a couple of game drives in Serengeti - We were lucky enough to see a Leopard and lions in the tree!
Day 5: Ngorongoro crater - amazing park, lots of wildlife and great views. We saw a few male lions close up, and a Pride of lions walked right past the van. Didn't get to see the Black Rhino though
We stayed at Rhino Lodge, nice place, however it does get cold here at night and early morning so pack something warm!

Overall, we would definitely recommend this company for booking a safari, wish we could do it all again

Great safari trip!
5/5

We had a great time at our Safari trip arranged by Castro! We went for a 3-day tour in June and they did their best to make sure that we had a great time and got to see as many animals as possible. Our driver was Patric who were super nice to hang out with, and our chef (don’t remember his name) made the most AMAZING food. It was probably the best food we ate on our whole Tanzania trip.

The only negative thing was that we wasn’t informed to bring our own towels and toilet paper to the camp (we had a tent). So a checklist of what to bring before the safari tour would be nice.

Overall, you should definitely book your safari trip with Castro! We had a was great communication before arriving and he answered all the questions we had. Very reliable and kind.
