Everyone is friendly and helpful.
5/5

I had an amazing experience. First of all i want to make special wishes to our driver William, who helped us in so many different ways. He helped us to get fresh and EXTRA CHEAP fruits. He took us water and passion fruit just to try while we drove and make sure we feel comfortable. Such a lovely guy!
He was friendly and answered all the questions we had. And he spoke English very well. Honestly - if you can promote him somehow, do so please!
In accomodation place, people were also very friendly and helpful. I am gluten and dairy free and they didn’t mind it all. They did the food differently with no problem - so thankful for that.
The place is in the wild nature which was very different and satisfying. We even saw Elephants in there.
Really reccomend, totally worth it it’s money.

An emotional experience!
4/5

Me and my daughter had an amazing experience. The driver, William, is not a huge talker however when questions were asked and when it was necessary he talked and explained in details.
He is a really good driver since in the park is not so easy to drive after some rainy days. He spoiled us by buying several fruits from the way to the camp to let us try them.
Apart from William, the accommodation is surrounded by wild nature — like monkeys — and there is also a nice pool.
In our room there was air conditioner which was fundamental to sleep well.
Unfortunately, it happened more times that the electricity shutdown for some hours.
None of the staff ever entered in our room to clean it.
The food was a lot and really good!
In conclusion it was a really nice experience and a very interesting one also by concluding the journey visiting the Maasai village.
Thank you so much to all of you!

Amazing experience
5/5

The 3-Day 2-Night Mikumi and Udzungwa trekking was a great experience I would recommend to anyone to book.

We were picked up in the morning of the first day by our excellent driver/guide William, and drove to Mikumi national park. We had time to go on a short game drive in the evening. We opted to sleep inside the park on the first night so we could get extra time in on the second day for the game drive. No complaints on the rooms in the park, they were more than adequate for what we needed and the food was great.

On the second day we went on the second game drive, where William worked hard to ensure we saw all the animals we wanted to see. In the afternoon, we went to Camp Bastian to rest before the trek the next day. The camping option was ok, but at the time of year we went it was particularly hot at night which can make sleeping difficult. The food here was also excellent and there's a pool.

On the final day, we set off early for the trek in Udzungwa to the Sanje Waterfall. It's not too strenuous, and a beautiful sight. Be sure to pack a swimming costume and towel so you can swim here! There are changing rooms available at the waterfall.

The only thing I think could be improved is the communication with pick up time, as we had been given a different time to the driver which caused some confusion.

I'd like to thank William again for making the trip extra special, he really does go above and beyond to make it one to remember!

Great tour for low budget travelers
5/5

We were picked up at our hotel (Protea Marriott Courtyard - highly recommended!) early in the morning by our guide, William, and made our way to Mikumi in time for a good lunch and a great afternoon tour of the park. William was very accommodating and answered our endless questions without hesitation and with great knowledge. He knew the animals and their habits well, including the ages of baby hippos and elephants, one of which he watched being birthed. He is a capable and careful driver on the busy paved roads leading to the park, as well as the dirt tracks in the park.

We were offered the opportunity to change our accommodations and opted to stay in the park to allow for late sunset and early sunrise drives. This allowed us to see the last of a group of lions finishing the remains of a night-time zebra kill before joining her group under a tree, satiated and exhausted. We were all amazed that these powerful beasts were unfazed by our vehicles as we watched. The park rangers carefully managed the observation. The only down side was the hoped-for air conditioned rooms were already filled by the time we arrived at the park, so we stayed in a lodge with fans and screens instead. But the staff were very attentive, and the breakfast was great, catering to the tastes of international visitors.
