Trip Ngorongoro Highlands to Lake Natron
Walking tour during 3 days from the Ngorongoro Highlands, Empakai Crater, through Masai land villages, along Oldonyo Lengai Volcano to lake Natron with donkey transport guided by armed ranger and the Masai warriors. Very impressive landscapes! Absolutely recommendable!

Unforgettable experience
We had an amazing safari experience with our driver guide James who was excellent at animal watching, our accommodation was excellent. It was a journey of a lifetime for us! We highly recommend our guide James and the entire team that organized our trip. Thank you very much to all!

We did 7 days Safari with Tanzania Exclusive Journey. It was a great trip, we visited Ngorongoro, Serengeti and Lake Eyasi area. Our guide Ian was very helpful and professional. In Ngorongoro and Serengeti we saw a lot of animals (especially lions) but the most impressive was visiting 2 tribes at lake Eyasi - Hadzabes and Datoga. Our local Eyasi guide, Musa, gave us a lot of information about these tribes, their culture, way of life, etc.
Just before the fly home, we try a small climbing to Kilimanjaro.
What was also very nice - the care of from Tony who was our contact during the preparations to safari. He greeted us at the Arusha airport, then called few times during safari to be sure if everything is ok.
So I can strongly recommend to you services of Tony and Tanzania Exclusive Journeys, and worth to recommend. At the camping we had also a chef - John, who prepared us very tasty meals (big portions!).

SOMETHING NEW EVERYDAY!
We had a terrific guide named Ian for a five day safari of Taragire National Park, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti. We became close friends and he knew where all the game was. We spotted elephants and male lions every day, along with the all the big game including a rhino charging a water buffalo, a cheetah with her cub, hippos, and 25 hyenas, some with blood on their necks from a fresh kill. Every day was a new adventure including hanging out with all of the guides, once everyone else was asleep in their tents, drinking with them and telling stories. It was a trip full of memories.
In Zanzibar, we stayed at Sea Cliff Resort on the northwest side of the island. Again, all the transfers went smooth and everything was taken care of. This resort was a slice of heaven for sure. The bars/restaurants were great, the two infinity pools, the pier to watch sunsets, the spa, the food, the service. We also booked a few excursions with the hotel - to Prison Island and a tour of Stone Town. Also on the actual evening of my birthday we paid the guy who originally picked us up at the airport about $80 to take me all the way out to the northeast side of the island so that we could have dinner at the Rock Restaurant (if you've never heard of it, Google it, trust me). The drive is about 90 minutes and he sat there for 2 hours and waited in the van while we enjoyed the scenery and dinner. That was $80 well spent.
In conclusion, I can honestly say that this was probably my favorite trip yet. That is saying a lot because I've taken amazing trips to Cambodia, Iceland, Brazil, Peru, French Polynesia, New Zealand, etc. etc. I've been all over...and this was one of a kind.

Outstanding Safari Provider!
I have travelled all around the globe, but had never been to Africa. Friends told us about Tanzania Exclusive Journeys, and their praise was well-deserved. Looking back on it seems like a dream--life changing. Our amazing driver/guide Ian was incredibly knowledgeable and wise. He could be driving while we were looking all around and suddenly stop the truck and say: Did you see that?!? We had seen nothing. He would slowly back up the truck and help us find, for example, a leopard sleeping on a tree branch. This happened repeatedly, although we began to fine tune our gaze. The tented camps (glamps) were terrific. One of my favorite moments was when we were relaxing before dinner, sitting around a campfire with a beverage, while looking back toward our "cabin" a giraffe was strolling through the camp. It underscores how we were so lucky be guests in their environment. Thank you Tanzania Exclusive Journeys for a magnificent exploration and magical experience. Hakuna Matata!

Amazing Experience and an Awesome Guide!
Where to begin. Lets start with the day my sister and I contacted Tanzania Exclusive Journeys and the extremely prompt response from Tony. We explained our dream private safari trip of Tanzania to her and she put together the PERFECT itinerary for us. When we had booked our trip it was February of 2020 and we picked the month of November to travel which gave us lots of time to think of other things we wanted to include and other things we wanted to dismiss. Tony did an excellent job of answering all our many questions and had a few great suggestions we hadn't thought of. As you can imagine traveling during this pandemic was a sincere concern for us but Tanzania Exclusive Journeys has many safety precautions in place and at no time did we feel unsafe or unprotected. Our driver guide Musa was outstanding. From the moment he picked us up at JRO international until the moment we said our farewells 10 days later. His passion for the land and its animals was indeed obvious. One of the outstanding features of booking with Tanzania Exclusive Journeys is the contact you have with your travel expert. Tony checked in with our driver guide frequently to be sure our experience was everything we were hoping for and even when we finished safari and continued on to Zanzibar she was in touch with our pick up personal and spoke to us directly via phone and WhatsApp to be sure we arrived safely and everything was meeting our expectations. That really meant a lot to us because it was just my sister and I and having that check in gave us comfort. If you are considering a trip to beautiful Tanzania then look no further than the outstanding service and personal concern for your dream trip of a lifetime. ABSOLUTELY WORTH THE MONEY!
In booking our trip with Tanzania Exclusive Journeys we could not be more thrilled with not only the amazing time we had but also the attention that we received before the trip even began. Jane was unwavering in the high level of service she offered by answering the many questions we had, offering the best suggestion and solutions for what we wanted to do and any changes we wished to make. We were initially a little apprehensive about being in a truck with our driver/guide for six days but this was totally unfounded. Our driver Peter was incredible, he fit in like part of our family from the beginning and made sure that the trip was not only great for us but also for our two girls. It’s understandable that many families he has done safaris with in the past return time and time again to do it all over again. Peter’s knowledge extends to not only animals and the landscape but also to the country's various tribes, the environment, and the many different social and economic aspects of it – this was imperative in answering all of my list of questions. Overall we were highly impressed with the service we received from Tanzania Exclusive Journeys, the comfort of our vehicle, the standards of accommodation at all lodges/camp sites/etc and most importantly our driver/guide Tom. We will definitely be back at some time in the future and will look towards this company to help us arrange our itinerary – and of course request Peter!

The Most Amazing Trip!
I am short of words on how to describe how spectacular the 7 days at Ngorongoro and Serengeti National park have been. Every detail of this trip was taken care by the amazing Tanzania Exclusive Journeys and we received great support from the entire team right from the beginning till we sat on the plane to fly back home.
