The best service ever 🔥
I am absolutely delighted with the service from Sunup Adventures! My parents had a wonderful time! The team was very polite and attentive. Everything was organized at the highest level. My parents don’t speak English well, and the Sunup team did everything to make them feel comfortable during the trip! Thank you so much! Definitely! I highly recommend it to everyone!

Amazing service and experience
We really had the best time during our 4-days safari in Masai Mara, Nakuru and Naivasha organised by SunUp Adventures!
The communication with Chris was great, he helped us customise our safari and was always very responsive and kind. He also booked our trains tickets to Mombasa since I could not do it from Italy.
During the safari, our guide David has been simply AMAZING. Not only he was very funny and gave us a lot of information, but he was really able to make our safari a great experience we will remember for ever. He is really talented in spotting animals and went above and beyond to show us the most possible and make it memorable.
We couldn't recommend these guys enough and we really hope to come back one day!

On the booking stage Chris supported all the way with itinerary ideas for us to experience the best safari for our requests and budget, very helpful and even after we had a mishap with the payments he managed to find a quick work around
Our Driver “David” was very knowledgeable about Kenya, the route, parks and mostly about the Animal and their habitat, he made our trip very enjoyable
He is also a very skilled driver that made the some atrocious road more tolerable, he told that the Pothole are part of the experience and can give you the best “African massage”, we had plenty of “massages” and while the car (4x4 land cruiser) made easier he surely help to navigate the road puzzle, we was a great driver that I believe the car had an automated gear box and at the end when I pay attention to it I realized it was manual all alone
We been on 4 days (3 night) safari from Nairobi to Masai Mara (2 nights) then lake Nakuru (1 Night) and back to Nairobi, even if the weather was poor we had lost of rain we still managed to see plenty of animals and exactly when and where David told us.
We really had a trip of a lifetime, and we like to thank SunUp Adventures team, Chris and David for it!

A fantastic partner for a once in a lifetime experience
Fantastic journey and safari from Nairobi through Amboseli. Our guide Robin was brilliant and knew exactly where to go when. The vehicle, water etc was what we needed and we had a comfortable night at the Sentrim Lodge. A big thanks to Robin, yourself, and your team for the facilitation of a once in a lifetime experience. Excellent from start to finish, would book again without hesitation
Excellent tour operator that organized our 4 day Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru Safari. Very friendly, quick and efficient communication with Chris (manager) and John (guide & driver). We were able to tailor the itinerary, accommodations and car to our likings. John did an excellent job with the driving (incl stops whenever and wherever we needed), game drives and showing us around. I would book again without hesitation.

Mt Kenya hike with SunUp was A+
I should have written this review sooner as the team at SunUp Adventures is A+. Chris has great communication and helped organise a fantastic hike on Mt Kenya. Richard was the guide, and Charles, Patrick and David made up the rest of the team. I’m a keen photographer, and they politely accommodated my frequent stops and requests to be out early or around dinner time. Richard is a very experienced guide and a smart guy - when he didn’t know the answer to a question he didn’t make up answers like I experienced with guides on safaris in Kenya and Tanzania. Richard impressed me. Charles cooked some good and nourishing food, and Patrick and David carried much of my stuff including photography equipment and I really appreciated that. I’m an experienced hiker and I work as a field ecologist and wildlife photographer in multiple countries, and as a solo hiker I had to have a guide for Mt Kenya but I’m glad I did and that I chose SunUp. I would like to return to do more trips with the SunUp team.

A very professional and well-run business, with excellent guides and vehicles
As wildlife photographers we wanted a private customised trip to the Masai Mara. I contacted 4 companies in Kenya for our safari and while all answered, most were only interested in selling their standard packages. Chris from Sunup Adventures repeatedly came back to me with ideas and took the time to understand what we wanted. The lodge he found us was perfect for our needs. The standard of their vehicles is very high and John the guide was excellent in positioning the vehicle for the correct photographic light.
We have no problem in recommending them to prospective travellers, and will be using them again in the future
